“Miranda, get up” – Miranda’s Mom yelled from the bottom of the stairs
“I’m up” – Miranda yelled

Miranda got up and got some clothes (her favourite role model t-shirt and a pair of jeans) then went to have a shower, got dressed and then did her hair and make-up then went downstairs to get some breakfast and brushed her teeth then headed out the door and started walking to school.

On her way to school Miranda was about to put my headphones on and listen to her iPod when Miranda heard a voice behind her yelling her name so Miranda turned around and saw David running towards her. David lives a block away of her.

“Hey David” – Miranda said
“Hey” – David said out of breath
“How long have you been following me” – Miranda asked
“Couple minutes” – David said
“Oh, I see” – Miranda said
“So, how was your night?” – David asked
“It was good” – Miranda said “how about yours?”
“You know, busy with band practice til midnight” – David said
“Oh yeah, sounds fun” – Miranda said
“It can be” – David said

They finally reached the school and headed to the courtyard where they normally meet the guys and Michelle they walked into the courtyard and found no one, so they sat under the tree at the picnic table.

“So any plans for the weekend?” – David asked
“Not sure yet” – Miranda said “How about you?”
“Band practice and hanging with the guys” – David said
“Cool, I’ll probably see you there, because of Michelle, her and Pierre are inseparable these days” – Miranda said
“Yeah, it’s not normal” – David said
“I know eh” – Miranda said

A couple minutes went by and income Michelle and Pierre

“Speaking of the devils” – Miranda said
“Hey, peeps” – David said
“Hello” – Michelle and Pierre said joining us at the picnic table
“You two were talking about us again, weren’t you” – Michelle asked
“Maybe” – Miranda said
“Is it fun, talking about us” – Michelle asked
“Very much” – David said with a big grin
“Whatever” – Pierre said
“Anyhow, I’m hungry” – Miranda said
“Me too” – David said
“Let’s go to the cafe and leave these two love birds alone” – Miranda said
“Okay, bye” – David said as we got up and left the courtyard
“Bye” – Michelle and Pierre said
“Peace” – Miranda said

David and Miranda walked to the cafe to get food, when they got there they saw the other guys sitting at a table and decided to join them after they got their food.

“Yes, hash browns” – David and Miranda said
“Hello, can I help you” – The cafe lady asked
“Yeah, can I get two small hash browns” – Miranda asked
“Okay” – The cafe lady said
“I could have got my own” – David said
“I know, but I wanted to pay” – Miranda said
“Oh, okay” – David said

They got their hash browns and juice and went to join the other guys.

“Hello guys” – Miranda said
“Hey Mir and Dave” – They all said
“Why are you guys sitting in here” – Miranda asked
“Decided we would change it up today” – Sebastién replied
“Cool” – Miranda said
“So, I’m guessing Pierre and Michelle are in the courtyard” – Chuck asked
“Yeah, we were but we got hungry” – David said
“Why am I not surprised” – Jeff said
“Oh, shut up” – David said

The bell rang and they all went their separate ways and Miranda met up with Michelle and they headed to Media Studies. The guys all had Music and English, The guys are in Grade 12 and Michelle and Miranda are in Grade 11. They all attend College Beaubois together.

“So what were you and Pierre doing all morning” – Miranda asked
“Nothing really” – Michelle said
“I’m not sure I believe you, but whatever” – Miranda said
“I swear we did nothing” – Michelle said
“Okay” – Miranda said

They arrived to Media Studies and took their seats at the back of the room.

“Good Morning Class” – Ms. Hicks said
“Hello Biotch” – Michelle whispered
Miranda and Michelle Laughed

Ms. Hicks handed out some paper work Michelle and Miranda kept talking as usual.

“So what are you going to do this weekend” – Miranda asked
“Oh, the usual you know, hangout with Pierre and the guys at band practice” – Michelle said
“I still can’t understand what you see in him” – Miranda said
“Same here Miranda, same here” – Michelle said giggling

Michelle and Miranda talked pretty much the rest of class and lost track of time and when the bell rang they realized they did nothing all class.

They left the class and went to their lockers and put their books away and then waited for the guys because all of their lunches are at the same time, their school made it so people didn’t have the same lunches.

“What are we doing for lunch” - Miranda asked
“Who knows it changes every day with these guys” – Michelle said
“I know what’s up with that” – Miranda said
“I guess they get sick of the same thing everyday” – Michelle said

They reached the cafe and went to meet the guys at their table at the back of the cafe, where they always sat when they weren’t in the courtyard.

“Hey guys how was Music and English” – Miranda asked sitting down
“Oh you know, pretty much boring” – Pierre said
“What about you girls, how was Media” - David asked
”Ummm, good question” – Miranda said
“You didn’t do anything but talk all class again....didn’t you” – Sebastién asked
“He, he, he” – Michelle and Miranda both said giggling
“Tisk, tisk” – Chuck said
“Sorry, It’s just boring right now all were doing is paper work” – Miranda said
“Oh, that is boring” – David said
“I know right” – Miranda said
“Anyhow, what’s the plan for lunch” – Michelle asked
“Ummm, how about DQ – Pierre suggested
“Sounds good to me” – Miranda said
“Me too” – David said
“DQ it is” – Jeff said
“YAY!” David and Miranda said
“You too are crazy” – Pierre said
“We know” – Miranda & David said

Then they all got up and left the school and headed for DQ.

They arrived at DQ and ordered their food and then sat down, they pulled another table over so they could all sit together.

After they finished their food they walked around town for awhile then headed back to the school and went to their lockers and grabbed their books and headed to their classes.

Michelle and Miranda had Science, David and Pierre had Math, and the other guys had French.

“Hello class” – Mr. Coleman said “today we will be doing a lab so please turn to page 28 and read the lab”
“Great, a lab” – Miranda said sarcastically
“I hate labs” – Michelle said
“Me too” – Miranda said

They got the stuff they needed for the lab and went and sat at an empty station and began their lab.

Halfway through class they became frustrated and annoyed so they decided to stop and do nothing but talk for the rest of class.

“Mir, can I ask you something” – Michelle asked
“Sure, what” – Miranda replied
“Do you like David” – Michelle asked
“Whoa, random” – Miranda said
“I know but I’m just curious” – Michelle said
“Yeah. But not like that, I mean we’re good friends” – Miranda said
“For the record I think you too would make a cute couple” – Michelle said
“I don’t know, I mean don’t get me wrong he’s funny, nice and hot” – Miranda said
“But” – Michelle said
“I just don’t want to risk our friendship for something that might not work out” – Miranda said
“But you don’t know if it will if you never try and take that risk” – Michelle said
“Wow, someone has been thinking about this” – Miranda said
“Not really, Pierre and I were talking about it this morning” – Michelle said
“So Pierre thinks David and I would make a cute couple too” – Miranda asked
“Yeah” – Michelle said
“Great, now he’ll probably get David to ask me out or something” – Miranda said
“You don’t know that” – Michelle said
“Yeah, I do those two talk about and tell each other everything, Pierre will let it slip” – Miranda said
“Yeah, I guess but I don’t see it as a big deal” – Michelle said

The bell rang and they were walking to their lockers and they saw that David and Pierre where standing there waiting for them.

“Hello peeps” – Miranda said
“Hello ladies” – David said
“Hello” – Pierre said
“Yo” – Michelle said
“How was Science” – Pierre asked
“Frustrating and annoying” - Miranda said
“Why” – Pierre asked
“We were doing a lab and it got confusing and frustrating and we gave up” – Michelle said
“Oh, and let me guess you talked all class” – David asked
“Yeah” – Miranda said with a big grin
“You two talk alot in class, what do you have to talk about” – David asked
“Stuff, nothing to exciting” – Miranda said
“Sure” – Pierre said
“You’ll find out soon enough” – Michelle said
“Michelle” – Miranda said hitting her
“What’s going on” – Pierre asked
”Nothing, nothing at all” - Miranda said
“Whatever” – Pierre said
“I’m going to go, I have no class now so I think I’ll go home” – Miranda said
“Okay” – Michelle and Pierre said
“I’ll come with you I have no class either” – David said
“Oh, okay” – Miranda said
“Bye peeps” – David said
“Bye” – Michelle and Pierre said
“Ill call you late Michelle” – Miranda said
“Kay, bye” – Michelle said

David and Miranda grabbed their stuff from their lockers and headed for the doors and then headed for their houses. David lived a block away of her so he walked her home.

Meanwhile after David and Miranda left the school Michelle and Pierre where still there and they decided to skip their last classes and hangout in the courtyard.

“So isn’t Miranda and David so cute together” – Michelle asked
“Yeah - Pierre said
“Well Mir doesn’t want to date him because she thinks it’ll ruin their friendship if something happened” –Michelle said
“She worries too much, I mean what if they went out do you honestly think David would hurt her they’ve been friends for like ever and he hasn’t let anything happen to her, that he hasn’t did on an accident anyways – Pierre said laughing
“Yeah, true, maybe you should talk to David and see what he has to say about it” – Michelle said
“I don’t know, I’ll try after band practice tonight I’ll talk to him” – Pierre said
“Thanks, Boyfriend you’re the best” – Michelle said
“I know” – Pierre said with a big grin and then leaned in and kissed Michelle
“So what do you want to do” – Michelle asked
“Ummm, well” – Pierre said
“No” – Michelle said
“But” – Pierre said with a pouty face
“No” – Michelle said “And you know that pouty face don’t work on me anymore”
“Right” – Pierre said “Please”
“No, and because you’ll ask again, no” – Michelle said
“Fine then be that way” – Pierre said all sad
“Okay, I will” – Michelle said giggling
“You’re a Meanie you know that” – Pierre said
“Yupp and proud of it” – Michelle said
“That hurt” – Pierre said
“Awwwe, muffin” – Michelle said

David and Miranda finally reached her house and then they went in and hung out for a while.

“Are you hungry” – Miranda asked
“Yeah” – David said
“Okay, let’s go into the kitchen and see what there is in the house to eat” – Miranda said
“Sounds, good” – David said

They walked into the kitchen and started to raid through the cabinets and fridge.

Then the phone rang, so Miranda went to answer it, but before she answered it she looked at the ID but it said private number unknown name, but she pick it up anyways.

“Hello?” – Miranda answered
“Hello” – A male voice said
“May I ask who this is?” – Miranda asked
“It’s Martin” – The male voice said
“Martin Johnson?” – Miranda asked
“Yeah, why do you know another Martin?” – The male voice said
“Oh, and no just haven’t heard from you in a while and it said private name and normally your number would show up on the caller ID” – Miranda said
“Yeah, I had to get a new phone because someone kind of stole my old one” – Martin said
“Oh, that sucks” – Miranda said
“Yeah, but anyhow I have some exciting news” – Martin said
“What?” – Miranda asked
“Where, playing a show in Montreal tonight” – Martin said
“OMG! Really that’s awesome, too bad I have no money so I won’t be able to come see you play” – Miranda said sadly
“No, need to worry about that, I’ll put you on the backstage guest list” – Martin said
“Really that would be awesome” – Miranda said
“Awesome, I’ll see you tonight” – Martin said
“Okay, I’m looking forward to it” – Miranda said
“Me too” – Martin said
“Cya, tonight” – Miranda said
“Cya, bye” – Martin said
“Bye” – Miranda said

They both hung up and Miranda re-joined David back in the kitchen to see him and a big mess all over the counters.

“Umm...David...What happened” – Miranda asked
“I was making food” – David said
“It looks like a tornado hit and knocked everything out of the cabinets and fridge” – Miranda said
“My bad” – David said
”My mom is going to freak, let’s clean this mess up” – Miranda said
“Okay” – David said
“I’ll put everything back in the cabinets and fridge you start on putting the dishes in the dishwasher” – Miranda said

Miranda started humming while she was putting food and stuff away and David noticed and looked at her funny.

“Someone’s in a good mood” – David said
“Oh yeah” – Miranda said
“Why is this” – David asked
“I finally get to see one of my best friends that I haven’t seen in like forever tonight” – Miranda said
“Oh yeah, anyone I know” – David asked
“Ummm...that depends have you heard of a band called “Boys Like Girls” – Miranda asked
“Oh yeah, they are awesome” – David said
“Well I’m best friends with the lead singer, Martin Johnson” – Miranda said
“Oh yeah that’s cool” – David said
“Yeah and they are playing in Montreal tonight and I’m on the backstage guest list” – Miranda said
“Awesome” – David said
“Very much so” – Miranda said

They finished cleaning just in time, Miranda’s mom walked into the house and headed straight for the kitchen.

“Hey mom” – Miranda said
“Hello Miranda and David” – She said
“Hello, Ms Langlois” – David said
“What have you two been up to” – She asked
“Nothing really” – David said
“Guess who called today, Mom” – Miranda said excited
“Who?” – She asked
“Martin” – Miranda said
“Really, wow it’s been a long time since he’s called, how is he doing” – She asked

Martin and Miranda’s mom got along really well that was one of the reasons why he was an awesome friend because he was like part of the family and was always there for them, expectly when Miranda’s mom and dad got divorced.

“He’s good he and the guys have a show in Montreal tonight and he put me on the backstage guest list” – Miranda said
“That’s cool” – She said
“I know, I’m excited to see him it’s been forever” – Miranda said
“Are you taking Michelle with you” – She asked
“No, she’ll probably be busy hanging out with Pierre” – Miranda said
“Oh, but you two go to all your concerts or whatever together all the time” – She said
“I know but I also want to catch up with Martin and the guys by myself” – Miranda said “And I never asked him if I could bring someone with me”
“Oh, okay” – She said
“Uh huh” – Miranda said
“Anyways, I’m going to start supper, David would you like to stay” – She asked
“Sure, let me just call my mom and let her know” – David said
“Okay” – She said

David grabbed the phone and called his mom, while he did that the door bell started to ring so Miranda went to answer it.
She opened the door and saw a familiar figure standing on the porch, it was...

“MARTIN” – Miranda yelled
“MIRANDA” – Martin yelled
“Stop yelling David is still on the phone” – Miranda’s mom said
“Sorry” – Miranda said looking at Martin and giggling
“David?” – Martin said confused
“A friend from school” – Miranda said
“Just a friend” – Martin teased
“Oh, shut up besides you know I would let you know if I had a boyfriend” – Miranda said
“I know, I’m just teasing” – Martin said
“You better be, because everyone is bugging me and keep telling me that they would be cool if me and David ever go out” – Miranda said
“Wow, you haven’t changed much, still playing it safe” – Martin said
“Well, I’m sorry if every guy I went out with before turned out to be complete assholes, cheated on me or dumps me for stupid reasons.” – Miranda said
“You know not all guys are like that and maybe this David guy would prove that to you” – Martin said
“No, not you to GOD!” – Miranda said
“I’m sorry, I’ll stop” – Martin said
“No you won’t but okay” – Miranda said
“Anyhow, I have something for you” Martin said ”Close your eyes and hold out your hands”
“Okay” – Miranda said with a confused look on my face but did what he told me to do

Miranda felt a piece of paper or something along the lines of that begin placed in her hands she soon figured out what it was before he told her to open her eyes

“Okay, open your eyes” – Martin said
“Sweet” – Miranda said looking at the backstage pass that he told her she would be getting so she could go backstage and hangout with the guys
“I know right” – Martin said
“Thank you, thank you, thank you” – Miranda said
“Your welcome” – Martin said laughing at me

After he gave her the pass her mom and David entered the living room

“Oh My God, Martin it’s been awhile” – Miranda’s mom said coming over and giving Martin a hug
“Hello, Lily” – Martin said “It has been awhile, how have you been”
“Pretty good, just working a lot, how about you” – She asked
“Awesome, my band and I are currently on tour right now” – Martin said
“Sounds like everything is working out for you like I always knew they would” – She said
“Yeah” – Martin said

Martin saw David standing beside her and introduced himself

“Hello, I’m Martin, you must be David” – Martin said
“Hello, nice to meet you” – David said
“So are you going to stay for supper” – Miranda asked Martin
“Yeah, I guess I can let me just call Bryan and let him and the guys know” – Martin said grabbing his cell phone out of his pocket
“Okie Dokie” – Miranda said

All of a sudden the front door flew open and five guys came into the house being guys they were as loud as they could be

“Hello” – Pat Yelled
“Guys shut up, Martin is on the phone” – Miranda said
“Martin?” – Sebastién said “As in Martin Johnson the lead singer of Boys Like Girls”
“Yeah, Miranda and Martin have been friends for like ever” – Pat said
“Awesome” – The guys said
“I know, he is my best friend ever” – Miranda said
“Oh and what about me” – A voice said coming from behind Pierre, it was Michelle
“My best guy friend ever, I mean” – Miranda said
“That’s better” – Michelle said and everyone started to laugh

The guys all introduced themselves to Martin after he was done on the phone and then they made their way in the dining room and had supper and then after supper pat and the guys and Michelle went downstairs to Pat’s studio/room/hangout and did god knows what and Miranda got ready to go to the concert and Martin was hanging out with her mom til she was ready to go.

7:00pm came around fast the guys were on their way to the stage, but Martin didn’t go he stopped in front of Miranda.

“What” – Miranda said with a confused look
“Nothing, just wanted to let you know that you look really hot tonight” – Martin said
“Thanks, I guess” – Miranda said
“It true” – Martin said

Miranda was speechless and didn’t know what to do, all of a sudden she saw Martin coming closer and then he kissed her on the lips, and then pulled away

“Wow” – Miranda said
“I’m sorry” – Martin said
“Where’d that come from” – Miranda asked still in shock
“I don’t honestly know” – Martin said “I guess I’ve always wanted to do that”
“Oh” – Miranda said still not knowing what to say

Then Paul came up to them and took the awkwardness away a little.

“Sorry to break up whatever I’m breaking up but we’re on dude” – Paul said
“Okay, well I guess we’ll finish this after” – Martin said
“Okay” – Miranda said “Have a good show”
“Oh we will” – Paul said

They both headed to the stage and went on Miranda decided to go and watch from the side of the stage. Then her phone started to vibrate so she answered it. It was Michelle

“Hello” – Miranda answered
“Hey” – Michelle said
“What’s up” – Miranda asked
“Nothing, much how about you” – Michelle said
“Just watching the concert, can I call you back later” – Miranda asked
“Yeah, sure” – Michelle said
“Okay, peace” – Miranda said
“Bye” – Michelle said

They both hung up and as Miranda hung up she heard and saw Martin talking to the crowd about the next song they were going to sing

“The next song were going to play goes out to a very good friend who is here tonight, she’s actually backstage listening” – Martin said “This song is called Thunder”

The crowd screamed as they started to play the song.

After they were finished play the song they played a few more and then said their goodbyes and thank yous to the crowd and came back to the backstage area.

Miranda was sitting in the dressing room waiting for the guy’s texting people and she heard someone by the doorway but she continued texting.

“So what did you think” – Martin asked
“I can’t believe you wrote a song for me, It was amazing” – Miranda said hugging him
“Good, I was afraid you might not like it” – Martin said
“I loved it” – Miranda said “So what’s up now”
“Ummm, food” – Martin said
“Sounds good, where we going” – Miranda asked
“I don’t know” – Martin said
“Oh, well that would be helpful to know” – Miranda said giggling
“Yeah, probably” – Martin said
