i wasted all my breathe on you
and even though i've gotten this cheap motel room for two
i still see your shadow in the moon
now what do you think about the stars in the sky
what do you think about the sun it shines so bright
what do you think about the grass and how it feels so soft
what do you think about our hands when they touch
and even though i would of left
even if you said no
i couldn't bring myself to even take a guess
or question how i could live without you
even the clock clicks down to the end
the flavor of your lips die out
the knights no longer save the princess
and in the morning
when the table is set
we start to fight again
and we do the things we always regret
and even though i've gotten this cheap motel room for two
i still see your shadow in the moon
now what do you think about the stars in the sky
what do you think about the sun it shines so bright
what do you think about the grass and how it feels so soft
what do you think about our hands when they touch
and even though i would of left
even if you said no
i couldn't bring myself to even take a guess
or question how i could live without you
even the clock clicks down to the end
the flavor of your lips die out
the knights no longer save the princess
and in the morning
when the table is set
we start to fight again
and we do the things we always regret
