"Oh but you do.." the beast growled softly, it's brown eyes locked on my daughter. It's stare was gentle and somewhat friendly. "NO." i shouted, breaking it's concentration. Those eyes hardened when it glanced at me. "You have no choice." it replied and grinned, showing all it's teeth. "No. You can't have her. Pick something else." i continued, my heart racing.
