I stood on the edge.
Ready to take the dive.
You pulled me away.
You held me in your arms.
I'm alive because of you.
The pills were in my hand.
The bottle of alcohol in the other.
You threw them both away.
Told me what I meant to you.
You've always been my saviour.
Theres a noose dangling above me.
I step onto the chair.
You lift me off.
You cut the rope.
You're my guardian angel.
I'm submerged in water.
Blood's pouring out my veins.
You drag me out the bath.
And take me to the hospital.
You're always there for me.
You kiss my scars.
You fight my demons.
You listen to me fears.
You save my life so many times.
You fight my battles when I'm too weak to carry on.
A/N I'm tired after staying up till 8 am last night. So there you go a shitty wee poem. My parents didn't go camping today because of the weather but they are determined for us to go before my dad goes back to work.
