Never mind the girl
With her delicate, broken wings
Standing outside in the pouring rain
Baring her soul to the wind and night
Never mind the girl
With her piercing blue eyes
Bleeding outside, under the shimmering stars
Pouring her life out onto the grass and dust
Never mind the girl
With her tangled, filthy hair
Sleeping outside under the naked trees
Sharing her fears and secrets with the lonely passing clouds
Never mind the girl
Everybody fails to notice
Never mind the girl
With her shivering, bony body
Shrinking into the air surrounding her
Losing herself to the chaos and darkness piece by crucial piece
Never mind the girl
Who won’t be there tomorrow
With her delicate, broken wings
Standing outside in the pouring rain
Baring her soul to the wind and night
Never mind the girl
With her piercing blue eyes
Bleeding outside, under the shimmering stars
Pouring her life out onto the grass and dust
Never mind the girl
With her tangled, filthy hair
Sleeping outside under the naked trees
Sharing her fears and secrets with the lonely passing clouds
Never mind the girl
Everybody fails to notice
Never mind the girl
With her shivering, bony body
Shrinking into the air surrounding her
Losing herself to the chaos and darkness piece by crucial piece
Never mind the girl
Who won’t be there tomorrow
