Chapter one
May I have all of your eyes and ears to the front of the room?
I peeked out of the curtain as I seen the cheering crowd my heart skipped a beat. I turned to my best friends in the whole world and gave them a reassuring smile as I heard our name being called. I walked on the stage I grabbed the mic and spoke into it, Hey guy's I'm Infinity and this is my band were..... GOSPEL MEMORIES!! I shouted and the crowd started cheering, "ok were going to start you off with a cover by one of our favorite bands... FALL OUT BOY!!" I took a deep breath in as I heard Sheigh start the drum beat and started singing
"Baby seasons change but people don't an I'll always waiting in the back room I'm boring but overcompensate with headline's and flash, flash, flash photography. But don't pretend you'd ever forget about me, don't pretend you'd ever forget about me-e-ee-e-ee...." I smiled as my best friend Cameron chimed in with me playing her bass.... "Wouldn't you rather be a widow than a divorcee? Style your wake for fashion magazine's widow or a divorcee? Don't pretend d-d-d-don't pretend.... I pointed my mic to the crowd ...... WE DON'T FIGHT FAIR!! They say your head can be a prison....."
After we sang/played our hearts out on stage we started packing up to go home I thanked the club owner/friend of The music or the misery for letting us play and he gave me the key's so I could lock up when we were done loading our instruments and then he left. All four of us started talking "That was A-W-E-S-O-M-E-!" Willow exclaimed a little energy high from one too many energy drinks as the rest of us were "I KNOW RIGHT!" I yelled back and the other two girls started laughing their butt's off "ok we'll see you girl's tomorrow" Sheigh said catching her breath from laughing so hard and she grabbed Willow's hand and they walked off towards their jeep they shared and me and Cameron kept packing out instruments into the back of my truck when I realized I forgot my car key's in the club I walked into the music or the misery and came up blank I heard footstep's behind me thinking it was Cameron so I didn't think anything of it until someone said from behind me
"Looking for these?" said the male voice from behind me my eye's widened as I recognized his voice I turned around and almost fainted as I looked at my celebrity crush standing in front of me I felt like I was going to pass out because its been so long since- I shook that thought out of my mind as I stared at him wondering if I was seeing thing's or if it was really him I blinked a couple of times before realizing that it definatly was none other than Peter mother fricken Wentz! I nodded and reached for the key's and tried to act like just a normal fan but my act was a little too much becasue this is what happend after I took my key's tryig to hold back the tear's. I closed my mouth which was apparently hanging open and stood their for a minute just staring blankly at him when he smirked and finally asked "you ok?" I blinked and opened my mouth but a bunch of nonsense came out until I clamped my hand over my mouth and took a deep breath before removing my hand and saying, "Sorry I drank too much energy drinks and didn't know if I was seeing thing's or not" I smiled sheepishly at him before he burst out laughing and extended his hand before saying "its ok I'm-" "Pete Mother fricken Wentz!" I said with a big cheesy grin on my face before blushing and realizing what the hell I just said, he just laughed again and replied "yeah and yours?"
"Infinity Deux" I said smiling. "Cool name its waaaaaaay shorter than mine" I stifled a laugh but realized I was still holding onto his hand that he extended to me, I blushed again and took it back "yeah thank's," He nodded and replied with "So I saw you and your friend's show tonight-" His voice faded out as I checked out how I looked "OMG PETE WENTZ SAW ME AND MY FRIEND'S PLAYING TONIGHT! AND I WORE THIS!?!" I thought to myself then realized I still liked him "just as a crush or more?" my mind asked then I looked down at my faded black jeans with rips up and down the legs and my "I love Pete Wentz" t-shirt from Pete's new clothing line and I realized it wasnt that bad of an outfit I smiled and looked up to realize what he was saying and noticed I was totally zoned out I blinked a couple of time's.
Huh? I asked wondering what the hell I just missed. "Oh! I was just saying you and your friends were great! and I was thinking about signing you guys to my record label" My eye's widened and my jaw dropped but farther this time because that mean's that I would be able to see him more often but that also means that I would see him ALL the time when we went on tour IF and only IF we could find music for a cd I shook my head and realized that he was also asking me a "Now" ordinary girl to him that he said had an amazing so tonight and wanted us to be sigend to decaydance! I became excited with the thought as I whipped out my cellphone to call Cameron and telling her to get her ass in here, "What?! yelled a very annoyed Cameron I'm just outside waiting for you! why call me from just twenty feet away?" she wined "No questions!" "Just Get your ass in here!" "why I-" but I cut her off by hanging up the phone "what was that all about?" asked a very confused Pete with a questioning expression on his face just then I heard an ear-shattering scream as I turned to see my best friend standing only an inch away from us, "OMFG! WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY PETER LEWIS KINGSTON WENTZ THE THIRD WAS HERE!?!"
I shook my head and laughed "I didn't know until he gave me my key's oh! thank's for finding them by the way" I smiled at him and he replied with something under the lines of "no prob!" and I turned to Cameron "sit down" "why?" she raised and eyebrow, "Because you might die after I tell you this, and I don't want another episode of Cameron's "Omg" fainting moment's" I laughed "HEY! ITS NOT MY FAULT! I Didn't know that Hayley William's ate at subway!" "I faint on the spot two years ago and never hear the end of it" she muttered while pouting and sat down on a chair, me and Pete burst out laughing "That was YOU!?!" asked a doubled over Pete I forgot Pete and Hayley were friend's and that just made laugh harder, after I had time to catch my breath I sat down across from her and patted down a seat for Pete to sit by us, "ok are you ready?" Cameron took a deep breath and opened her eye's "I'm ready" Ok this is AWESOME news!" "OK JUST SPILL IT ALREADY!" Yelled a impatient Cameron I giggled as Pete was trying to get sound back into his eardrums as he was doing that I got to the point "Pete wants to sign us to his record label" She sat frozen for about a minutes before jumping out of her chair then up and down and screaming then she stopped for a minute and looked at me before I jumped up an caught her and started laughing so hard I dropped her which woke her up,
I helped her up and turned to Pete and handed him my phone while he handed me his, we both punched our number's in an handed each other our phone's back, that number that was now showing to me on my cell striked a nerve and I out it back and plastered a half fake smile o my face I decided since it was him that I coul act a little weird and that's what I did. "Soo I guess we'll see you later boss!" I saluted him and walked away before remembering something I turned back and walked up to him. "Um what's the address for the recording studio were going to exactly?" He laughed a little and handed me a piece of paper and just told me "Follow this address and you'll be set!" I nodded and grabbed the peice of papaer not eve bothering to check the address because it wa all too firmiliar I shook the thought from my head once again then grabbed Cameron's hand and we got inside my truck before I realized something I grabbed Cam's hand and said to her "OMG I forgot something! we have to tell Sheigh and Willow about getting signed to decaydance!" She raised her eyebrow confused "So? I don't see the problem" then her eye's widened and we looked at each other as we thought the same thing's their the biggest Fall Out Boy fans in our band and they were going to freak out!
