1Insightful
Let me cut off your fingers so that I cannot feel them,
They ghosted over my now scarred skin so long ago,
I want to drag a knife across your throat,
I want to laugh giddily at your blood,
I still see the blood splatters you left,
I remember it so clearly, on the door,
The floor,
You left me there, wanted me dead,
Just a kid, but weren't you too?
Supposed to be innocent?
Never. You couldn't comprehend innocent,
You hurt me... You... You destroyed me,
Yet I can still sit here and type these words,
But I type this words laced with problems I faced,
Some that I've fought and won, some I still battle,
Oh, God, don't you know how I gave up on faith,
Because of you,
And what you did to me,
And maybe, one day, I won't forget but I'll accept,
But please remember that
I've done you a favour,
But that won't stitch up my wounds.
