Your characterization of Jon is always impeccable, and I liked Renee's appearance in here as well. He's such a grumpy butt that's jealous over his dog, but it's adorable. I'm sure he would be that way with his dogs, too.
I love that song; it's so moving and beautiful, and worked perfectly with the fic. You made this so natural and vivid.
