A sanctuary, an abyss,
Where your ignorance is bliss,
Where I'm not suffocated by silence,
As I show off my defiance,
Take a look inside a bitter heart,
And breathe out words that fall apart,
Count your blessings then count your friends,
And count the scars before the timer ends,
Check your pulse and change your name,
Taste the remnants of my sorrow and pain,
Kiss to kill and take us away,
Kill to kiss and mean what you say,
Run off to an empty room, your tomb,
You quiver, aware of impending doom,
These words that I write as I struggle to fight,
Because I can't make it right, can't find the light,
I'm sorry for everything,
I'm sorry for nothing.
Where your ignorance is bliss,
Where I'm not suffocated by silence,
As I show off my defiance,
Take a look inside a bitter heart,
And breathe out words that fall apart,
Count your blessings then count your friends,
And count the scars before the timer ends,
Check your pulse and change your name,
Taste the remnants of my sorrow and pain,
Kiss to kill and take us away,
Kill to kiss and mean what you say,
Run off to an empty room, your tomb,
You quiver, aware of impending doom,
These words that I write as I struggle to fight,
Because I can't make it right, can't find the light,
I'm sorry for everything,
I'm sorry for nothing.
