Secret Correspondence:
Simone’s Notes:
To elope, most literally, merely means to run away and to not come back to the point of origination. More specifically, elopement is often used to refer to a marriage conducted in sudden and secretive fashion, usually involving hurried flight away from one's place of residence together with one's beloved with the intention of getting married. Today the term "elopement" is colloquially used for any marriage performed in haste, with a limited public engagement period or without a public engagement period. Some couples elope because they dislike or cannot afford an expensive wedding ceremony, or wish to avoid objections from parents, or religious obligations.
Kathleen rested her head on Nately’s chest in his bed. “I really missed you,” she whispered. He gently patted her on the head.
“I love you too,” he said back. The heiress kissed him on the chest.
“Why does Daddy hate you so much?” she asked. “He’s more than happy to give money to the army.” Kathleen cursed him under her breath. “He’s such a hypocrite.” Nately gently shushed her.
“Let’s not talk about him now,” he said.
“But…”
He put his finger to her lips. “Shhh.” His girlfriend drew her mouth closed. Nately gave her a warm smile.
“That’s better,” he whispered. Kathleen rested her head back on his chest.
“What can we do?”
Nately lifted her head to face him. “Marry me.”
His girlfriend gave him a strange look. “What?!”
“Let’s get married.”
“Wait… now?”
“Well, not now.”
Kathleen tried to understand his grand plan here. “Then… when?”
He ran his fingers through her hair. “You get to pick the date.” His words made her eyes grow wide.
“You’re not kidding!” she said with a gasp. Nately shook his head.
“Ireally do love you,” he said. “I love so much that I want to marry you.”
Kathleen tilted her head at him. “I’m sorry, but are you proposing to me? Because it didn’t sound like it.”
Nately raised an eyebrow at her. “Are you turning me down?”
Kathleen shook her head. “No.”
“So… is that a yes?”
She shook head again. “No.”
The solider blinked at her so confused. “Then… what are you saying?”
Kathleen looked him straight into his eye. “I won’t answer until you propose to me properly.”
Nately took hold of her hands. “Kathleen, will you marry me?”
She gave him a little peck on his lips. “Yes!”
Her fiancé pulled her in for a hug. “I am a lucky man.” Kathleen gave him a kiss on his collarbone.
“But what about my father?” she asked. Nately grabbed her by the shoulders and flipped her onto her back. She didn’t even get time to understand what he was doing.
“Sweetie?” the heiress asked, looking up. He smiled, shaking his head.
“I told you not to mention him tonight,” Nately said in a low voice.
“But we can’t avoid this issue,” Kathleen pointed out. “How are we going to deal with it?” Her lover pretended to think about this dilemma for a second. A huge grin spread across his face.
“We can elope,” he suggested. Kathleen’s eyes grew big when she heard that.
“Elope?” she repeated.
“That’s what I said,” the soldier answered. “Now what doyou say?” Kathleen stared at him silent for a number of seconds before she held onto his body.
“And then?” she asked.
“And then what?” Nately asked.
“How will we break it to my family?” his lover asked. Nately pressed another kiss to her lips.
“We’ll deal with that later,” he told her. “Right now, I’m going to push your father out of your head for tonight.” She was about to ask when he slid into her pussy. Instead, she let off a small whimper as he began to thrust.
“I love you!” Kathleen whispered aloud. “Be my husband!” He gave her another kiss in response.
“I will, my wife!” he shouted loud enough to fill the room.
