Nice. A bit morbid, but it makes you think, you know? I like how in the end very few people understood what point Hermione was trying to make. It really does seem that magical's have a mental block about anything muggle.
Really, Mr Weasley? You're confused by a rubber duck? Really? Also...how hard is it to pronounce a word correctly? Especially one that's been told to you a hundred times? Electricity is NOT that difficult to remember, honestly!
Anyway, it'd be interesting to see a follow-up where Hermione's fears actually come to pass. Maybe a muggleborn that escapes Umbridge's interment camps flees to the muggle world and spills the beans?Author's response
Thanks for the review; I was really trying to fit the story into canon. In reality, but the time of the DH epilogue, the magical world would have been revealed at some point due to all the cameras around the UK, if not, as you point out, the survivors of magical bigotry already spilling those beans in the late '90s!Hermione Asks Questions

This was a very interesting story with a lot of interesting pros n cons to whether the magical world was better than the mundane world.

ps, re: wolfsbane potion -- was that invented in the UK? If so, then yes, 'Hermione' forgot. When I wrote it, I was thinking it was more likely created elsewhere.
