Gerard sighed heavily as he pulled into his drive way, grabbing his coffee and heading inside. He walked inside and stopped right then and there. His jaw dropped and he dropped his bag. The drapes were laying on the floor, the cushions were on the counter, the couch was flipped over and the table was on the couch.
Gerard tried to find words as his daughter ran in giggling. She laughed as she tripped and fell, getting back up and running into Gerard. She immediately stopped and looked up at Gerard who was staring at his paint covered daughter. She squealed and ran off, going to her room.
Minutes later his husband came in muttering to him self. He bit his lip as he lifted the cushion and threw it, it hitting Gerard in the face. He sputtered and looked around. Frank looked up and smiled wide.
"Hey babe! How was your day?" He asked as he looked under the couch. Gerard finally found his words and widened his eyes.
"What the hell happened today?!" He asked as he looked around. Frank shrugged and looked under the drapes.
"Well, I saw on the news that they found this bug in Iraq that with one sting it cou-"
"I mean to the house, Frank!" He said shocked. Frank looked around with a blank stare.
"Oh... I was looking for my wedding ring." He said and turned over the couch. Gerard nodded and ran a hand through his hair.
"And our daughter is covered in paint, why?" He asked. Frank chuckled.
"Arts and crafts."
"Arts and crafts?"
"Yeah, I didn't want her to get bored so I gave her some paint." He said simply. Gerard looked over as their daughter ran in. She giggled and jumped around.
"Daddy I'm a rainbow!" She yelled happily. Frank clapped and grabbed her hands, twirling around laughing. Gerard stared before sighing.
"All I wanted was a kiss." He muttered. Frank giggled and grabbed Gerard around the waist, dipping him and kissing him passionately.
