Tanuki=Raccoon dog.
There is a difference between a normal Raccoon and a Raccoon dog.
And it's IMPORTANT to the Mythology. Why do you people insist on ignoring this?Author's response
Look I study Mythology so I know the difference I was merely simplifying it for those who don't
Next time how about you ask if someone knows the difference before you assume they don't.
