1 reviewNaruto finds himself in an ancient city. It is there he makes a new friend who's been stuck there for over 1000 years...
4Exciting
A young blonde haired, whisker faced boy in a bright orange jumpsuit walked back to his apartment with an aura of depression surrounding him. This is Naruto Uzumaki, and today was the day he was meant to take a graduation exam to see if he is able to become a ninja of his village.
This was his last year in the ninja academy. His first and last chance to become a ninja. But that damned clone technique backfired on him.
As a result he had failed.
He couldn't take it.
He couldn't take the jeering of his classmates.
The mocking laughter of Sakura; her sneeringly telling him that he would never had been able to be a ninja in the first place because of his constant goofing off and pulling pranks.
He just couldn't take it anymore. He left the academy once they were able to go home and quickly and made his way to his apartment. He had no family. No one at home to comfort him in his time of need. He was lonely. And he hated it. He hated it so damn much!
He didn't stop for nothing. Not even going to his favourite ramen restaurant. He couldn't deal with anyone at the moment. He even ignored Mizuki who wanted to talk to him. He just wanted to go home. Naruto knowing the streets of Konohagakure at the back of his hand got to his apartment within minutes. It wasn't that far away from the Hokage Tower. Or the ninja academy since they were two buildings connected to one.
With a heavy sigh Naruto pulled out his apartment key and unlocked the door; he opened it and walked through the door way. He closed the door once he was in and immediately headed to his bedroom.
He didn't bother to take off his clothes. He immediately fell on top of the covers and closed his eyes. With nothing to bother him, and too upset to do anything productive for the rest of the day Naruto quickly fell asleep.
X.X.X.X
The next thing he knew Naruto found himself standing in the middle of a ruined ancient looking city. Blinking the pre-teen looked around in all directions, confused and worried as he found no one else around. He looked up and instead of finding a clear blue sky, he found the skies to be a reddish orange with the clouds being the same colour. Oddly enough the colour reminded him of lava.
Scratching the back of his head in confusion he looked around in wonder. “What is this place?” The pre-teen asked himself, not expecting a response to his question.
To his surprise and astonishment, he got one in the form of a a feminine voice that sounded a few years older than him. “This is Agartha. A Legendary city that is deep within the planet's core.”
With a surprised look on his face Naruto quickly backed up when the shadows of the buildings' compressed into a shapeless blob in front of him. He was even more surprised when the blob began to take the shape of a 17 year old girl with long, straight black hair and a pair of glowing blueish yellow eyes and deathly pale white skin.
Her attire consists of a long, sleeved white dress that reached below her thighs. And a short blue cloak draped over her shoulders. In her arms was a worn and torn teddy bear that had dry spots of blood on it.
Naruto being at that age where he started taking interest in the opposite gender went a little red on the cheeks at how pretty she was. More pretty than Sakura despite her deathly pale white skin. The girl raised her eyebrows in amusement when she saw the pre-teens blush.
Getting his blush under control Naruto asked the girl, “Who are you?”
“My name is Samantha Maxis.” She introduced herself to him. Naruto found her voice had a bit of an foreign accent. “What is your name?”
“My name is Naruto Uzumaki.” He answered. He wasn't going to comment on how strange he found her name to be. He isn't rude. Well THAT rude.
“Pleasure to meet you, Naruto.” Samantha said with a respectful nod of her head.
“Why are you here? If you don't mind me asking?”
Samantha frowned at the question and gazed around their surroundings for a moment before returning her gaze to the pre-teen. “...I'm trapped in this place. I can't get out.” She answered gloomily.
Naruto was surprised and shocked. “You're alone?” Samantha nodded in confirmation as she hugged her teddy to her stomach. “How long have you been here?” He asked her, almost afraid of her answer.
Frowning in thought Samantha scratched the back of her head as she tried to recall how many years she had been in Agartha for. “Longer than I can count. It's been so long I barely remember what the outside looks like.” She eventually answered. To Samantha's surprise Naruto walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her in a hug his head easily coming up to her stomach.
She tensed up. Not having human contact for such a long time had made her uneasy. She got over it however and returned the hug with one of her own. Naruto shivered. She was unnaturally cold. But thankfully she wasn't to the point it was unpleasant.
“You're really pretty.” He mumbled into the fabric of her dress.
Samantha laughed softly and smiled down at him. “You're just saying that to make me feel better.”
“Is it working?” He asked, inquisitively looking up at Samantha. The 17 year old looking girl nodded and he smiled. “Good. No one should be alone. Especially someone as pretty as you.” The 13 year old said as he tightened his arms around her slightly.
Samantha's eyebrows arched. He sounded completely honest when he called her pretty. She was also curious at the solemn tone in his voice when he said no one should be alone. Was he like her?
She was about to ask him if he was alone. Only to frown sadly at something she dreaded to see. “It looks like you're going now.” She said with a saddened tone.
Naruto looked up at her confusingly before looking down at himself. He was transparent.
“I don't want to go!” He yelled looking up at Samantha imploringly. “I-I don't want to leave you here alone!” The sound of desperation in his voice was enough to tell Samantha that the boy was lonely as well.
Just as she is.
She saw an opportunity. Something that would benefit both her and Naruto. If this worked then he would have a friend and she would be able to get out of Agartha for the first time in a few dozen millennia and see the outside world.
Closing her eyes Samantha hugged him closer to her. Her decision made. Naruto shivered when he discovered she was cold. Almost as ice. She leaned down so her cheek was pressing against his head. Unseen by Naruto, her blueish yellow eyes brightened drastically while bringing one of her hands to the back of the boys head.
“Don't worry.” She cooed softly. “You won't be alone anymore.” The hand on the back of Naruto's head was suddenly covered in a green aura Naruto feeling an unknown energy entering his body was understandably taken by surprise and quickly pulled away from her. He reached the back of his head as he stared at her with wise confused eyes.
Samantha with her eyes back to their normal shade of glow looked at him with a soft smile. Before he could say anything he faded from Agartha completely, leaving Samantha alone in the clearing. Closing her eyes the teenage girl focused on the anchor she had given the boy and lightly pulled on it.
A large smile spread across her lips.
X.X.X.X
Opening his eyes Naruto leaned up on his bed. Blue eyes scanned the room searchingly before they narrowed in depression. He quickly realised he was back in his apartment. Not in the ancient abandoned city.
“Was that just a dream? A fake?” He asked himself quietly.
“No. It was most certainly not fake.” Naruto jumped and barely resisted the urge to scream like a girl, and frantically looked around the room when he heard Samantha speak. But there was no one there! Then like in the dream, the shadows in his room converged in one spot and compressed into a shapeless blob in front of his bed. And then the shapeless blob took Samantha's shape; her bloodied teddy bear was gone though.
Blinking Naruto squinted his eyes not sure if he was seeing correctly. “...Samantha?” He asked with hesitance in his voice.
Said girl nodded her head with a soft smile. “I told you won't be alone anymore.”
The teenage girl then looked around the room with a look of curiosity and a sense of excitement! She was actually in the outer world! She could still feel her connection to the Legendary City so that meant she is able to travel there and here any time she wanted. And thanks to tethering Naruto to her, she could feel his connection to the Legendary City too. So he would be able to go there any time he wanted.
Looking at the window with a look of curiosity she walked over to the window and tiptoed to peer outside. What she found caused her to frown a little. Everything looked different. Her memory while vague was good enough for her to recall what the buildings of her time looked like. Many of the buildings in her time were more modern. And were made out of metal. They were so tall that from the ground they appeared to be touching the skies. And they looked nothing like the ones she saw outside.
She could even see people in blue or black shirts some with swirl patterns on the shoulders, over a green flak jacket, with forehead protectors running around the place. Some of them were even preforming super natural feats such as leaping from roof top to roof top! Even walking on walls in some cases!
How much time had passed since she got trapped inside of that lonely place?
“How did you...?” Naruto trailed off with a very confused look on his face.
“Get here?” She finished for him looking over her shoulder to the teenage boy. “I used one of my abilities to anchor myself to you.” Naruto narrowed his eyes confusingly. When did she get the chance to do that? “In case you don't know, it was when I placed my hand on the back of your head. Allowing me to attach myself to you if you will and see the outside world again. Don't worry; there is nothing for you to be afraid of.” She said to placate him when she saw the worried look on his face.
The amount of Element 115 she injected him with wasn't enough to affect him in any way. Nor was it enough to give him any of the side effects. Such as memory loss...or death. But it was enough to allow her to tether herself to him, and travel between this world and Agartha whenever she wanted. Why she had never done this before Naruto came along is because no one else managed to get inside Agartha. Naruto was the first person in a long time to be inside of the Legendary City.
“You have abilities? Powers?” Samantha nodded her head with enthusiasm. “What can you do?”
“Well...” She drawled, tapping the corner of her mouth in thought. “I have many powers. One of them is a form of telepathy.” Seeing the questioning look on Naruto's face she elaborated for his benefit. “In simpler terms I can hear your surface thoughts as if you're speaking. But I cannot influence you in anyway.”
He looked interested. “Really?” He said softly with a thoughtful look on his face. He decided he was going to try it out. If it didn't work then Samantha was obviously lying. If not then she would have a pretty cool power.
“Can you hear me?” The whisker face blonde mentally asked.
He heard nothing for a few seconds.
Samantha smiled and without moving her mouth replied. “I can hear you.” He could hear her voice inside of his head. It was odd, but cool at the same time!
“That is sooo cool.” Naruto mentally said after a second of silence. He was looking at Samantha with wide adoring eyes. “Like, really, really cool.”
“I know, right?” He heard her reply as her lips spread in to a wide grin.
“Out of curiosity; can anyone else see you? Or is it just me?”
“Only you can see and hear me.” Samantha audibly answered back. Seeing as Naruto was no longer speaking through his thoughts. “For the moment anyway.” She added as an afterthought.
He furrowed his brow. “What do you mean by that?”
“Well if I wanted, I can make my presence known to other people. But they will never know where I am. Since I have not anchored myself to them I would be like a ghost to them. So there's a good chance you will pass right through me.” She laughed a little forcibly toward the end.
Narrowing his eyes a little the pre-teen got up off his bed and walked over to Samantha. The girl watched with curious eyes as Naruto stopped right in front of her. Naruto gave Samantha a look over before looking down at his hand. Samantha kept quiet. While she had a feeling on what Naruto was going to do, she was rather curious to see if he is going to carry it out.
In Naruto's mind, if Samantha is a ghost then that would mean she wouldn't be solid. And if she isn't solid then he would pass right through her. And he needed to see that was true or not. Samantha stared in silence as Naruto brought his hand up and lightly pushed it up against her abdomen.
The two of them blinked as they stared at the hand on her stomach; Samantha's mouth was gaped in surprise.
“You're solid.” Naruto stated the obvious.
Samantha was simply too stunned to care. She was solid. Solid! Could her injecting a small dosage of Element 115 into his system without his knowledge be the cause of this? While she was pondering on this Naruto meanwhile had a thought going through his mind.
It is pretty obvious that Samantha was solid. But from what she just said minutes ago, no one but him would be able to see or hear her unless she wanted them to. And since she is anchored to him there is a good chance she'll phase through other people. She could be his secret friend! A friend no one else but him would know about!
Sighing as he heard the front door being knocked on Naruto went to answer it; leaving a still surprised Samantha in the bedroom. A moment later she came back to her senses and sat down on the bed to wait for Naruto to come back.
A minute later the sound of the front door slamming shut vibrated through the apartment, knocking Samantha out of her train of thought and after noticing Naruto was not in the bedroom she walked out. She found a mildly irritated, yet incredibly satisfied looking Naruto walking away from his front door.
“Who was that?” Samantha asked looking between Naruto and the door as she heard someone on the other side shouting pretty nasty words at the whisker faced blonde.
“Someone from the ninja academy who came to gloat about becoming a ninja while I never.” Replied an irritated Naruto who looked at the door over his shoulder with a look of disdain. “Self-sustaining prick. Acting like he's better than everyone else.” He added in a mutter that was so low that Samantha had trouble making out what he was saying.
As Samantha trailed after the young blonde she frowned a little at the mention of this ninja academy. She heard of ninjas of course. But the ones she was familiar with were more stealthy and would stick to lurking in the shadows to achieve their goals.
It would seem this future version of ninjas are nothing like the ones she heard of. From what she could see from the people she saw when she was peering outside of the bedroom window they must be the ninjas. They're nothing like she heard about. Not to mention they were fairly primitive in some areas while advanced in others.
“You want me to take care of him?” She asked. The person on the other side was pretty annoying. Calling Naruto dope, a moron and annoyingly enough a weakling. She really wanted to give that kid so many bad nightmares that he would be afraid to go asleep.
Naruto negatively shook his head. “No. He's not worth it.” He paused when he was just an arms length away from his bedroom door. He turned around and looked down at her bare feet. “Aren't your feet cold?”
“No.” She said stopping next to him as she shook her head from side to side. “I do not feel the cold. Nor does it affect me.”
Naruto nodded as he took in her words. That's interesting to know. He wished he didn't feel the cold. It's terrible when there is no heating on during the night to keep him warm. Or when he tried to wash himself in the mornings by using the shower.
Both Naruto and Samantha went inside of the bedroom again. Mainly because Naruto didn't have anything to do, and he was too annoyed to go out there and do anything; and Samantha didn't want to leave his side.
The civilians and the students that managed to pass the graduation exam would likely taunt him, or whisper mean things behind his back if he were to go out of his apartment. And honestly after his failure to graduate Naruto had no patience to deal with that.
When the bedroom door closed the yelling was even more muffled and barely audible to them both. Something they were thankful for. Naruto seeing he was still wearing his sandal style shoes took them off before sitting cross legged on his mattress.
“I know you answered this already, but I was hoping if you could elaborate; who was that person at the front door cursing your name anyway?” Samantha questioned.
“His name is Sasuke Uchiha.” The blonde answered with a small annoyed frown, crossing his arms with a huff. “I don't like him. He acts like he is better than everyone else. Not to mention he pretty much ignores everyone that doesn't interest him. He's mean too.”
“Acting like he is better than everyone else? Sounds like he is pretty arrogant.” Samantha thought to herself with a small frown on her pale white face. “And from how he said Sasuke ignored everyone that doesn't interest him, it tells me that he is a loner by heart.” Her brow twitched irritation when the faint yelling was accompanied by fierce banging on the front door. “And he has a short temper too from what I can gather.”
Seeing the irritated look on Samantha's face Naruto said. “Ignore him. He'll go away, eventually.”
Samantha gave him a doubt filled look but conceded to his suggestion and went to sit on the bed. It's not like the boy outside of this apartment would be there for a long time would he?
X.X.X.X
2 hours later
A lying down Samantha and Naruto let out a relieved sigh when the banging on the front door and yelling stopped. Sasuke stayed there for 2 frickin hours. Between the hours where Sasuke went quiet Naruto always went to see if he was still there, or if he had went away. The fifth time – which happened around 20 minutes ago- Naruto decided he was just going to stop. The Uchiha was always there; sitting at the porch waiting. And every time he went to check Sasuke would kick up a fuss again.
Samantha was very close to giving that annoying pest something to be afraid of for the rest of his days. Like sending ghosts who died in a violent manner to haunt him. Or to give him nightmares that not even he would recover from. It was only thanks to Naruto she didn't.
“Finally he stopped!” Naruto exclaimed with relief evident on his face.
“Does this normally happen to you?” Samantha questioned the pre-teen. She crossed her legs and rested her hands behind her head like a pillow.
Naruto shook his head negatively. “Not all the time. But Sasuke is a jerk and he is like that to everyone.” He admitted as he glanced at Samantha from the corner of his eye. He frowned thoughtfully when he remembered something. “Hey, Samantha...”
Said girl looked at Naruto from the corner of her eye with a look of curiosity in her eyes. “Hmm?”
“When I hugged you in Ag.. Agar...”
“Agartha.” She interjected helpfully.
He gave Samantha a look of thanks for helping say the name he couldn't pronounce. “When I hugged you in Agartha you were cold to the touch. Why is that?” He asked her with a look of curiosity evident on his face.
She frowned thoughtfully as she looked up at the ceiling. After a full minute of contemplative silence the teenage looking girl finally answered. “If I am honest I have no idea why.” She moved one hand out from beneath her head and touched the side of her face. “I don't feel cold though.”
“Well you did say you don't feel the cold a few minutes ago. So it's obvious you won't feel it.” Naruto pointed out to her.
She laughed sheepishly. “Oh right.” She said, scratching the side of her head.
Naruto looked up to the ceiling and crossed his arms against his chest. “I wonder if you can feel heat? Maybe the reason you don't ever feel cold, is because your body got used to it.”
Samantha turned her head and stared at him. If she were honest to herself she is rather curious to know if she can feel heat too. His theory at her not being able to feel the cold, because her body is used to it is a sound one.
“That's a good point. Can we try and see?”
Naruto turned and looked at her directly in her faintly glowing eyes. “I don't see why not. What should we try though?” He asked her with a curious look.
Making a thinking sound Samantha rubbed her chin with the hand that was not beneath her head. “Why not body heat? You're naturally warm so there is a good chance it should transfer to me.”
Naruto scrunched up his face in thought at her suggestion before nodding. Having permission Samantha turned on her side and scooted over to Naruto, and wrapped her free arm around his waist and tugged on him lightly. Sighing shakily because he could feel her coldness being transferred over to him, Naruto scooted over to Samantha until their bodies were pressing together.
“Is it working?” Naruto asked her after a while, as he tried to keep himself from shivering. He was cold but thankfully wasn't freezing cold.
Samantha didn't say anything for a moment. She shook her head negatively. “No I don't feel any warmer.”
Naruto frowned and tried to think of something else for them to try and do. “Let's try something else?” He suggested to her.
Samantha blinked and gave Naruto a curious look. “What do you have in mind?”
“Let's get under the covers. With that over us you might feel yourself get a lot warmer.”
Samantha made a thoughtful sound as she went over his suggestion. Thinking it wouldn't hurt to try she agreed and the two of them sat up and slipped themselves under the covers. Naruto without her knowledge took a quick peak below her waist when she wasn't looking.
To his inner delight, the bottom of her dress had shifted up to her upper thighs when she moved on top of the bed, and he got a peak of her purple bikini styled panties and her long shapely thighs and legs.
Somewhere deep in the recesses of Naruto's mind where Samantha couldn't hear his thoughts, he thought: She has some nice legs, I wonder what else she's hiding underneath that dress?
After all; one does not simply...create the Sexy Technique and remain un-perverted. And Naruto, quite honestly, is an immature, perverted boy. He wouldn't have created the Sexy Technique if it wasn't for the Sex and Education class he and the others in his year had to take a while back – around a few months or so ago – that had gotten him interested in the opposite gender in the first place.
Now under the covers Naruto and Samantha lay on their side facing each other. Their arms were around each other, hugging in an attempt to share body warmth. As he was being hugged by Samantha, Naruto was trying to keep himself, once again from shivering because her being unnaturally cold. And he was succeeding at it thanks to the quilt over their bodies.
After a few minutes Samantha pulled him closer to her. With one arm around him, keeping him in place. He was hard pressed to not get an erection from feeling two fleshly orbs pressed up against his torso. But ultimately failed. He tried moving his hips away from hers to keep her from finding out about this.
However it was not to be as to his dismay he saw Samantha's eyes going wide upon feeling his erection.
Naruto held his breath as he waited for the look of outrage to appear on her face. After a quarter of a minute went by Samantha gave him a faint smile and moved her hips back so she wasn't pressed up against his erection. Her smiled changed to one that was playful and mischievous upon seeing the nervous expression on his face.
Naruto was understandably taken off guard at the look she was giving him. He would have thought she'd have been repulsed. He was pretty sure she would have hit him across the head for being perverted. That is what Sakura, his quickly becoming former crush, would have done in her place.
“You're not going to hit me?” He cautiously asked her.
Samantha wordlessly shook her head. Why would she hit him for something that is natural? If anything she took it as a compliment; as Naruto had found her attractive enough, even with her deathly pale skin, to be aroused.
Naruto let out a relieved sigh. He didn't want to know what Samantha is capable of doing to the person she's angry with. Then again with what he is going to try and do he may just find out. Closing his eyes Naruto tried to think of anything non-sexual in order to get his erection down.
Without opening his eyes Naruto asked, “Samantha, are you able to get warm now?”
“...Actually...I am.”
Naruto smiled and nodded. “That's good.”
Five minutes later Naruto opened his eyes now that his erection was semi-erect. He saw Samantha was looking up at the ceiling. He was rather curious about his new friend and wanted to know more about her.
“Hey, Samantha, do you mind if I ask you a few questions?”
She turned her head and stared at Naruto with a look of curiosity. “It depends. What kind of questions do you want to ask?”
“Questions about yourself. What you like and dislike. That sort of stuff.”
Samantha narrowed her faintly glowing blueish yellow eyes in thought to his request. “Am I allowed to ask you questions?” She asked.
“Sure. It wouldn't be fair if you weren't allowed to find out anything about me in return.”
Samantha nodded with a smile. “Alright! What do you want to know?”
“What age are you?”
“I have no idea.” She replied honestly. “I've been stuck inside Agartha for over 1000 years. You tend to forget minimal things like that.” That revelation downright shocked Naruto as Samantha didn't look anything beyond 17. Samantha humorously smiled and giggled at the look on his face as she answered his unspoken question. “Yes. I am over 1000 years old.”
Naruto's mouth dropped open in surprise. “No way! You're over a thousand years old? That's... you don't even look that old!” He exclaimed with awe.
Samantha smiled at the awed look on his face. “So answer me this; what is the most embarrassing thing that happened to you?” She asked him with curiosity in her voice.
He blanched in disdain and reluctantly answered. “I was bumped into Sasuke and I... accidentally kissed him. On the lips.” He chuckled embarrassingly at the dumbfounded look she was giving him. “Yeah. I accidentally kissed him on the lips.”
“Your first kiss was with the jerk?” She asked, referring to Sasuke and when he nodded with a look of embarrassment she shook her head with a look of amusement. She looked at him and said, “Well we can't have your experience at kissing ruined because of him now can we?”
Naruto gave Samantha a confused look at that and then his eyes slowly went wide. She leaned in to him until their lips were just inches away. Her eyes were half open until she leaned further in and her lips softly pressed against his. She moaned softly at the lip contact as if small bolts of electricity were being generated from the kiss. Her eyes glowed a bit as she deepened the kiss.
It seemed that he wasn't really expecting it at first, but he slowly began to kiss her back and soon, their lips opened and found their tongues entangled with one another. Samantha reached up with her hand and caressed Naruto's cheek as she pulled him in at the same time. After several minutes of kissing and tongue wrestling Samantha broke the kiss and licked her lips finding she enjoyed the taste.
That was her first kiss. And damn did she enjoy it!
Staring the blue eyed boy in the eyes she asked. “Was that experience good enough to replace the one you accidentally had with him?”
Naruto nodded wordlessly. Damn right that was a much better experience. While their kissing was uncoordinated and sloppy it was the best he ever had. And from how the glow of her eyes brightened a little during the kiss she enjoyed it immensely too.
Just as Naruto opened his mouth he was cut off from speaking when someone knocked on his front door with all their might. Sighing irritatingly Naruto gave Samantha a look that told her to stay put and threw the covers off of him and got out of bed to answer the front door.
Samantha lay flat on her back and stared up at the ceiling her fingers tracing lightly along her lips as she smiled faintly. That kiss had been rather enjoyable. Surprisingly tasty with flavour too. A few minutes of being alone, Samantha jumped startlingly when she heard Naruto speak telepathically to her.
“Samantha, one of my former teachers at the academy came by and told me there is a make up test to becoming a shinobi!” The blonde said quickly and evasively. “I'm going to be gone for most of the day to do this, so I'll be seeing you later.”
Samantha frowned a little at that. That was rather out of the blue. But then again what would she know? Her time period has been gone for centuries and the culture of this future may be very different to the one she is used to so what would she know?
“Okay. But be careful Naruto.” She replied telepathically. “I'll see you later in Agartha.”
“Okay. I'll see you there once this is done!”
Waiting two minutes to see if Naruto had anything else to say Samantha nodded to herself and closed her blueish yellow eyes. The lump that was on the covers became flat almost instantaneously as the girl disappeared from the world.
She would wait patently for Naruto to appear in Agartha.
She has all the time in the world.
X.X.X.X
5 hours later
A tired Naruto walked inside of his apartment. He was dishevelled and dirty as he returned from the make up graduation exam. It turned out to be a sham in the end however. He should have easily seen it from the start; stealing the forbidden scroll of seals from the Hokage tower and if he can learn a single technique out of it he would graduate.
That would have been impossible for him to do. But he managed it. He even knocked out the Third Hokage with the use of his Sexy Technique, which turned him into a scantly clad girl with smoke covering her private bits. And once he had gotten to a seduced location in one of the forests nearby, he learnt the Shadow Clone Jutsu.
A technique that would allow the user to create solid clones of yourself. They would be able to interact with anything around them and would have all the abilities you have. Anything they experience or learn then the user would learn and experience it too once they dispelled.
Although Naruto didn't look up that part in the description...
Then Iruka found him and after answering a bunch of questions, Mizuki came and things escalated from there. With him finding out about the Nine Tailed Fox being inside of him and after he beat up Mizuki with the use of his Shadow Clone Jutsu, Iruka gave him his forehead protector.
However since there really wasn't a make up exam and that he already failed his graduation exam, he refused to take it saying he didn't deserve it. Even though he took down a Chunin with the use of a B Rank technique. A technique that was so taxing on chakra that only a few people can use safely. So he did pretty much deserve that headband, even if he thought it didn't.
Yawning Naruto made his way to his bedroom and once he was inside he saw that his bed was vacant. He stared at the bed with a look of disappointment when he saw Samantha wasn't there. Until he remembered she would be meeting him in Agartha. Smiling he stripped himself down until he was in his boxers and moved to get himself under the covers. Shifting around to get himself comfortable in bed, Naruto closed his eyes and let sleep claim him.
He found himself back in Agartha and was wearing his clothes again when he opened them once more. Closing his eyes he tried to communicate with Samantha telepathically. “Samantha, can you hear me? I'm in Agartha now.”
“I hear you.” Naruto stiffened in surprise when he heard Samantha speak softly in his ear. He slowly turned and looked, and almost leaned away out of instinct when he saw her looking at him with her faintly glowing blueish yellow eyes. “I hear you loud and clear.”
“Sorry I took so long.” He apologised to her. “It turned out that the 'make up exam' I was told about was a sham from the beginning.” He added, before going off in a brief explanation as to what happened during the events that led him up to becoming a ninja. Making sure to keep himself from saying the really classified information, such as him being the host to the Nine Tailed fox as he was afraid she would act as the others in his birth place did around him.
Suffice to say, Samantha was angry that someone had tried to kill her new friend. And she made a mental note to pay this Mizuki person a visit and give him his own personal hell of her design. Having him fight against a horde of zombies that never seemed to end seemed like a good idea in her eyes.
Be the end of his tale Naruto and Samantha were now sitting on the ground. With Naruto sitting in between Samantha's legs, with her arms wrapped around his waist comfortingly. “So you had choose to not become a ninja?” She asked him for clarification.
“Yeah. I was told there is no such thing as a make up exam. So I choose not to become one. If I failed I failed; and you can only take the graduation exam three times in three years. And since this was my third attempt...” He trailed off.
Seeing the sedate look on his face Samantha decided to take his mind away from the mock up exam. “So what do you want to do now?” She asked him.
Naruto scrunched his face in thought. He hadn't thought on what he wanted to do. He was stumped. Then after a moment he finally came up with something. They didn't know each other that well, and considering that Samantha is his first friend – the others were merely acquaintances at best – he thought getting to know her a little more would be ideal.
“Let's get to know one another!”
Closing her eyes in thought Samantha tapped the corner of her mouth as she made a thinking sound. So pretty much what they were doing earlier? She opened them and looked down at the pre-teen in-between her eyes with a smile. “Alright let's do that!”
He smiled widely. “I'll go first; I am Naruto Uzumaki. I am 13 years old, I like ramen, the colour orange, and the few people who are nice to me. What I don't like is the 5 minutes it takes to make ramen; I hate being alone, and I don't like the way the people in Konoha act as if I don't exist. My dreams for the future... I don't know about that anymore...”
Samantha smiled as he listed off his likes and dislikes, and inwardly frowned in concern towards the end. So her earlier suspicion of him being lonely was true and from what he said, everyone where he lives ignores him and acts as if he doesn't exist.
That can't be healthy for a child growing up. Looking at him now Samantha was surprised he wasn't angry or hateful towards everyone. She certainly would have been.
Seeing Naruto looking up at her with an expectant look Samantha took that as her cue to go. “My name is Samantha Maxis. I don't know what age I actually am, but I guess you can say I am 17 years old. I like the colour purple, my teddy bear, and my doggy Fluffy! I like you too as you're my new friend! What I don't like the most out of everything else is being alone. As for my dreams for the future...” She paused and scratched the back of her neck in thought. “I don't have any at the moment.”
“You have no dream?”
“You stay here for as long as I have in Agartha and tell me if you have any dreams for your future.” She dryly replied to his question to which Naruto let out a nervous laugh. Then Samantha proceeded to ask him to say more about himself and he returned the gesture.

30 minutes later
Half an hour later both Naruto and Samantha were lying down beside one another, staring up at the reddish orange sky. She had told him bits and pieces of her past. Such as being injected by Element 115 – and making sure to keep out the fact she was experimented by someone she considered an uncle – and some of the powers she had that came with it such as telepathy and telekinesis.
But made sure she didn't tell him about her more dangerous powers, like the ability to raise and control the dead. She didn't want to scare off her first friend she had made after an eternity of loneliness after all.
Samantha had the behest of Naruto had just finished telling him the age she had been when she was first stuck in the Legendary City.
“So what you're saying is you have been in this place since you were around my age?” Said Naruto who was looking at Samantha with wide doe like eyes.
She nodded in confirmation. “Yep.”
“And because this place is somewhat magical in nature” he held back a scoff at the mention of magic. “you were unable to get hungry?”
“Yep.”
“And you stopped ageing when you were 17?”
Samantha nodded in confirmation once again. “Yes.”
Naruto nodded to himself absent mindedly as he looked up toward the sky. Then something occurred to him; if she was stuck in Agartha for over 1000 years, then how did she relieve herself? Or get new clothes for that matter?
He felt like palming himself on the forehead when he remembered what Samantha said earlier; she was unable to get hungry. So obviously she won't have to relieve herself. So he questioned her on her dress.
Samantha giggled and looked at her friend with an amused look. “I was unable to get new clothing so this dress is as old as I am. If not a little longer.” She revealed with admittance tingeing her voice.
Curiosity getting the better of him Naruto turned on his side and reached out to her. Samantha arched a brow when he reached for her sleeve and held it between his thumb and index finger. Rubbing the fabric of her dress between his digits the pre-teen was astonished when it felt brand new instead of worn like he had expected. He guessed being unable to age anymore had also included the dress.
“Feels like new.” Samantha heard him murmur.
“Well what did you expect? That it was going to tear at the slightest tug?” She rhetorically asked with a smile.
“To be honest; yes. I was expecting that.” He admittingly replied as he let go of her sleeve. “But I'm glad it didn't tear. I would hate to have ruined your only piece of clothing.” He added before asking her a question that was relevant to their original conversation. “What does Element 115 do exactly?”
Samantha cluelessly shrugged her shoulders as she looked back toward the reddish orange sky above. “I do not know. Not even I, despite how long I have lived, know of its full capabilities. What I do know is that it can make you younger, healthier, stronger and faster etc. It can also give you powers such as telekinesis and telepathy.” She replied, answering as best as she could to the question.
“And from what you did to me earlier you can also transfer it to other people.” Naruto added on as she had missed out on including that to the list of abilities.
“Oh yeah! Thank you for reminding me of that!” She exclaimed before she pushed herself up so she was sitting with her legs crossed. Naruto quickly sat up as well and looked at his friend. “Do you want to be more like me? You would likely be able to do some of the things I am able to do.” She asked him, trying to tempt him with having powers similar to her own.
Narrowing his eyes Naruto looked up to the reddish orange sky and thought of the pros and cons of her offer. On one hand he would be more like his friend, and he would be able to move things with his mind, not to mention he would be able to read the minds of other people. And from what she said earlier, those who were injected with Element 115 would be healthier, stronger and faster.
The only downside he could think of was him regressing in age. He didn't know how far back his age would go however. So there is a potential danger there.
He looked at Samantha and nodded to her offer with acceptance. Samantha smiled at his decision to take her offer and reached up to his head. Naruto blinked when she suddenly placed her hand on top of his head. Her blueish yellow eyes glowed and suddenly when he felt a trickle of energy entering his body through his skull. It started slow at first; and the overall flow of power entering his body began to increase in speed in a steady and controlled manner.
His started to convulse when the power Samantha injecting into him suddenly increased with no warning. It was violent, akin to a dam suddenly breaking. He would have collapsed to the ground if it weren't for Samantha's now glowing green hand holding him in place.
“I am sorry, Naruto. But you have to endure it.” Was all the pre-teen heard before blacking out.
X.X.X.X
After an undetermined amount of time a groaning Naruto woke up. He bared his teeth as he brought his hand to the top of his head. There was a throbbing sensation on top of his skull. It was a minor annoyance to him at best, but still an annoyance. Opening his eyes Naruto leaned his head up and looked around.
He was back in his bedroom. Sitting up and throwing the covers off of him he turned on the mattress so his feet can touch the ground. Taking his hand away from his head the blonde pre-teen got off the bed and walked to the window and peered outside. The sun was going down,
Turning around Naruto walked to the bedside table to see what the clock said.
7.00pm
“You're awake.” Naruto turned around and saw a shapeless blob made of the shadows in his room taking the shape of his friend.
Samantha had a worried and concerned look on her face. “How do you feel? Do you feel any different about you?” She asked as she looked him over with concern. Pointedly ignoring the fact that Naruto was wearing nothing but his boxers.
“How long was I out for?” The pre-teen asked with a question of his own. dismissing her own questions momentarily.
“You were unconscious and unresponsive for four hours.” Was her answer, to which Naruto nodded absent mindedly. “How do you feel, Naruto?”
“I've got a splitting headache. Other than that I feel fine.” Samantha was very relieved to hear that. The amount of Element 115 she had put into him was enough to kill a man. And if that person didn't die from the large amounts of Element 115 in their bloodstream, then they would either suffer or benefit from its side effects.
So far there was, thankfully, no changes to Naruto's physical state. His mental state on the other hand was an entirely different matter, since she is unable to get inside the deep recesses of someone’s mind. The brief conversation she's having with him is giving her insight to his state of mind; and so far there was nothing wrong with him. Which was somewhat of a relief. She would hate to see his personality to have changed over night because of her.
“The mild headache is not unusual. It will pass momentarily.” She could vainly remember having mild headaches after Edward Richtofen would inject a large amount of Element 115 into her bloodstream.
Naruto nodded at the information and moved to sit down on his mattress. The headache was irritating him. After a few minutes went by the headache went away just as Samantha said it would. Sighing in relief Naruto got back to his feet and moved away from his bed before turning around to face the furniture.
“Do you want to test out your power?” Samantha asked Naruto when she saw him looking at his hand with curiosity.
“Yeah. I do. What do I have to do?” He asked looking up at Samantha expectantly.
Humming she rubbed her chin as she looked around the room for something he can practise with. She quickly spotted the untidy covers on his bed and filed that away for later. That would be easy enough for him to try his powers on but if she couldn't find anything else then she'll use that.
Looking at the ground Samantha spotted his clothes lying on the ground in a messy pile. She smiled and looked down at Naruto.
“Why don't you try taking your clothes off the floor?” She suggested pointing at the articles of clothes. “Hold out your hand towards the clothes. You will find you can focus a lot better if you had a hand/eye coordination helping you.” She advised him.
Nodding Naruto looked at his clothing and with a look of intense concentration he raised his hand toward his apparel. For a moment nothing happened. After a full minute of nothing happening Naruto lowered his arm to his side and exhaled with a sense of disappointment.
“Try concentrating on what you want to do.”
Looking up at Samantha with an arched brow Naruto slowly nodded in silence and looked back at his clothes. Raising his hand at his apparel Naruto followed Samantha's advice. To his surprise his clothes floated off of the ground defying gravity and logic itself.
Samantha herself was surprised at how quickly he got it and a quick look at his eyes revealed they were glowing a bright yellow. Just like hers would whenever she used her powers.
She thought it would take him a few more tries to get it down completely. But instead it took him two tries to get it right. She then directed him to try and fix the covers on his bed. To her surprise he managed to do that literal mental task just as quick.
Wanting to test something she used her own telekinesis to untidy his covers and put his clothes in various places in the bedroom before going on to tossing the pillow across the room. She then asked him to try it again, but this time he wasn't allowed to hold out his hand to help him concentrate, and he had to fix his covers while gathering his clothes in one pile at the same time.
“Why am I doing all of this at the same time?”
“It's just to see if you're able to do multiple things at once. Because if you can then your powers may be on the same level as mine.”
“How do you figure that?”
“It's because I remember being able to do this for the first time with little difficulty. If your power is on the same scale as mine, then you doing this should be child’s play.”
Naruto looked at her with uncertainty before looking around at his slightly untdy bedroom. His pillow was on the floor. His clothes are in different areas of the room. Plus the covers on his bed was backed to being untidy. Samantha expected him to put them back in their original places at the same time?
He shrugged he'd might as well it couldn't hurt to try it out. He had memorised where his pillow and clothes were so this should be easy.
Naruto looked at his bed and narrowed his eyes with intense concentration. To Naruto sense of accomplishment, the covers on his bed started to lift and straighten out. From behind his clothes and pillow were currently defying gravity.
Looking around the room Samantha couldn't feel but feel astonished at the sight before her. Multiple objects were being moved at the same time. And Naruto only looked at them once! In less than a minute everything was back to where they were, and Samantha was looking at Naruto with a proud smile.
“That was surprisingly easy.” He murmured lowly in surprise. He thought moving multiple things would be a lot harder than that, or at least feel some sort of strain on his mind. But there wasn't. There was nothing like that at all.
“Did you feel anything at all? Any strain on your mind? Any difficulty when moving multiple things at once?” Samantha questioned with an intense look on her face.
Naruto shook his head. “No. I didn't feel anything like that. Why? Isn't that good?”
“It is good. Because that means you are similar to me in strength. If you weren't, then you might have found this to be a lot harder to do.” She spoke from personal experience. When she was 13 years old she had been able to control tens of thousands of zombies, create weapons out of thin air, and move around multiple perk machines alone. And that was before she had become a self declared master of her powers.
When she got trapped in Agartha her control over her power had increased drastically over the centuries. Not to mention she can now produce Element 115 almost naturally. It's why she was able to insert that large dose of Element 115 into Naruto.
If she wanted to, she could infect the entirety of Konoha with Element 115 and raise the dead as her new army before moving on to the other countries. If she wanted a head start she could just use her army of Hellhounds first. She had the numbers for it after all.
After a while the millennia old girl and the 13 year old sat on the edge of the bed. Naruto at the behest of Samantha was manipulating other things in the room to test the strength and limits of his telekinesis.
Almost everything in the bedroom was being levitated and moved around all at the same time while Naruto showed no signs of struggling or strain at utilising his power. His extra jump suits along with other attire were being taken out from his closet. His underwear was taken out of his cupboard, being unfolded and refolded. The lights in his bedroom was being turned on and off every five minutes.
His photos of his few precious people were also being levitated through the room. After a full 30 minutes of this Naruto had returned everything to where they belonged too.
Samantha happy with Naruto's progress enthusiastically wrapped her arms around him and pulled the pre-teen in a hug. He wasn't use to such contact, never having many of them in his short life, and as such he inhaled sharply and went stiff in surprise for a moment. When he realised she was hugging him he went lax in her arms and wrapped his own around her waist and squeezed her in a way to give himself comfort.
She wasn't as cold this time, he thought.
Feeling his grip tighten slightly around her waist Samantha smiled softly as she leaned down to rest her cheek on top of Naruto's head. This was the kind of contact she dearly missed when she was stuck in Agartha.
Her eyes glowed sinisterly as she recalled how she had ended up inside of that place. Damn that man. Damn those that had helped – knowingly or not - trap her inside of that city for all of eternity! All she was trying to do was kill everyone that was involved with that Organization.
The name escapes her though.
She still had her dog Fluffy and her puppies as companions though. But there was little they could do in terms of keeping her sanity intact. Having to talk to zombified dogs who are most likely unable to understand you, because they're dead being a huge factor, for centuries will put your sanity to the test.
There were times where her sanity deteriorated for a time because of a lack of contact with anyone else for a long period of time. She regained her sanity just days before Naruto appeared in Agartha.
Naruto getting uncomfortable with the strain on his neck and back, moved around so he could get himself in a more comfortable position. Samantha thinking he wanted go be let go, unwrapped her arms and allowed him to move around with more freedom, and shifted on the bed so she was further away from the edge and her back almost pressed up against the wall behind her. Her legs were positioned a few inches apart, so she was sitting in a similar manner to squatting.
Instead of doing what she was expecting him to do, which was move away and sit somewhere else on the bed, Naruto turned around and sat back down in a more comfortable place in-between her legs. Something she was not expecting but not unwelcome from him.
Wrapping her arms around the pre-teen again Samantha rested her chin on top of Naruto's head and closed her eyes with a small smile. Naruto and Samantha sat in that spot for the longest time. They were both happy and content. They weren't alone anymore.
X.X.X.X
One month later.
Naruto and Samantha were almost inseparable. She went almost everywhere with him, and when she wasn't, she would go learn as much about this world as she could.
While everyone spoke the English they wrote in kanji. A language that came from China and was used in Japan. She was unfortunately unable to read it. Or write it. To solve this problem she took the information she needed on how to read and write kanji from some poor sod who was in the Konoha Library.
As such she was, through this method, now able to learn to read and write in kanji and learn much about the way this world works. What she discovered had caught her interest greatly. This time period was very much different and the people were much more violent and destructive than the ones from her time line.
She was shocked to learn there had been 3 World Wars in the past century, with the most recent one having ended more than ten years ago.
There were also gigantic sized monsters known as 'The Tailed Beasts' and that their are nine of them in existence. While an interesting read, Samantha had deemed it not interesting enough for her to discover more about these beings.
Naruto was not idle during the month either. He had been trying to learn more about the powers Samantha had gifted to him on the first day they met. And he had jutted down a mental note of all the powers he had discovered.
Telepathy; he learnt this on the second day when he tried talking to Samantha. He discovered it when he was experimenting.
Telekinesis; he learnt this on the first day he had got his powers and is now quite adapt at it.
Mind Control; he learnt this a week after he got his powers. He tested out its effectiveness on weak willed people – which are plentiful within the Hidden Village - and was greatly successful. Making people embarrass themselves in front of other people by making them act like chickens was a good, yet childish way for him to get back at them for all the times they ignored him.
Teleportation; an ability he had discovered the 15th day into the month. That ability made getting away from his perusers whenever he pranked a lot easier.
Another ability he discovered is infecting and raising the dead. He learnt this by killing Tora the cat, making sure it had an unfortunate and fatal encounter with a dog, before reviving it when no one else was around and then killing it again.
There are plenty of more abilities; but they were simply to numerous for him to remember by heart. Those five were just the primary ones he knew. Along the way to properly use his powers with Samantha's help Naruto had discovered something else; every time he used his powers his appearance would slightly change.
It was nothing major if one got past the pair of glowing yellow eyes.
The only difference being his skin losing a bit of its colour. Making him look as if he hadn't been out in the sun in quite some time. Another thing that Naruto managed to achieve was finding a way to get into Agartha physically. Something that Samantha was happy about as he could visit her any time he wanted too without having to resort to waiting at night to sleep.
However there have been several incidents throughout the month. Just a day after he had refused to take the headband, the Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi came 'round to Naruto's apartment to talk to him. He was scarily adamant on wanting Naruto to be in the ninja forces. So much so that Naruto had to have Samantha help him skilfully refute Hiruzen's offer.
Another incident that happened were the blank masked individuals who tried to kidnap him from his apartment in the dead of night several times. Each time they failed thanks to the combined power of Naruto and Samantha.
It got irritating to the point Samantha hunted them down and revealed herself to them. She then proceeded to mind rape them all to the point where they ended up in a coma they could not wake up from. She then dumped them all at the hospital in the dead of night and left them all there to be found the next day.
That was an interesting day if he ever saw one. Samantha being a ghost to everyone else apart from Naruto, was watching and was highly amused when the Yamanaka Clan discovered their minds were so broken they weren't able to piece together what had happened to them. But they knew they worked for some old man called Danzo. Someone who, like Hiruzen, was old enough to be put into an old people's home.
Those were Samantha's words, not his.
She immediately took a great disliking to the man the first time she saw him. And the more she heard about him the lesser she liked him. And so in her past time, she would mess with him by making the man hear and see things that weren't there; slowly bringing him close to insanity.
Eventually his bouts of insanity had forced him into retirement. And the blank masked ninjas had stopped attacking him after that.
Other than that nothing big had happened during the month. Something he was grateful for.
X.X.X.X
It was morning and the streets of Konoha was bustling with activity. Naruto was walking through the busy streets alone with no destination in mind. With his hands in his pockets and a distant look on his face he was seemingly not paying attention to anything around him. He ignored the way everyone seem to be avoiding him like a plague. He ignored the people who were whispering things about him behind his way when they thought he wasn't listening.
He had a detached expression. Not seemingly caring about everyone.
“You shouldn't have to take this lying down you know.” Naruto heard Samantha say inside of his head. Said girl was walking beside him and was glaring at the civilians with ominous glowing eyes.
Naruto glanced at his friend the curves of his lips twitching. “I know. And at one point I would have lashed out at them. But if I did, then, that would make me no better than these people.” He really loved being able to talk to Samantha just by thinking it. While it would have been funny to let people think he was going insane by talking to nothing but thin air, he didn't want the Hokage to get worried and bring him in with suspicion of him talking to the fox.
It would've been too much trouble and a waste of his and Samantha's time. And if there was one thing he hated it was wasting his and Samantha's time.
Naruto narrowed his eyes; he had a feeling there was someone watching him. He hoped it wasn't who he thought it was. “Is there anyone following me?”
“Yes.” Was Samantha's annoyed reply. “That annoying pale eyed girl is 'following' you again. And I'm using the word 'following' loosely. Seriously, why won't she just grow a damn spine and stop 'following' you like a lost puppy?”
Ah. Hinata Hyuga. The odd pale eyed girl that stalked him. All. The. Damn. Time. All day everyday. He didn't even know about it until Samantha told him about it after the first week. At first he was surprised and slightly embarrassed that she followed him around without him noticing. But after a while it got tiring. And then annoying. And then frustrating. He didn't even know anything about the girl except for her name and that she's an heiress to one of the major clan's of the Hidden Leaf Village.
“...Really?” He whined. He glanced at Samantha from the corner of his eyes. “Her again?”
“Yes.” She looked at Naruto with a brow twitching in irritation. “Do you want me to make her go away?”
Naruto looked toward the ground and sighed. The girl was annoying him with the constant stalking. The only time she wasn't doing that was whenever she was doing her missions which thankfully was almost all the time. However, this was the 20th time Samantha pointed out her presence to him and truth be told it was getting a little annoying and tiring. It didn't help that her damned eyes allowed her to see through buildings and give her a 380 degree view. So getting away from her was a lost cause.
He'd have to resort to drastic measures.
“Yes. Please.”
“Do you want me to make an appearance?”
“Yeah. I'll lure her some place where no one would be able to see you.”
Naruto stopped in the middle of the road and stretched his arms over his head. Groaning Naruto lowered his arms to his side and turned to a corner where he would be out of sight. Hinata, his stalker, stealthily followed him a minute after he went out of her line of sight. She had her bloodline activated to keep track on him. To make sure she wouldn't lose his trail. After getting a fix on him she deactivated her bloodline and continued to follow him. He would be entering a park within a few minutes.
Almost 10 minutes later we find Hinata following Naruto's trail to one of the secluded parks that was part of Konoha's establishment. She looked at her surroundings in confusion. Wasn't he just here?
“So you're the one who keeps following him!” Hinata's pale eyes went wide with surprise at the sound of a young woman's voice. Before she could react she was suddenly and unexpectedly shoved up against a tree and held there.
She instinctively activated her Byakugan and searched for her assailant only to come up with nothing much to her confusion. She saw Naruto, who was a bit away, was walking in their direction. She had a glimmer of hope in her eyes. Maybe he'll help her again? Like he did back when she was being bullied?
“Using those pathetic eyes to try and see me?” Hinata heard the young woman say with a scoff. “Please. Like you would be able to see me! Why are you stalking Naruto?”
“I-I-I am not s-s-stalking- ah!” Hinata tried to defend herself but was cut off when she was pressed further into the tree bark.
“You were following him everywhere he went at a distance for a month. That. Is. Stalking.” Hinata's eyes went even wider when the shadows around her converged in a single spot and compressed into a shapeless blob a yard in front of her.
The blob took the shape of a 17 year old girl with long, straight black hair and a pair of glowing blueish yellow eyes and deathly pale white skin.
Her attire consists of a long, sleeved white dress that reached below her thighs leaving her petite feet bare, and a short blue cloak draped over her shoulders.
She was currently glaring at Hinata with a scowl and had her arms crossed. Showing the lavender haired girl she wasn't even being held up against the tree physically. And that frightened her. Severely.
Just who was this girl?
Said girl scowled even further. “Well? Justify yourself! Tell me the reason why you're following my friend!”
“Samantha! Where are you?” Hinata's heart soared. It was him! Naruto was here! She frowned confusingly he knew this girl? How? When she stalked him she never found him with anyone else.
“Over here Naruto!” Samantha called out. Not long after Samantha called out to him Naruto came into her line of sight. His eyes, much to the surprise and fear of Hinata, was glowing a blueish yellow. The same as Samantha's.
Naruto stood beside Samantha and gave Hinata a dispassionate look. “Did you find out why she kept on following me?” He questioned leaning his head toward Samantha as he glanced at her.
Samantha returned the glance. “She didn't answer yet.” She said and stared at Hinata with a look of distaste. “So? You wanna tell us why you've been stalking him for the past month?”
She remained silent. Her bloodline deactivated. Their eyes scared her. Unnerved her. She made quick glances at her surroundings hoping that someone would come to her rescue.
“See what I mean?” Samantha looked at Naruto with a look of annoyance. “Completely silent.”
Naruto stared back at his friend with his brows arched. “So what should we do now?” He asked her.
“I should kill her.” That made Hinata yelp out in fear. Samantha glanced at the lavender haired girl with a light frown. “I can make it look like an accident.”
“No. Let her go.” If Samantha was surprised she didn't show it. She did however glance expectantly at Naruto from the corner of her eye. “Even if she talks no one is going to believe her. You don't technically exist after all.”
“But we can't take that risk.” She pointed out to him. “You know how these so called ninja react to something they do not understand. So what should we do?” She asked before looking back at Hinata narrowed eyes.
Naruto gave Samantha a smile. “You have more experience in using these powers than I do. I think you'll figure out a way to keep her quiet about this.” He looked at Hinata who by now was misty eyed and close to crying. He stared with a dispassionate look. “If she doesn't keep quiet... Fuck with her head.”
Samantha's eyes lit up with joy. Literally. “Alrighty!” She chirped with a smile, and, as Naruto walked off toward the exit she turned to Hinata and narrowed her eyes sinisterly. Hinata swallowed audibly with a nervous look as Samantha walked up to her. “This is how we're going to do things...”
While Samantha was beginning her session with his unwanted stalker, Naruto was walking out of the park whistling a merry tune with his hands in his pockets. His eyes were no longer glowing and were now back to their original colour. Thanks to Element 115 no one would be able to know what had happened to Hinata if she decided to be...difficult. He didn't even know her that well. Heck he didn't know a thing about the girl except she was part of a major clan and was an heiress to said clan. Other than that he didn't know anything else about her.
He couldn't bring himself to care. He was apathetic at best. He was uninterested to anyone apart for Samantha nowadays, and he didn't care about that. Samantha was the only person he can truly consider a friend.
Sasuke was a douche bag when they were in the ninja academy together, and he still is one as a ninja, so he can't really consider him a friend. Shikamaru, Kiba, Choji and Shino were merely acquaintances to him and they never really hung out that much to be called friends.
Samantha Maxis, a girl who's physical body is trapped in Agartha, is more of a friend to him than the people he was in the academy with. Sure she was lonely and anchored herself to him just so she wouldn't be stuck in Agartha, but she actually made the effort to try and get to know him. She stayed with him too when she could've just left the second she got out! But she didn't.
Plus she made him more like her and helped with controlling his newly found powers!
A month ago before Samantha was in his life, he would have tried to hang out with everyone and get to know them. He would have pestered Sakura for dates without end too. Now he just finds her bitchy and annoying. Along with Ino as well.
Samantha is a lot better in terms of personality. Better looking too in terms of appearance. Samantha would knock the two of them out of the water with her personality and looks alone. Not to mention she can be pretty wise and understanding. If he had a choice to save Sakura, Ino or Samantha from death, he would choose Samantha over the banshee and the loud mouthed gossip bitch.
Sakura and Ino can both die and rot in hell for all he cared.
A month ago Naruto wouldn't have this sort of mentality. But after being injected with Element 115, - also known as Divinium - a substance that was known for its side effects of amnesia, death, reanimation, regression of age and many more (most of which are deadly and otherwise fatal if your body's immune system is not able to adapt to it) he was slowly undergoing changes.
Changes that were minor and unnoticeable. And something that Samantha had not taken notice of. And because Naruto had not been in contact with any one else lately they do not know any of this.
A month of having the Divinium affect his mind had made him slightly more mature. More aware of the opposite gender. More realistic and less ideal. Not to mention with Samantha helping him he was more smarter and had more common sense too. He was less patent with people as well and was easily irritated.
He was on his way back to his apartment now that Hinata had ruined his morning stroll. Hopefully with Samantha with her it would be the last time she would ever do that.
“That girl should not be bothering you anymore.” He heard Samantha say in the back of his head with satisfaction in her voice. Naruto to his credit didn't jump in surprise when he heard her voice.
“What exactly did you do?”
Samantha was silent for a moment. “She wasn't going to keep quiet, and from what I gathered when I read her surface thoughts, she was going to tell your Hokage and many other people about me 'influencing' you.” That was slightly concerning to him. Before he could respond his friend darkly added. “So I did what you told me to do.”
X.X.X.X
Hinata laid flat on her back at the base of the tree. Her empty pale white eyes were staring blankly towards the sky. Her mouth was slightly agape, as a thin trail of blood ran from her nostrils and ears. Looking down at the incapacitated girl was Samantha. She had a sickeningly wide, sinister smile as she stared at the helpless Hyuga girl.
She giggled before vanishing from the area to return to her friend, leaving the Hyuga heiress alone in the clearing to be discovered.
X.X.X.X
Naruto glanced to his right as Samantha appeared beside him from his shadow. How she managed to do that he had no idea. “I fucked with her head.” She continued looking at Naruto with a disturbingly wide grin. “Severely. She won't be functioning normally any time soon.”
“So by 'severely'...”
“She's currently incapacitated. And the likelihood of her recovering from it is very unlikely.”
If there weren't other people around he would've hugged her right then and there. Instead he settled with a pleased smile. “That is one less annoyance to deal with.” He mentally stated.
“Yes.” She said as her eyes narrowed sinisterly. “One less annoyance indeed.”
Naruto and Samantha both hummed a merry tune as they walked their way back to the apartment. They reached the building in record time with no one there to imped their walk and went inside. Samantha quickly went to the couch and sat down with her legs crossed. Naruto sat down beside her and crossed his legs as well.
“Well today was rather... bland.” Naruto stated.
Samantha nodded in agreement. “And it was going fine up until the point of you being stalked.”
“Well at least no one else managed to bother us.”
“Bother you, you mean?” She corrected him.
“No, I mean bother us. While you're not visible to everyone else in Konoha, we can still be bothered by people. Just like that girl disturbed our walk around the village.” Replied Naruto, referring to the lavender haired girl whose name he cannot recall, that was stalking him from a distance.
Samantha let out a sound of realization and nodded acknowledgedly. The two of them sat there, in silence, with nothing to do. Naruto tried to think of something to do in order to pass the time.
After 10 minutes of thinking, he came up with something. Something he and Samantha hadn't done since the first day they met. He turned to her and said, “Hey, Samantha.”
Said girl turned to him with a questioning gaze. “Hmm?”
She was taken by surprise when Naruto suddenly leaned up and kissed her full on the lips. Despite the unexpectedness of it, she didn't pull away; instead she reached up to caress Naruto's cheek as she leaned in to deepen the kiss. She moaned softly as she lightly prodded her tongue against his lips, asking for permission to enter his mouth.
Naruto partially opened his lips and Samantha's tongue rushed inside. Both tongues briefly fought one another, before Naruto managed to dominate hers and forced his own tongue into her mouth, dominating the kiss. Samantha sucked wantingly against the muscle getting a soft moan out of him.
Samantha's half closed eyes were more brighter as to show her enjoyment of the kiss. Naruto's eyes were glowing as well, and were only getting brighter with each passing second.
The two pulled apart, gasping for air as their lungs were running out of oxygen. After getting enough oxygen in her lungs Samantha stared at him and lunged forward, locking lips with his again and entering another tongue battle. Putting his hands on Samantha's hips Naruto repositioned her until she was straddling his lap. He did all this without breaking away from the kiss.
The coldness of her physique no longer bothered him. Having gotten used to it. He still felt a slight chill whenever she touched him but it wasn't to the point where she felt cold as ice.
Another 10 minutes went by, only separating once to refill their lungs. Another five minutes went by and they pulled apart one last time and gazed at one another, a thin strand of saliva connecting their lips.
Blueish yellow eyes that were Samantha's were now glowing yellow, including the whites of her eyes, and her cheeks were slightly flushed. Likewise Naruto's eyes were the same as hers and his skin had lost a bit of its colour. A result of him tapping into his 115 based abilities.
“What was that about?” She asked as she wiped the strand of saliva off her lips. While she didn't mind the French kissing, in fact she enjoyed it immensely, she did wonder what had brought it on.
Naruto shrugged cluelessly and took his hands off her waist and crossed them against his chest. Samantha likewise took her hand away from his cheek and crossed her arms beneath her breasts, making them look bigger than they were. He smiled up at her as his eyes went back to their normal blue. Her eyes too went back to their normal blueish yellow.
“I just wanted to do that again.” Was his answer.
Samantha gave him a dry look. “So you decided to kiss me without my consent?” She questioned in a dull tone.
His smile grew wide and knowing, “You didn't exactly push me away when I did.” He replied pointedly. His smile grew wider as he added, “And if I recall you leaned into it instead of pulling back. So it's not as if you were against it.”
“True.” She said acknowledgedly. No sense in denying it. She had done what he said, so, what was the point in denying it?
Getting off his lap Samantha moved to sit down beside him. They were slightly out of breath from their activity and were catching a breather before they do anything else.
“So have you learnt anything?” Naruto asked, knowing Samantha had been researching when she wasn't with him.
She nodded in verification. “I heard there is a major event called the 'Chunin Exams' coming here soon. Apparently ninjas from the major 'Hidden Villages' are going to be partaking in this major event.”
Naruto was curious. “Is that so? Do you know when the exams are going to begin?”
“Sometime during this week I heard.” She replied with a shrug. “So expect to see a lot of foreign people. A lot of them would be from neutral or allied villages though.”
Naruto nodded thoughtfully. A lot of people coming to this event would be major. Security would be at an all time high and potential spies would be partaking in this event. However, the exams happening here also means he would be able to...shall we say...pull off an escape, with them being so preoccupied with keeping the peace.
If he was going to get out of this dump then he would have to do it during the exams itself. It was one hell of a risk. But it's a doable one.
Naruto looked at his friend. “Samantha...” Said millennium year old girl looked back with a questioning expression. “...Do you think we'd be able to use this event to our advantage and get out of Konohagakure?”
“We can if we're smart about it. But what's stopping you from doing it now?” It was a legitimate question, and it was a question Naruto was able to easily answer.
“Simple: with the exams being a major event here, the ninjas are going to be on guard and on watch. Getting out of Konohagakure right now would give us more problems than I need. But when the exams are under way the ninjas will be too busy making sure no one causes an international incident.”
Samantha nodded appraisingly. He did bring up some good points. With these foreign ninjas, neutral or allied, coming into the city sized village, the ninjas of Konohagakure would be on watch. His greatest chance of getting out would be when the Chunin exam is taking place.
“I take it you have a plan?”
Naruto nodded and started to lay out his plan to her.
