Snape Meets Jormungandr

I'd be curious to hear what "glorious purpose" Loki is burdened by. And exactly HOW large is Jormungandr? You just said he was a large snake.Author's response
In the Marvel movies, Loki has said he is burdened by glorious purpose, but he never explains what that is. The Midgard Serpernt, when fully grown, encircles the world according to myth. However, assuming Jormungandr is a baby going through the teething stage, he is effectively the size of a large snake i.e. a boa constrictor or python.
