casts uncertainty around the usefulness of the method of counterinsurgency in 2009 and Bergdahl’s decision to leave a military base in Afghanistan.
The podcast describes Bergdahl in imagining his system being a quirky although committed soldier who was not by yourself was wrongly singled out for abuse for poor behaviour.

The podcast also calls into question what the official actually expected under his order of the soldiers, and whether Bergdahl was able to differentiate between sarcastic comments created by an excellent official about military mayhem.
Bergdahl declined a chance to create a plea agreement which could have confined his phrase, and offered 25 hrs of interviews to filmmaker Mark Boal which were used for the podcast.
Thursday the most recent podcast, which aired, identifies Bergdahl like a “philosopher gung-ho and nerd” “squared- knight who learned the Afghan Pashto tribal vocabulary as opposed to drink with fellow troops and heard traditional music and talk about women and sex. He eliminated his mattress to sleep having a tomahawk on his torso on bed springs that were bare.
“He desired adversity,” mentioned a soldier.
Bergdahl told Boal he was dedicated to along- term profession.
“I desired to be considered a protection company afterward. I needed people to get me seriously. I desired togo into Special Forces,” he said.
