Movement. Above him, a white figure, holding a bag of liquid. "Mello... Near..."
"What's he talking about?" A woman's voice, strange yet familiar.
"Nothing important, I'll take over here." The voice... He turned his head, tried to focus.
A shape he knew, looming over him. Bag... pole... by his head. He struggled to speak. "Chief Yagami... Light... is Kira..."
Very kindly - "You have to stop saying that, Ryuuzaki."
"Chief Yagami... your son..." The room began to swim even more out of focus.
"I know, Ryuuzaki. I knew the risks when I adopted him, but he is my son now."
