Okay... The vampires bring a newbie lycan into their stronghold and then decide to let her go? That's a bit farfetched. Maybe if they'd tagged her with a homing device in the hopes of flushing out other lycans, but the dealers wouldn't have risked taking her to the mansion to do that.
To my understanding, the Corvin search wasn't about a prophecy of any kind. The lycans came up with that on their own after learning about genetics and viruses.
