"Mom, we have to go!" Goten yelled up the stairs.

He, Gohan, and Ryoka were standing by the front door, waiting for Chi-Chi. Today was the day of the World Tournament.

Gohan had trained Ryoka, Goten, and Videl as much as he could. Now they'd find out just how much good it would do.

"I'm coming," Chi-Chi said, walking down the stairs. "What are you taking your backpack for, Gohan?"

"Oh, uh, I," Gohan stumbled. "I'm just taking a couple books, just in case."

"Oh alright," Chi-Chi said, following the three outside.

"Well," Gohan said. "I guess we should go."

He picked up Chi-Chi and took off, Goten and Ryoka following.

The island on which the World Tournament would be held was overflowing with people. Goten was having a blast pointing out everything to Ryoka.

"Look at that! And that! Oh! Over there!"

Gohan was walking beside his mother, looking around. There were a lot of men showing off their muscles, telling pretty girls how they'd win the tournament for them.

"Gohan!"

Gohan turned around to see Videl with Sharpner and Erasa. She left the two and ran over to Gohan.

"Hey Gohan," Videl said, smiling. "I wondered if I'd see you."

"Hi Videl," Gohan said, smiling. "This is my mom, my little brother, Goten and my cousin, Ryoka."

Veidel smiled at them, "Hi, I'm Videl."

"Are you going to fight?" Ryoka asked her.

"Maybe," Videl said, she turned to Gohan smirking. "So, do you think Saiyaman will show up?"

Gohan paled, "Uh, maybe."

"Hey Goten!"

They turned to see a purple haired boy coming towards them.

"Trunks!" Goten said.

Behind Trunks were Bulma, Yamcha, Vegeta, Krillin, 18, their daughter Marron, and Piccolo.

"Hi Chi-Chi," Bulma said. "You're looking good."

Chi-Chi smiled, "You too."

After a couple minutes of reminiscing, Trunks broke off the little reunion.

"Goten, who's that?" he asked, pointing at Ryoka.

Everyone took notice, even Vegeta.

"This, Chi-Chi said. "Is Ryoka."

"She's my cousin," Goten told Trunks.

"What?" Vegeta said. "Kakarot's brother didn't have any brats. Raditz didn't even have a mate."

"Her father wasn't Raditz," Gohan said. "He was killed before Raditz ever showed up on Earth."

"Well, then why haven't we seen her before?" Bulma asked, confused.

"I was frozen," Ryoka said. "While you were on Planet Namek, I was in a block of ice."

"How did you know about that?" Gohan asked.

Neither Gohan, Goten, nor Chi-Chi had told Ryoka anything about Namek or any of the fights that had occurred.

"I saw it all," Ryoka said, simply. "Frieza, Cell, the Androids, all of it."

"How?"

"Dr. Kuni, that's how," a voice behind the group said.

"Uncle Goku," Ryoka said, running over to him.

"Hey!" Goku said. "I haven't seen you in a long time."

Everyone crowded around Goku, welcoming him back, after he put Ryoka down. She moved back and stood next to Goten. He just stood looking at Goku, shyly.

Finally, Goku saw Goten, and he smiled, "Hi."

Goten had backed up behind Ryoka, peeking out. After a touching scene between father and son (A/N: Cause I can't remember the episode very well!) Goten was on Goku's shoulders, laughing and having fun.

They were about to leave when Bulma's voice broke through.

"Excuse me," she said. "I still want to know about how she saw everything while she was frozen."

Bulma pointed at Ryoka.

Goku looked at the small girl for a moment. Then, putting his hand behind his head, he smiled, "I don't really know. Ryoka?"

"Dr. Kuni said it was a secret," Ryoka said, quietly.

Goku nodded, "Then it stays a secret."

Bulma threw her hands up in the air, letting out an exasperated sigh.

The large group stood in front of the fighter's entrance. There had been an announcement for all who wanted to enter to come immediately.

Bulma, Chi-Chi, Yamcha, and little Marron were going to go a place to watch the fights. They left the group, waving goodbye.

Once inside, a tournament official came up to the group of fighters.

He looked down at the two young boys and girl.

"Will they be competing in the Junior Division?" he asked.

"Yes!" Trunks and Goten exclaimed, at once.

Ryoka just nodded.

"Alright," the official said. "You'll need to follow me then. We need to sort you."

Goten jumped down from Goku's shoulders. He and Trunks practically ran after the man while Ryoka followed, calmly.

"Strange girl," Vegeta said.

"Geez," Trunks sighed. "Thirty-five competitors in our Division? This'll take forever to win."

"Who say's you're gonna win?" Goten said. "I could win too."

"Yeah, right," Trunks smirked.

They were sitting in the prep room, waiting to start.

Ryoka was sitting watching the two boys talk.

"Hey pipsqueak," said a big kid.

He was tall, fugly, and had his knuckles wrapped up. He was smirking down at Trunks.

"What?" Trunks asked, annoyed.

"You might as well drop out now," the big kid said. Cause I'm gonna win this thing."

Trunks laughed," Whatever you say."

The big kid narrowed his eyes, then pulled back his arm and punched at Trunks, stopping right before he hit anything.

The kid was smiling, till he noticed that Trunks hadn't flinched.

"Alright!" an official said. "Let's get our first fighters our into the ring!"

Trunks went up when his name was called and a minute later the big kid was standing next to him.

Ryoka and Goten went to watch the fight form the ring entrance.

The fight took all of three seconds and the big kid was out of the ring.

Trunks walked back smirking.

"That'll teach him," he said.
