I couldn't really decide whether to rate this original or funny. Went with funny in the end. I guess Halbarad got quite the shock, poor man:) I loved Aragorn's cluelessness. Good story, I really liked it. Very funny. The elvish attitudes towards sex were somewhat au, but it worked really well. I don't mind at all when people write elves that way, so long as they are aware that Tolkien's elves weren't like that. I liked Halbarad's constant 'why, oh why did you leave Rivendell?' exclamations. Very well done.Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Rangers But Were Afraid to Ask

LOL! A LACE-free Rivendell! Wee! I like that idea! I just love Halbarad's reasoning in this piece, I mean if sex is for free there, why the heck would one leave it. I love the way how you captured the youth in their reasoning, grim times are ahead of them, but this is a nicely written interlude!
