Not Quite a Squib, After All

Up until chapter five, the story was mildly interesting. It was exciting reading about her finding out magic was real. Her parents were well written, her backstory was original and she wasn't all perfect as most OCs tend to be. Though I'll be honest that her being able to speak parseltongue put me off a touch. It just isn't reasonable...
Back on track, it was fun while things happened. Not so much when there's no conflict at all. It just stops being 'different', and becomes repetitive. Like reading common, everyday life.
It hasn't given much of anything for us to be curious of, I guess.
