“Please don’t… I’m sorry…” She held my hand which I shook off violently and continued striding off. She staggers behind. “I’M SORRY!” I stop in my tracks and turn to her.
“You don’t understand,” I say naturally. “I know you think I need you, and you’re probably right, but you don’t know what you did, you broke me and I don’t know what to do with myself,” I paused strengthening my confidence. “All I know is that you can’t fix a broken heart with the thing that broke it…” I locked my eyes on her’s tear filled. “And neither will I’m sorry.” I then continued to walk on as she slumped to the ground cleansing her face with tears flowing streams starring at her in a puddle on the ground. I entered my house and faced my full walls decorated to the brim with pictures of us, happy . I lost all strength in my legs and fell to the floor leaning against the sturdy door holding my knees up to my eyes blocking out the spinning picture of “her.”
