12. Opportunities for Extra Money. Some schools don't let you work at other institutes or even teach private classes, thus taking away the chance to make extra money. If you can, try to have your contract say that you can private students as long as they are not students at the school.
So what? Good Question. What I realized during this recent long winter camps is that I rarely was embracing my children in my world of creativity. I did more parallel creation than cooperative creation. Though I converted our inefficient and unused formal dining room into a den of innovation, there was not a lot of bonding going on.
Consider flying during off peak hours to save more money. Flights that depart early in the morning or at night tend to be less expensive than mid day flights. You will have to get up early to catch the flight, but you will save. The day of the week will also affect the fare you pay. Flying mid week is cheaper than flying on a weekend. Consider this when planning your vacation. It can save you quite a bit of money.
The cost for a show at the Robert T. Longway Planetarium is very reasonable. Admission is $5 for Adults and $4 for children. It is easy to find the planetarium as it is just a short distance off of I-475 (exit 8a) in the Flint Cultural Center at 1310 E. Kearsley Street. The Robert T. Longway Planetarium schedules three shows on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 12:30 p.m. each afternoon. Along with the sky shows the planetarium has laser shows, school programs, scout workshops, camps and classes.
It goes without saying that San Diego has some of the best beaches in the world. Whether you came to surf, tan, snorkel or swim, there is something for everyone at the beach. If you are on spring camps and looking for a younger crowd, you will find it at Pacific Beach. For a great family beach, try mission beach or La Jolla Shores.
Not to be confused with The Clapper, I picked this sucker up after a night of binge drinking in one of the seedier sections of Tijuana. I believe her name was Lupe.
You can reach out your hand to feed the animals but on your own risk! Though we have tried feeding them by hand and presently we still have our both hands and fingers all complete! We're not saying it is totally safe. Just use your instincts if you want to test your courage in feeding the animals by hand.
Yeah you heard me right. You can see a Padres game for under $10. Get a seat in the Lawn, Bleachers, or find better seats on promotion and go enjoy a game. 20 games a year offer certain seats free dinner with your seat (as long as your happy with a hot dog and a coke).
As far as the theme parks, we are keeping it to a minimum. We won't do Magic Kingdom, even though we have two small girls, ages 6 and 4. Suprisingly, they would rather do Sea World and we will also do Sea World's Aquatica Water Park.
