She took a deep breath and open the door to her producers room preparing herself the scolding that she may receive.

“Laura!” he exclaimed

“I know, I know. It was a disaster.” she sat down in the chair in front of his desk

“The viewers loved it.”

“They loved it?”

“We want them back on. Our ratings skyrocketed.”

“You want them back. Oh no” she rubbed her temple

“What? You don’t like them?”

“No no, it’s not that, It was just really crazy with them in the same room and trying to keep an eye on each of them. Men are like watching little kids.”

“Well maybe this time we could do something else. Maybe like a question game.”

“Mmmmh...I don’t know, Joe.”

“well think of something because they’re coming back on.”

“Okay, okay I’ll think of something.” she stood from her chair and begin to walk out

“Thanks, Laura. If you’re really uncomfortable with them on we’ll forget the idea.” she nodded as she exited.

“Welcome to the after show of “What’s Cooking” I’m Laura Branigan, this being the First after show, we have the previous guest from “what’s cooking?”. If you missed that show we have “Daryl Hall & John Oates, Spandau Ballet, Tears for Fears, Kajagoogoo, Aerosmith and Bon Jovi.” the audience cheered. “we have a chance to talk to each group and have some of the audience ask question. So let’s bring them out.” she stood up pulling her dress down and clapped along with the audience as each group came out. “Welcome Back guys”
she said as she sat back down.

“Is there not enough seats, Roland?” she questioned him standing behind the seated band

“No there is not but i’ll be ok.”

“Do we have anymore chairs?” she motioned for one of the security guards to bring him a chair. “We all want to be comfortable.’’ she joked as he was seated next to Curt. “The last time we were together, Bon jovi started a fire But this time there is nothing involved that will be able to start one." the group laughed

“Yeah, sorry about that.” The leader [Jon bon Jovi] laughed along with her.

“How did you guys even start the fire, if the only thing that was being heated up was water.” Joe leaned in to look at the group.

“I don’t know why we had a pan heating up.” Richie shrugged

“Some of the groups know each other but not everyone. So let’s introduce ourselves. We’ll go in the same order as usual.” the set was quiet with all eyes on Daryl and John.

“I’m Daryl Hall”

“I’m John Oates.” “The rest of the band couldn’t be here” the duo sat quietly again

“Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet. This is-”

“we have a mouth and words we can introduce ourselves. I’m Martin Kemp and this is my brother Gary.” Martin sneered

“The second John on this set, John Keeble.”

“Steve Norman” he grinned widely as he introduced himself. They moved onto the next group

“I’m Roland Orzabal”

“and I’m Curt Smith”

“And we are Tears for Fears” they said together. Manny and Ian signed

“I’m Manny Elis”

“and I’m Ian Stanley”

“and we’re part of Tears for Fears” they mocked. Roland shot them a look,

“My real name is Christopher Hamill, but I go by Limahl. This is Nick Beggs, Steve Askew and Jeremy Strode but he goes by Jez.” they continued

“Aerosmith! Steven Tyler on vocals !” he sung in his usual raspy voice.

“Joe perry, I play the guitar”

“Brad Whitford, rhythm guitar.”

“Joey Kramer, I'm on the drums.” and to the final group.

“I would introduce myself as Jon bon Jovi.”

“I would introduce myself as Richie Sambora because that’s my actual name ”

“David Bryan.” he laughed as they continued

“My real name is Hector Torres but my nickname is Ticco.”

“And you guys know me I am your host Laura Branigan.” the audience cheered again.

“We just wanted to meet with you guys after the show and ask a few questions. Hopefully now as a group we feel comfortable. You guys can ask each other questions as well.”

“I have a question for Daryl, you were the only group that wasn't causing problems on the show. How come?” Jon asked.

“I don't know, man. I guess behavior is part of respect by behaving your respecting Laura and everyone there. So it's just common sense really, man.” He finish.

“well okay that makes sense.” Jon nodded.

“That's a start. So everyone here are popular musician's do any of you have any songs that you like from each other.” Laura asked. The room was quiet for a second.

“Yeah, we listen to Hall & Oates and Spandau Ballet.” Roland spoke up

“I love Aerosmith, I listened to them towards the end of my teen years.” Jon added.

“I am quite fond of Method of modern love from Daryl Hall & John Oates.” Tony nodded.

“Songs from the big chair, yeah.” Daryl added.

“so you guys listen to each other actual.” She pointed between the two groups. “I guess you could say that” Roland answered.

Steven raised his hand waving it, wanting to get Laura’s attention “Yes, Steven.” “Yeah I have a question for the tall british kid.”

“Tony?”

“Yeah, How come you let Martin walk all over you, why don’t you just beat the heck out of him.”

Tony sighed “I guess I just don’t like to cause trouble, Steven. Yeah he does annoy me-”

“and some other people.” Steve [Norman] interrupted “But it’s for the band.” “It’s just my personality and I feel that I don’t get enough credit as I should plus being really attractive.” Martin budded in.“But that’s not cool, man” Daryl entered the conversation “You gotta respect him the way he does you, man” “Alright, Alright.” Steven ensured them that it was enough.

“Hey Limahl” Manny Cherped

“yeah?” he answered back looking at him
“How come you were crying on the show the last time?”

“You were crying?” all the other boys engaged in this conversation

“Umm...well you...I um actually was not I had gotten salt in my eyes and they umm… started to water...I um tried to rub it out.” he smiled nervously as he hoped his lie passed

“He was crying because Nick made the pasta.” Steve [Askew] added

“That’s not true” he covered his face with hands as tears ran down his face.

“You see you made salt go into my eyes again.” he uncovered his face and wiped the tears with the back of his wrist. Everyone sat around him an uncomfortable feeling in the air. Laura bent over in her chair and spoke to him quietly

“it's okay, you can tell us the truth it won't change anything about you.” He nodded his head and wiped his eyes over again. She made a head motion to the other groups to comfort him they shook their heads. She gave them a disappointed look “are you going to be okay?” He shook his head yes. “Okay, tell me if you need anything.”

She went back to the other groups, Steven waved his arms again to catch her attention. “Yes, Steven.” “This question is for the other British kid that didn't have a seat in the beginning. What was going on between you and your friend?” Roland lend towards him

“what do you mean? Oh the argument...um I don't even remember what it was about.” he looked at Curt

“um...let's see..I had said that Roland always says that he does more work than everyone else and I guess he just continued with it.”

“So your saying I started it.” Roland turned his body more to face Curt

“no I'm not that, I'm just saying you continued it.” He simply answered back

“you kept going with me, and you started it by being completely self centered.”Curt raised his voice.

“oh so now I'm self centered, I think you’re confusing me with yourself, when we entered the stage you didn’t even offer me your seat when I was standing behind you.” Roland objected

“You wanted my seat?! Your a grown man who can take care of himself, why do I need to offer you my seat.”

“Because I thought you were my best friend and a person with manners.” “ I am your friend and I do have manners, but I'm not going to offer you my seat.”

“You don't care about anyone but yourself. With all your cigarettes and fancy cars you ain't a clue who or what you are.” He crossed his arms

“your such a drama queen, Roland” Curt rolled his eyes.

The other bands just watched as they argued back and forth.

“They fight like an old married couple” Steven told Joe. A burst of deep loud hearty laughter could be heard from the aerosmith singer. He smacked the guitarist shoulder and laughed closely to him. Jon [bon jovi] snickered as well

“Yeah they do.” Roland rolled his eyes
“Sorry Mrs. Smith did I offend you.” Jon laughed. Ian and Manny try to hide the fact they were laughing along with everyone else but went noticed

“are you guys laughing?” he turned to look at them “unbelievable!”

“Okay let's stop messing with them.” Laura stopped it from going any further.

The set was quiet and Tony cleared his throat “what made you want to make a second part that conclude the previous show that we were all on?” Steve [Norman] stared at him with a blank expression on his face “what?” Tony whispered to him “that was quite a mouth full, you sound so smart I like that.” Tony chuckled at his remark and turned back to Laura “We wanted a chance to get feedback from everyone so we came up with what we see here today.” she smiled “but you've never done this with any of the others that have been on your show.” She tapped her fingers on her thighs and stood smiling at the British singer. turning towards the camera she started a commercial break “we'll have some of the audience ask our members questions right after the break. I'm Laura Branigan and you're watching the after of 'What's cooking’.” “Wait you neve-” his remark was cut of by the take-ten for the break.

“Okay the truth is that our ratings for ‘What’s cooking’ have been down when we brought all of you guys on it went up. So what we decide to do is to create a show were we could have all of you back to keep the ratings up.” “ooh!” they all said in unison

“So we keep them up because of what?” John [Oates] asked. “Ehm, I’ll fill you in on that one.” Martin started “The viewers notice how  attractive I am so they demanded to see more of my Charming face.” “dude that’s not the reason why. I don’t know how long you were on camera but it wasn’t for that long.” Brad argued “Maybe it was my joke.” Steven laughed at the thought of his pun. “It wasn't even that funny.” Joey bluntly stated. He turned to look at him “It was funny you just don't know the art of comedy.” “I think Mr. And Mrs. Smith argument sparked conversation and suspence.” “Could you guys please stop with that.” Roland seemed irritated “Maybe it was bon Jovi's stupidity.” “If it was you're soooo welcome.” Richie cockily added to Roland's remark.

She lightly giggled at all of their guesses “You guys are all right, it was what you did collectively as a group. You made the show interesting to watch again. Every since Phil Collins had been on it has lost that aspect.’’ “I'm glad we could help but what more could we do?” Limahl asked sympathetically. She shook her head “you guys are doing wonderful, I'm sure the show will be fine. Just continue doing what you've been doing.” “TWO more minutes!” The crew called to the bunch still on the set. “we have to go back on in a few. Let's act like we never had this conversation.’’ she crossed her legs going back to her previous position.

Wow that was long. You guys went over my goals with the view, met my goal with the comments but under with votes but it's okay the views really made up for that. There WILL be a second part especially with spring break coming up. I would like to say a big thank you for getting my story a rank two on the TearsforFears tag.
