Lucius handed Percy a small bottle of muscle relaxer pills, the label reading "Somas." He watched with a gleam of satisfaction as Percy took the bottle, his hand trembling slightly from the constant strain he had been putting on his body.

The pills would help keep Percy going, allowing him to push through the pain and maintain the grueling pace he had set for himself. Lucius had seen many fighters come and go, but Percy was different. He had a fire in him, a drive that Lucius knew he could exploit to his advantage.

Percy popped a pill into his mouth and swallowed it dry, the bitterness lingering on his tongue. Almost immediately, he felt the tension in his muscles start to ease, the pain that had been gnawing at him for days finally receding. He breathed a sigh of relief, but there was no time to rest. Lucius had called him to his office for a reason, and Percy knew that whatever it was, it would be big.

"Ryker," Lucius began, leaning back in his leather chair, his fingers steepled beneath his chin. "I have some exciting news for you. FMW has been expanding rapidly, as you know. We now have nine more championship belts, each one representing a different region of the world. Japan, Russia, Australia, Africa. You name it, we’ve got it. The opportunities for you to make a name for yourself are endless."

Percy’s eyes lit up at the mention of more championships. The idea of becoming a double champion was tantalizing, and he could already feel the adrenaline coursing through his veins at the thought of holding more gold.

"But that’s not all," Lucius continued, a sly smile playing on his lips. "There’s a new event on the horizon, something that’s never been done before in FMW. It’s called the Royal Rumble. Thirty men will enter, but only one will emerge victorious. The rules are simple: two men start, and every ninety seconds, a new participant enters the ring. The only way to win is to throw your opponent over the top rope, and the last man standing will be crowned the FMW Winged Eagle Champion."

Percy’s heart raced as Lucius explained the details. The Winged Eagle Championship was vacant, and this was his chance to claim it. But the challenge was immense. He would have to outlast twenty-nine other fighters, each one as hungry for victory as he was. The odds were stacked against him, but Percy had never backed down from a challenge before, and he wasn’t about to start now.

Lucius leaned forward, his gaze piercing as he handed Percy a small envelope. "The participants’ numbers are drawn at random," he said. "The later you enter the match, the better your chances of winning. Go on, open it."

Percy’s hands shook slightly as he tore open the envelope, pulling out a small slip of paper. His heart sank as he saw the number written on it: 1.

He would have to start off the Royal Rumble and go through all twenty-nine other fighters if he wanted to win. The task ahead of him was daunting, but Percy had come too far to let something like this deter him. He clenched his fist around the paper, determination hardening his resolve.

"I’ll win," Percy said, his voice steady despite the weight of the challenge before him. "I’ll go the distance and win the Winged Eagle Championship. No matter what it takes."

Lucius nodded, his eyes gleaming with approval. "That’s the spirit, Ryker. Remember, this is your chance to prove to the world that you’re not just another fighter. You’re a champion, a force to be reckoned with. Use that fire, that drive, and show them all what you’re made of."

Percy left Lucius’s office with a renewed sense of purpose. The road ahead would be long and brutal, but he was ready. He would train harder than ever, pushing his body and mind to their limits. The Royal Rumble was his chance to make history, to cement his legacy as one of the greatest fighters FMW had ever seen.

As he walked through the bustling streets, his mind was already racing with strategies, visualizing every possible scenario he might face in the ring. He knew the competition would be fierce, but Percy was determined to come out on top.

The Somas helped dull the pain, but nothing could dull the fire that burned within him. This was his moment, his opportunity to prove to everyone. Lucius, the fans, and even himself that he was more than just a Weasley, more than just a name. He was Ryker Black, and he was destined for greatness.

Percy's training for the Royal Rumble was nothing short of relentless. He pushed his body to the brink, going through high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to prepare for the grueling demands of the match. Every day was a new challenge, a new test of his endurance and willpower. He alternated between running, cycling, and swimming, each session designed to improve his cardio, strengthen his stamina, and ensure he could outlast anyone who stepped into the ring with him.

Penelope watched with growing concern as Percy threw himself into his training with single-minded determination. She knew how much this meant to him, how important it was for him to succeed, but she couldn’t shake the feeling that he was pushing himself too hard.

One evening, as Percy returned from yet another exhausting workout, Penelope finally voiced her concerns. "Percy, this isn’t healthy. You’re wearing yourself out. You’ve already achieved so much, do you really need to keep pushing like this?"

Percy, drenched in sweat and still breathing heavily from his session, looked at her with a mixture of exhaustion and resolve.

"Penelope, all I need is one good year. One year as champion, and we’ll be set for life. Financially, we’ll never have to worry about anything again. I can’t let this opportunity slip away. This is our future, our ticket to something better."

Penelope sighed, knowing that nothing she said would change his mind. She saw the fire in his eyes, the determination that had driven him this far, and she knew he wouldn’t stop until he had achieved his goal.

Percy pulled Penelope into a reassuring hug.

"I’m doing this for us. Just one more match, and then we can start the life we’ve always dreamed of."
