Sonic, Sonia, and Aleena stood in the palace garden to see Manic, Surge, and Nikós off after Manic and Surge’s private wedding in the flower garden.
Manic hugged Sonic. “You’ll make a great king, bro.”
“Thanks.” Sonic replied. “You sure you don’t want to stay?”
“I’m sure.” Manic said. “But I’ll visit, I promise.”
Manic and Sonic walked over to Sonia, Aleena, and Surge.
Sonia hugged Manic. “Congratulations, bro.”
Aleena ruffled Manic’s long spines. “We’ll visit you sometimes and you’re always welcome at the palace.”
“Thanks, Ma.” Manic said.
Surge handed Nikós to Manic. “Here’s your daddy.”
Manic hugged Nikós. “There’s my boy.” He said. “Are you ready to go home?”
Sonic handed Manic a bag. “Here, Tails made you about fifty of these.” He said. “He’ll make more when you need them.”
Manic opened the bag and pulled out a ring.
“Think of where you want to go, then throw it.” Sonic said.
Manic held it for a few seconds, then tossed it into the air.
The ring’s center turned into a portal to Mobodoon.
Manic, who was holding Nikós, and Surge stepped through the portal.
Manic turned around and waved at his family. “Goodbye, love you all.”
“Love you all too.” Sonic, Sonia, and Aleena said.
The portal slowly evaporated as Manic and Surge headed into the city.
