Yusei and I remained silent as the elevator went down to the ground floor. We went to the lounge once we stepped out so I change my deck before my duel with Jack. I was still asking myself where I got all that confidence when I confronted the blonde-haired man. But I was still angry when I thought about him acting just like my egotistical big brother.
My brother never cared about our mother or me! His own half-sibling! It really hurt knowing I had a big brother who didn't care about me, even though we had a big age difference, but I was a adult now. It didn't matter to him. He only cared about himself and tried acting like he was someone big.
"Estelle? Are you okay?" Yusei asked, a little worried.
I looked up from the deck and saw him stare at me with concern. The rage of the thoughts about Jack and my brother must have been reflecting in my eyes.
"Not really." I replied, turning my attention back to my deck. "Jack reminds me way too much of how my own big brother never cared about me or our mother." I let out a deep sigh, trying to let go of the anger. "There's nothing I can do about it. People can't really change...unless they desperately want to."
"It sounds like your brother is even worse than Jack." Yusei commented.
"You have no idea." I mumbled.
I finished rebuilding my deck and inserted it into my Duel Disk. I zipped my bag closed and held it out to Yusei. "I have a feeling things might become a bit catastrophic, so I think it's best for you to take my bag. I won't have any opportunity to run back and get it."
Yusei nodded. "Okay." He took my bag as I stood up and adjusted the Duel Disk on my arm.
A functionary walked over to us. "Miss Estelle? I've received orders to escort you to the arena."
"Okay." I nodded and turned to Yusei. "Look after the others during the duel, okay?"
"I will, and good luck." Yusei told me.
"Thanks." I smiled lightly.

"The time has come!" The MC shouted. "The final showdown is about to begin! New Domino City's Shining Star, Estelle Malmstrom, has won the chance to take on Jack Atlas!"
I was elevated up to the stage, my hair tied into a high ponytail, as people shouted encouraging words at me. When Jack was elevated up to the stage, girls began to scream with their fangirl voices, making me wish I covered my ears. The girls told him to beat me down because I was so plain looking and they threw devil words saying I was not beautiful and to come back when I look like a real woman.
I used to think I wasn't beautiful or didn't deserve to have any friends. But now, I learned to love myself and always thought people who called me that weren't worth my time. I also found new friends in this dimension who accepted me for me.
I looked up at the stands and saw Yusei sit down by our group, telling them whatever he told me about.
"Are you happy?" Jack made me snap out of my thoughts. "You have the chance to duel me, miss who's-not-supposed-to-exist-here."
"I wouldn't use the word happy to describe the situation." I retorted. "And I do have a name, Jack!"
"Why so upset about that nickname? I think it suits you because you don't belong in this world." Jack smirked.
Good thing they hadn't turned the mics on yet, so the whole dome couldn't hear our conversation.
"Jack-"
"I don't know why Goodwin is so interested in you, but if you are connected to the Signers, then our duel might also reveal the identity of the fifth Signer."
I put on my poker face, changing the subject. "Right now this duel is not about the Signers, Jack. Remember what I told you? I will make you open your eyes and heart and realize what you've truly done to your friends and yourself."
Jack growled. "Enough talk! Let's get this game on!"
"Gladly!" I shot back.
"This is the moment! Will Jack Atlas continue to reign as the King of Games? Or will he be dethroned by New Domino City's Shining Star? It's time to find out!" The MC said. "Activate your Duel Disks!"
Jack and I held our left arms with our Duel Disks up and activated them.
"Let's duel!"
Jack: 4000 LP
Estelle: 4000 LP
We both drew five cards from our decks.
"The champion first! I draw!" Jack drew his sixth card.

Things weren't going well for me. Jack had Synchro summoned Red Dragon Archfiend and taken Moon Dragon Quilla out during his Battle Phase. My life points dropped by 500 since neither of us had used spell cards to give our dragons a boost.
Jack: 3200 LP
Estelle: 1600 LP - 1100 LP
I still had a monster face down on the field and two trap cards face down, one of them being Dark Bribe and the other being Impenetrable Attack. The cards in my hand were Schwarzchild Limit Dragon, Poison of the Old Man and Blustering Winds.
I looked up for a moment to see dark clouds forming in the sky. I grimaced, knowing that the Crimson Dragon would soon make a appearance. I could feel the dragon's presence with my Star Mark.
"I play the spell Red Dragon Vase!" Jack played said card. "I can only activate it's effect when I have Red Dragon Archfiend on the field. This allows me to draw two cards from my deck, but I can't summon any monsters until the end of your next turn. A small price to pay. And I end my turn by throwing a face down."
I was wondering if Jack was just toying with me. Or was he giving me a chance to Synchro summon my ace monster to allow the Crimson Dragon to appear.
And Jack only had one face down, but I could always counter when he activated it.
"My turn. I draw." I drew a new card.
I turned it around and sighed in relief. I got just the card I needed.
"Okay Jack, time to show you the power of the stars." I said. "Since you control a monster that has over 2000 attack points, I can special summon Schwarzchild Limit Dragon!"
A long brown dragon appeared in front of me, exposing his teeth to Red Dragon Archfiend.
Schwarzchild Limit Dragon, Level 8: ATK 2000
"And next I normal summon the tuner monster Vylon Stella!" I placed my latest card on the Duel Disk.
A light appeared next to my dragon as it formed my favorite tuner monster, shining like a bright star.
Vylon Stella, Level 3, Tuner: ATK 1500
"Wait a second...that tuner is a level 3 and your Schwarz-whatever dragon is a level 8..." Jack trailed off before his eyes widened in realization. "You're not gonna-"
"I am, Jack." I said. "I tune Vylon Stella with Schwarzchild Limit Dragon."
Said monsters glowed before they shot up into the sky, glowing brighter than ever during a Synchro summon.
The air around me became intense as a bright light shined above me; the scene reminded me of Akiza whenever she Synchro summoned Black Rose Dragon. A large fireball that looked like the sun appeared above me before a roar emanated from the flaming orb.
"Come forth, the ruler of the stars, the emperor of the dragons...STAR EATER!"
A large dragon broke through the flaming orb and let out a really loud roar that shook the Kaiba Dome. The dragon spread his wings and let small flames rain down around us.
Star Eater, Level 11: ATK 3200
I could swear I saw Jack's eyes widen in shock after seeing Star Eater and even Red Dragon Archfiend flinched in fear.
"Unbelievable!" The MC shouted. "This is one of the biggest monsters I've ever seen! We're witnessing the debut of a level 11 Synchro monster! One only a chosen few can wield!"
Just then, my Mark began to glow and my eyes started to burn, but I didn't feel any pain.
"My arm's glowing!" Jack shouted.
I said nothing as I felt the Crimson Dragon approach us.
"Are you ready, Priestess?" The Crimson Dragon's voice said in my head.
"Yes." I whispered.
After I answered, a flash of red lightning struck the ground between Star Eater and Red Dragon Archfiend.
"Here it comes." I mumbled.
The Crimson Dragon roared once his body materialized between Star Eater and Red Dragon Archfiend who were flying in the air.
"The Crimson Dragon!" I heard Yusei scream from the stands.
"Crimson Dragon, welcome to my arena!" Jack greeted the dragon god. "Now, watch and witness how your future master rules this duel!"
"The Crimson Dragon belongs to no one, Jack!" I shouted angrily.
"Shut up!" Jack spat. "I am a Signer, Estelle Malmstrom, and this is my destiny. Goodwin told me that the power of the Crimson Dragon will help me save this world!"
"Me! You! I! You think this is just about you, Jack Atlas?!" I shouted angrily, tired of his selfishness. "Have you already forgotten that there are five Signers?! Five Signers that have to work together as a team to fully control the power of the Crimson Dragon!"
Star Eater roared in agreement.
The Crimson Dragon roared as he swirled around the dome, creating a strong gust of wind.
"Now, allow me to show you the Satellite's future." The Crimson Dragon said.
"What's going on?!" Jack shouted.
I felt my soul being ripped from my body by a crimson light as it floated up into the Crimson Dragon along with Star Eater, Jack, Red Dragon Archfiend and the other three Signers.

The next thing I knew when I opened my eyes was that I was sitting on Star Eater's neck as he flew in a dark universe.
"Star Eater!" I gasped.
"Mistress Estelle." Star Eater greeted me.
I looked up and saw Red Dragon Archfiend holding Jack in one of his clawed hands.
"What the...Red Dragon Archfiend?!" The blonde-haired man gaped.
"Master Jack." Red Dragon Archfiend greeted him.
"Did you just talk?!" Jack questioned.
"I did, Master." Red Dragon Archfiend nodded.
"Where are we?" I heard Yusei's voice.
I looked up to the left and saw Yusei, Luna and Akiza floating in the air in three red bubbles. Akiza was wearing a swimsuit that looked like the one she wore whenever she took a bath in the anime.
"Where's the stadium?" Luna asked. "What's going on?"
"I don't know." Akiza replied.
I looked up ahead and spotted a red star before a temple emerged with the burning light.
"Look there!" Jack yelled, pointing at the temple.
We saw people bowing at the bottom of the temple while five people were on top.
"Estelle, they look exactly like the People of the Stars." Jack said.
"Yes they do." I nodded.
"What're they doing here?" Yusei wondered when he saw five people with the Mark of the Dragon on their arms. "Hey, guys! They're all Signers!"
"Like us!" Jack nodded. "Goodwin told me about these people. He said we're all linked to the Crimson Dragon."
"That is correct, Atlas." Star Eater's deep voice growled.
I spotted a woman dressed in a fancy outfit walk up to the top, with her arms exposed. On her right arm was the same pentagram Mark I had!
"Guys! The woman who's walking up to the former Signers...she has the Mark I have!" I shouted.
"That must have been the wielder of the Star Mark before you." Akiza concluded.
"Let us move on. We have much to show you." Star Eater said before flying ahead.
"What do you mean?!" Jack shouted behind us.
"You will see, Master." Red Dragon Archfiend replied.
I already knew what the next scene was about. We soon saw the streets of the Satellite.
"Down there! It looks a lot like the Satellite, Jack!" Yusei shouted.
Not even a second later, the Satellite was engulfed by purple flames.
"What's happening?!" Luna gasped.
"Everyone, look there!" Akiza called. "Is that a giant spider surrounding New Domino City?"
I swallowed nervously after hearing the word "spider". I wasn't a huge fan of them. I tolerated several bugs, but spiders were out of the question.
The buildings in the Satellite and New Domino City crumbled, destroying everything.
"I can't believe this is happening!" Yusei exclaimed. "We have to stop it!"
"Calm down, everyone!" I shouted, getting their attention. "This is not happening in the present. This is a vision of the future! A future which shows a evil force attempting to take over the world, starting with the Satellite and New Domino City!"
"Well, if that's the future, then you two better stop this duel right now!" Yusei shouted. "We gotta get home!"
"You're right, Yusei!" I nodded in agreement.
"We will, once we finish this." Jack said with a unnaturally calm voice.
"What?!" Yusei and I gasped simultaneously.
"Estelle, this is a duel. The Crimson Dragon won't let either of us go back until one of us wins." Jack explained.
"Come on!" Yusei growled.
"How do you know that, Jack? Or is it your own decision?" I spat.
Jack snorted. "Don't you get it? Dueling brought us here and dueling is what's gonna get us back home. And whoever wins will show the Crimson Dragon they deserve the power to save the world. And I'm gonna be that person!"
"You're nuts, Jack!" Yusei shouted angrily.
"I've had enough of your selfishness, Jack Atlas!" I shouted before intertwining my hands to pray. "Crimson Dragon, we received your message. Please send us back to the stadium so we can end the duel and then save the world!"
My arm that had the Star Mark on it started glowing as it slowly got stronger. The two dragon Synchro monsters roared before the universe was engulfed in a crimson light.
But then I heard the Crimson Dragon's voice in my head.
"Only the Signers and Priestess can prevent this future from happening."

I gasped when I felt my soul return to my body. I also felt a bit lightheaded, but quickly recovered. I looked up and saw Jack look around, surprised to see that we were back in the arena. I turned to the stands and saw Yusei and Luna look around as well, like they just woke up from a dream. Star Eater and Red Dragon Archfiend growled under their breath, waiting for further orders.
When I looked up at the sky, the dark clouds were gone and the Crimson Dragon's presence could no longer be felt.
"How...did we get back here?" Jack questioned before turning to me with a glare. "You! It was you who told the Crimson Dragon to bring us back!"
"Yes Jack, and it's time to end this duel!" I said, raising my left arm with the Duel Disk. "Oh, and I forgot to tell you one thing about Star Eater. When he's Synchro summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. So I think I end my turn."
XXXXXXXXXX - Normal POV
Yusei and Luna looked around when their souls returned to their bodies, surprised to see they were back in the dome.
"W-what just happened?" Luna asked.
"We're back?" Yusei mumbled.
"What's wrong, guys?" Dexter asked them.
"Where did the Crimson Dragon go?" Yanagi asked, looking at the now cloud-free sky.
"It was here a second ago and now it's gone?" Tanner questioned.
"Gone?!" Yusei and Luna said simultaneously and looked at their arms that had stopped glowing.
"But how...?" Yusei mumbled before turning his attention to the arena, remembering that Estelle prayed to the Crimson Dragon. "Did Estelle bring us back here?"
"What are you talking about? You never left your seats." Tanner commented.
"No...it's not about that." Luna mumbled.
"What do you mean, Luna?" A worried Leo asked.

Sayer, who was close to the stands was also shocked to see the Crimson Dragon disappear in less than a second.
'What happened? I thought the Crimson Dragon would truly appear when all Signers are present.' He thought before looking at the Ivory Tower. 'Did something go wrong with the summoning?'
Sayer heard footsteps and a familiar voice. He turned around and saw Akiza who was fully dressed and had her hairpin attached.
"Akiza? What are you doing here? You should go back and rest." Sayer said.
"I...I know." Akiza panted to catch her breath. "But...I got a urgent feeling to come back and watch the final duel."
Sayer grimaced mentally, knowing that Akiza had been affected by Estelle and Yusei, but he didn't show his concern. "If you feel strong enough to stay here..."
Akiza nodded. "I do."
"Okay, but stay with me the whole time."
XXXXXXXXXX - Estelle's POV
Jack smirked. "Not so tough now, are you?" He drew a new card. "Red Dragon Archfiend, attack the face down next to Star Eater."
Now it was my turn to smirk. "You fell into my trap, Jack! I flip summon Old Vindictive Magician!" I flipped up my face down monster. "Now his special ability activates! I can target one monster my opponent controls and destroy said target!"
Old Vindictive Magician, Level 2: DEF 600
"You wouldn't dare." Jack growled.
"I do dare, Jack." I replied. "I choose your Red Dragon Archfiend."
Old Vindictive Magician raised his staff and sent a blast at Red Dragon Archfiend who fought against it. But it was useless. The black dragon was destroyed and sent to the graveyard just as my spellcaster monster joined the other cards in my graveyard.
Jack growled. "I end my turn with a new face down."
"Alright." I mumbled as I drew a new card.
Jack was practically open for a direct attack, but he still had two face downs that could change everything. Depending on what kind of cards they were...
I took a look at the card I had just drawn. Mystical Space Typhoon. Perfect!
"I start by playing the spell card Mystical Space Typhoon!" I played said card. "I can destroy a spell or trap card on the field and I choose your new face down, Jack!"
A typhoon came out of my spell card and hit Jack's face down, which was Mirror Force. Jack growled loudly when his trap card was destroyed.
"The time has come, Jack Atlas." I spoke in a low tone. "Star Eater, gather the light of the stars!"
Star Eater flew high up into the air and started gathering the power of the stars, as a large orange orb appeared in front of his mouth, one that was twice as big as his body.
"Uh oh people...I think we're reaching the duel's climax." The MC commented in a worried tone.
I quickly removed my ribbon, freeing my hair. "Starlight...BREAKER!"
Star Eater pointed the orb at Jack before releasing the energy. Jack braced himself as the light engulfed us before it spread to the stands and across the dome. The scene kind of reminded me of Nanoha's Starlight Breaker from "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 1st".
I closed my eyes and could only feel warmth from the attack, making me cry a little when I recognized the warmth of the love I felt for my mother and father. A love that could never be replaced by anything else in the world.
XXXXXXXXXX - Normal POV
Jack couldn't believe that he was about to lose. He braced himself by shielding his head with both of his arms when the attack reached him. He felt the power of Starlight Breaker slowly push him back, but he held himself in place. Then he felt a powerful shock wave that roughly pushed him back.
Jack waited for the pain, but it never came. Instead, he felt something familiar...a warmth that he had almost forgotten about.
'This is...no way!' Jack gasped. "This is the same feeling I had when I grew up with Martha, Yusei and Crow!" He started remembering all the happy times he shared with his foster brothers and foster mother, and the big dream to connect the Satellite with New Domino City. 'Me, when I was so young...hoping...dreaming for a better future.'
Then he remembered the good times when he and his "brothers" joined Kalin in the Enforcers, dueling together to keep the Satellite safe and the few times he spent with Yusei's group after the Enforcers disbanded, then seeing Stardust Dragon for the first time when Yusei Synchro summoned it with his first Duel Runner. 'I'm a fool...how could I forget the times I spent with my family...my friends.' A small tear escaped his eye. 'Yusei...I'm sorry.'

Drake had been watching the duel from underneath the stands when the light consumed the dome.
"This is insane." He commented, before sprouting his wings to shield his eyes.

Yusei's group gasped loudly when they saw the attack, and the light was reaching the stands.
"What's happening?!" Leo shouted.
"Everyone, take cover!" Tanner yelled.
They bent down, holding their heads as the light swallowed them.

Sayer and Akiza gasped as the light reached them. Sayer grabbed Akiza and held her close to him, protecting her if the light was going to hurt them.
The man looked at the light with a thoughtful expression on his face. 'This power...it's beyond anything I've sensed before. That woman...Estelle.'
That was the moment the light produced by Starlight Breaker reached the two.
XXXXXXXXXX - Estelle's POV
I felt my hair ruffle because of the attack as I kept my eyes closed. I focused deeply with Star Eater to add warm and gentle energy to the attack, making sure no one got hurt.
I felt a shock wave rush past me when Starlight Breaker generated a explosion. I suddenly felt weak and went down to one knee, panting to catch my breath. When the light faded, I looked up to see small orbs of orange light fall down from the sky and explode like fireworks.

Estelle: 1100 LP
Star Eater was still on the field when I glanced around and saw that Jack wasn't on the stage anymore. I gasped and slowly got to my feet before running to the other side of the arena. When I reached the edge of the stage, I looked down and spotted a unconscious Jack on the Turbo Duel course.
"Jack!" I cried out, worried.
Star Eater lowered his head to allow me to climb onto his neck. Once I did, he flew down to the Turbo Duel course and allowed me to get down.
"Thank you, Star Eater." I thanked my ace monster.
Star Eater nodded and flew into the air, rumbling worriedly as I reached Jack.
I knelt down and slowly lifted Jack's head so he could rest on my lap. "Jack..."
"Jack!"
I looked up and saw Yusei running toward us, getting down on one knee next to Jack when the raven-haired man reached us.
Jack stirred before he slowly opened his eyes to look at me. "Estelle...you beat me...I don't know how you were able to do it...but you're the champ now..."
I shook my head. "I don't care that I'm the champion. I just wanted to make you realize what you missed because of your selfishness."
"And you did..." Jack smirked weakly before turning to Yusei. "Yusei...I'm sorry...for betraying you and our friends..." Yusei's eyes widened after hearing those words. "And sorry...for taking your...Stardust Dragon."
"Don't strain yourself." Yusei told the blonde-haired man. "If that vision is true, none of this matters. Because it looks like we all might lose. We're in danger, and our cities might be destroyed so we have to unite and stop it."
I nodded in agreement. "All five Signers are meant to be friends and work together as a team, no matter how different they are."

"Uh...it's over!" The MC suddenly shouted. "Estelle is our winner! From a unknown star, from a few days of being a foreigner, she now reigns supreme! I proudly present New Domino City's newest heroine! Estelle Malmstrom!"

"I play the spell Red Dragon Vase!" Jack played said card. "I can only activate it's effect when I have Red Dragon Archfiend on the field. This allows me to draw two cards from my deck, but I can't summon any monsters until the end of your next turn. A small price to pay. And I end my turn by throwing a face down."
I was wondering if Jack was just toying with me. Or was he giving me a chance to Synchro summon my ace monster to allow the Crimson Dragon to appear.
And Jack only had one face down, but I could always counter when he activated it.
"My turn. I draw." I drew a new card.
I turned it around and sighed in relief. I got just the card I needed.
"Okay Jack, time to show you the power of the stars." I said. "Since you control a monster that has over 2000 attack points, I can special summon Schwarzchild Limit Dragon!"
A long brown dragon appeared in front of me, exposing his teeth to Red Dragon Archfiend.
Schwarzchild Limit Dragon, Level 8: ATK 2000
"And next I normal summon the tuner monster Vylon Stella!" I placed my latest card on the Duel Disk.
A light appeared next to my dragon as it formed my favorite tuner monster, shining like a bright star.
Vylon Stella, Level 3, Tuner: ATK 1500
"Wait a second...that tuner is a level 3 and your Schwarz-whatever dragon is a level 8..." Jack trailed off before his eyes widened in realization. "You're not gonna-"
"I am, Jack." I said. "I tune Vylon Stella with Schwarzchild Limit Dragon."
Said monsters glowed before they shot up into the sky, glowing brighter than ever during a Synchro summon.
The air around me became intense as a bright light shined above me; the scene reminded me of Akiza whenever she Synchro summoned Black Rose Dragon. A large fireball that looked like the sun appeared above me before a roar emanated from the flaming orb.
"Come forth, the ruler of the stars, the emperor of the dragons...STAR EATER!"
A large dragon broke through the flaming orb and let out a really loud roar that shook the Kaiba Dome. The dragon spread his wings and let small flames rain down around us.
Star Eater, Level 11: ATK 3200
I could swear I saw Jack's eyes widen in shock after seeing Star Eater and even Red Dragon Archfiend flinched in fear.
"Unbelievable!" The MC shouted. "This is one of the biggest monsters I've ever seen! We're witnessing the debut of a level 11 Synchro monster! One only a chosen few can wield!"
Just then, my Mark began to glow and my eyes started to burn, but I didn't feel any pain.
"My arm's glowing!" Jack shouted.
I said nothing as I felt the Crimson Dragon approach us.
"Are you ready, Priestess?" The Crimson Dragon's voice said in my head.
"Yes." I whispered.
After I answered, a flash of red lightning struck the ground between Star Eater and Red Dragon Archfiend.
"Here it comes." I mumbled.
The Crimson Dragon roared once his body materialized between Star Eater and Red Dragon Archfiend who were flying in the air.
"The Crimson Dragon!" I heard Yusei scream from the stands.
"Crimson Dragon, welcome to my arena!" Jack greeted the dragon god. "Now, watch and witness how your future master rules this duel!"
"The Crimson Dragon belongs to no one, Jack!" I shouted angrily.
"Shut up!" Jack spat. "I am a Signer, Estelle Malmstrom, and this is my destiny. Goodwin told me that the power of the Crimson Dragon will help me save this world!"
"Me! You! I! You think this is just about you, Jack Atlas?!" I shouted angrily, tired of his selfishness. "Have you already forgotten that there are five Signers?! Five Signers that have to work together as a team to fully control the power of the Crimson Dragon!"
Star Eater roared in agreement.
The Crimson Dragon roared as he swirled around the dome, creating a strong gust of wind.
"Now, allow me to show you the Satellite's future." The Crimson Dragon said.
"What's going on?!" Jack shouted.
I felt my soul being ripped from my body by a crimson light as it floated up into the Crimson Dragon along with Star Eater, Jack, Red Dragon Archfiend and the other three Signers.

The next thing I knew when I opened my eyes was that I was sitting on Star Eater's neck as he flew in a dark universe.
"Star Eater!" I gasped.
"Mistress Estelle." Star Eater greeted me.
I looked up and saw Red Dragon Archfiend holding Jack in one of his clawed hands.
"What the...Red Dragon Archfiend?!" The blonde-haired man gaped.
"Master Jack." Red Dragon Archfiend greeted him.
"Did you just talk?!" Jack questioned.
"I did, Master." Red Dragon Archfiend nodded.
"Where are we?" I heard Yusei's voice.
I looked up to the left and saw Yusei, Luna and Akiza floating in the air in three red bubbles. Akiza was wearing a swimsuit that looked like the one she wore whenever she took a bath in the anime.
"Where's the stadium?" Luna asked. "What's going on?"
"I don't know." Akiza replied.
I looked up ahead and spotted a red star before a temple emerged with the burning light.
"Look there!" Jack yelled, pointing at the temple.
We saw people bowing at the bottom of the temple while five people were on top.
"Estelle, they look exactly like the People of the Stars." Jack said.
"Yes they do." I nodded.
"What're they doing here?" Yusei wondered when he saw five people with the Mark of the Dragon on their arms. "Hey, guys! They're all Signers!"
"Like us!" Jack nodded. "Goodwin told me about these people. He said we're all linked to the Crimson Dragon."
"That is correct, Atlas." Star Eater's deep voice growled.
I spotted a woman dressed in a fancy outfit walk up to the top, with her arms exposed. On her right arm was the same pentagram Mark I had!
"Guys! The woman who's walking up to the former Signers...she has the Mark I have!" I shouted.
"That must have been the wielder of the Star Mark before you." Akiza concluded.
"Let us move on. We have much to show you." Star Eater said before flying ahead.
"What do you mean?!" Jack shouted behind us.
"You will see, Master." Red Dragon Archfiend replied.
I already knew what the next scene was about. We soon saw the streets of the Satellite.
"Down there! It looks a lot like the Satellite, Jack!" Yusei shouted.
Not even a second later, the Satellite was engulfed by purple flames.
"What's happening?!" Luna gasped.
"Everyone, look there!" Akiza called. "Is that a giant spider surrounding New Domino City?"
I swallowed nervously after hearing the word "spider". I wasn't a huge fan of them. I tolerated several bugs, but spiders were out of the question.
The buildings in the Satellite and New Domino City crumbled, destroying everything.
"I can't believe this is happening!" Yusei exclaimed. "We have to stop it!"
"Calm down, everyone!" I shouted, getting their attention. "This is not happening in the present. This is a vision of the future! A future which shows a evil force attempting to take over the world, starting with the Satellite and New Domino City!"
"Well, if that's the future, then you two better stop this duel right now!" Yusei shouted. "We gotta get home!"
"You're right, Yusei!" I nodded in agreement.
"We will, once we finish this." Jack said with a unnaturally calm voice.
"What?!" Yusei and I gasped simultaneously.
"Estelle, this is a duel. The Crimson Dragon won't let either of us go back until one of us wins." Jack explained.
"Come on!" Yusei growled.
"How do you know that, Jack? Or is it your own decision?" I spat.
Jack snorted. "Don't you get it? Dueling brought us here and dueling is what's gonna get us back home. And whoever wins will show the Crimson Dragon they deserve the power to save the world. And I'm gonna be that person!"
"You're nuts, Jack!" Yusei shouted angrily.
"I've had enough of your selfishness, Jack Atlas!" I shouted before intertwining my hands to pray. "Crimson Dragon, we received your message. Please send us back to the stadium so we can end the duel and then save the world!"
My arm that had the Star Mark on it started glowing as it slowly got stronger. The two dragon Synchro monsters roared before the universe was engulfed in a crimson light.
But then I heard the Crimson Dragon's voice in my head.
"Only the Signers and Priestess can prevent this future from happening."

I gasped when I felt my soul return to my body. I also felt a bit lightheaded, but quickly recovered. I looked up and saw Jack look around, surprised to see that we were back in the arena. I turned to the stands and saw Yusei and Luna look around as well, like they just woke up from a dream. Star Eater and Red Dragon Archfiend growled under their breath, waiting for further orders.
When I looked up at the sky, the dark clouds were gone and the Crimson Dragon's presence could no longer be felt.
"How...did we get back here?" Jack questioned before turning to me with a glare. "You! It was you who told the Crimson Dragon to bring us back!"
"Yes Jack, and it's time to end this duel!" I said, raising my left arm with the Duel Disk. "Oh, and I forgot to tell you one thing about Star Eater. When he's Synchro summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. So I think I end my turn."
XXXXXXXXXX - Normal POV
Yusei and Luna looked around when their souls returned to their bodies, surprised to see they were back in the dome.
"W-what just happened?" Luna asked.
"We're back?" Yusei mumbled.
"What's wrong, guys?" Dexter asked them.
"Where did the Crimson Dragon go?" Yanagi asked, looking at the now cloud-free sky.
"It was here a second ago and now it's gone?" Tanner questioned.
"Gone?!" Yusei and Luna said simultaneously and looked at their arms that had stopped glowing.
"But how...?" Yusei mumbled before turning his attention to the arena, remembering that Estelle prayed to the Crimson Dragon. "Did Estelle bring us back here?"
"What are you talking about? You never left your seats." Tanner commented.
"No...it's not about that." Luna mumbled.
"What do you mean, Luna?" A worried Leo asked.

Sayer, who was close to the stands was also shocked to see the Crimson Dragon disappear in less than a second.
'What happened? I thought the Crimson Dragon would truly appear when all Signers are present.' He thought before looking at the Ivory Tower. 'Did something go wrong with the summoning?'
Sayer heard footsteps and a familiar voice. He turned around and saw Akiza who was fully dressed and had her hairpin attached.
"Akiza? What are you doing here? You should go back and rest." Sayer said.
"I...I know." Akiza panted to catch her breath. "But...I got a urgent feeling to come back and watch the final duel."
Sayer grimaced mentally, knowing that Akiza had been affected by Estelle and Yusei, but he didn't show his concern. "If you feel strong enough to stay here..."
Akiza nodded. "I do."
"Okay, but stay with me the whole time."
XXXXXXXXXX - Estelle's POV
Jack smirked. "Not so tough now, are you?" He drew a new card. "Red Dragon Archfiend, attack the face down next to Star Eater."
Now it was my turn to smirk. "You fell into my trap, Jack! I flip summon Old Vindictive Magician!" I flipped up my face down monster. "Now his special ability activates! I can target one monster my opponent controls and destroy said target!"
Old Vindictive Magician, Level 2: DEF 600
"You wouldn't dare." Jack growled.
"I do dare, Jack." I replied. "I choose your Red Dragon Archfiend."
Old Vindictive Magician raised his staff and sent a blast at Red Dragon Archfiend who fought against it. But it was useless. The black dragon was destroyed and sent to the graveyard just as my spellcaster monster joined the other cards in my graveyard.
Jack growled. "I end my turn with a new face down."
"Alright." I mumbled as I drew a new card.
Jack was practically open for a direct attack, but he still had two face downs that could change everything. Depending on what kind of cards they were...
I took a look at the card I had just drawn. Mystical Space Typhoon. Perfect!
"I start by playing the spell card Mystical Space Typhoon!" I played said card. "I can destroy a spell or trap card on the field and I choose your new face down, Jack!"
A typhoon came out of my spell card and hit Jack's face down, which was Mirror Force. Jack growled loudly when his trap card was destroyed.
"The time has come, Jack Atlas." I spoke in a low tone. "Star Eater, gather the light of the stars!"
Star Eater flew high up into the air and started gathering the power of the stars, as a large orange orb appeared in front of his mouth, one that was twice as big as his body.
"Uh oh people...I think we're reaching the duel's climax." The MC commented in a worried tone.
I quickly removed my ribbon, freeing my hair. "Starlight...BREAKER!"
Star Eater pointed the orb at Jack before releasing the energy. Jack braced himself as the light engulfed us before it spread to the stands and across the dome. The scene kind of reminded me of Nanoha's Starlight Breaker from "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 1st".
I closed my eyes and could only feel warmth from the attack, making me cry a little when I recognized the warmth of the love I felt for my mother and father. A love that could never be replaced by anything else in the world.
XXXXXXXXXX - Normal POV
Jack couldn't believe that he was about to lose. He braced himself by shielding his head with both of his arms when the attack reached him. He felt the power of Starlight Breaker slowly push him back, but he held himself in place. Then he felt a powerful shock wave that roughly pushed him back.
Jack waited for the pain, but it never came. Instead, he felt something familiar...a warmth that he had almost forgotten about.
'This is...no way!' Jack gasped. "This is the same feeling I had when I grew up with Martha, Yusei and Crow!" He started remembering all the happy times he shared with his foster brothers and foster mother, and the big dream to connect the Satellite with New Domino City. 'Me, when I was so young...hoping...dreaming for a better future.'
Then he remembered the good times when he and his "brothers" joined Kalin in the Enforcers, dueling together to keep the Satellite safe and the few times he spent with Yusei's group after the Enforcers disbanded, then seeing Stardust Dragon for the first time when Yusei Synchro summoned it with his first Duel Runner. 'I'm a fool...how could I forget the times I spent with my family...my friends.' A small tear escaped his eye. 'Yusei...I'm sorry.'

Drake had been watching the duel from underneath the stands when the light consumed the dome.
"This is insane." He commented, before sprouting his wings to shield his eyes.

Yusei's group gasped loudly when they saw the attack, and the light was reaching the stands.
"What's happening?!" Leo shouted.
"Everyone, take cover!" Tanner yelled.
They bent down, holding their heads as the light swallowed them.

Sayer and Akiza gasped as the light reached them. Sayer grabbed Akiza and held her close to him, protecting her if the light was going to hurt them.
The man looked at the light with a thoughtful expression on his face. 'This power...it's beyond anything I've sensed before. That woman...Estelle.'
That was the moment the light produced by Starlight Breaker reached the two.
XXXXXXXXXX - Estelle's POV
I felt my hair ruffle because of the attack as I kept my eyes closed. I focused deeply with Star Eater to add warm and gentle energy to the attack, making sure no one got hurt.
I felt a shock wave rush past me when Starlight Breaker generated a explosion. I suddenly felt weak and went down to one knee, panting to catch my breath. When the light faded, I looked up to see small orbs of orange light fall down from the sky and explode like fireworks.
Jack: 3200 LP - 0 LP
Estelle: 1100 LP
Star Eater was still on the field when I glanced around and saw that Jack wasn't on the stage anymore. I gasped and slowly got to my feet before running to the other side of the arena. When I reached the edge of the stage, I looked down and spotted a unconscious Jack on the Turbo Duel course.
"Jack!" I cried out, worried.
Star Eater lowered his head to allow me to climb onto his neck. Once I did, he flew down to the Turbo Duel course and allowed me to get down.
"Thank you, Star Eater." I thanked my ace monster.
Star Eater nodded and flew into the air, rumbling worriedly as I reached Jack.
I knelt down and slowly lifted Jack's head so he could rest on my lap. "Jack..."
"Jack!"
I looked up and saw Yusei running toward us, getting down on one knee next to Jack when the raven-haired man reached us.
Jack stirred before he slowly opened his eyes to look at me. "Estelle...you beat me...I don't know how you were able to do it...but you're the champ now..."
I shook my head. "I don't care that I'm the champion. I just wanted to make you realize what you missed because of your selfishness."
"And you did..." Jack smirked weakly before turning to Yusei. "Yusei...I'm sorry...for betraying you and our friends..." Yusei's eyes widened after hearing those words. "And sorry...for taking your...Stardust Dragon."
"Don't strain yourself." Yusei told the blonde-haired man. "If that vision is true, none of this matters. Because it looks like we all might lose. We're in danger, and our cities might be destroyed so we have to unite and stop it."
I nodded in agreement. "All five Signers are meant to be friends and work together as a team, no matter how different they are."
Jack coughed a little. "You always wanted to be a hero, Yusei...now, here's your chance." Those were his last words before he lost consciousness again.
"Jack!" Yusei shouted.
I held Jack's left cheek and rubbed it gently to give the blonde-haired man some comfort. I noticed the stray line of a tear on his cheek and wiped it away.
"Uh...it's over!" The MC suddenly shouted. "Estelle is our winner! From a unknown star, from a few days of being a foreigner, she now reigns supreme! I proudly present New Domino City's newest heroine! Estelle Malmstrom!"
