Sonic, Manic, and Sonia stepped off the stage after their concert at Mobotropolis park.
Surge played with Manic’s spines. “Great job as always, Cute Stuff.”
Cyber, Glitch, and Nikòs looked up from their phones.
“Aw, were you three on the phones the whole time?” Manic asked.
“No, Dad.” Cyber said, looking up from her phone. “We watched the whole show. It was awesome.”
“Yeah, we wanted to post it after the show.” Glitch said.
“A’ight.” Manic replied.
Sonia hugged Shadow.
Sonic kissed Sally.
Rouge and Knuckles stepped over. “You three are awesome as always.”
“Thanks, Rouge.” Manic said.
“Well, you’ve got nothing to do.” Rouge said. “We’re going to East Mobius for our anniversary. What are you all gonna do today?”
“Hang out at home for vacation.” Manic said.
“Us too.” Sonic and Sonia replied.
“Have fun, you all.” Rouge said.
“You too.” Manic replied. “Thanks again for everything.”
“Oh, don’t mention it.” Rouge said. “Best business decision I ever made.”
Everyone went their separate ways.

Sonic and Sally laid in the hammock on the deck of their beach house on Emerald island, watching their four year old twins River and Lola play on the beach.
Sonic stretched out. “This is the life.” He said. “Travel, a nice house; you and the kids.”
Sally snuggled against Sonic. “It’s good to be home.”
Lola ran over. “Dad, do you wanna run with us?”
Sonic sighed. “No, let your mom and I enjoy the sunset.”
“Told you he’s chicken!” River yelled.
Sonic got up. “Alright, but you’re gonna regret asking me to race.” He said, getting ready to run.
“I’ll make dinner while you do that.” Sally said.
Sonic kissed Sally. “Be back in a minute, Sal.” He said. He ran off with the kids as Sally got up to make dinner.

Shadow and Sonia sat on the couch of their home in East Mobius, watching a movie after putting their three year old daughter Maria to bed.
“No, not the puppy.” Sonia whimpered as she hid her face.
“They didn’t show it.” Shadow said. “That’s the incident that kicks off the plot. It’s a tragic action movie.”
“I know.” Sonia replied. “It’s still sad.”
Shadow rubbed Sonia’s arm. “It is.” He said. He glanced at Sonia. “I can put it on something else if you’d prefer it.”
“No, it’s fine.” Sonia replied. “I know it’s your favorite movie.”
“One of my favorites.” Shadow said. “Terminator 2 is my favorite.”
“Right.” Sonia replied. She pulled her blanket up, then snuggled against Shadow.

Manic and his family gathered in the Hanging gardens with Sonic’s and Sonia’s families, Tails, and Aleena.
Cyber, Glitch, and Nikòs along with Sonic and Sally’s twins (River and Lola) and Shadow and Sonia’s daughter Maria explored the maze.
Sonic and Shadow were racing through the loops while Tails, Sonia, and Sally watched.
Manic, Kit, and Surge were sitting by the pool.
Aleena brought out tea for everyone.
Manic, Kit, and Surge took their cups.
“Thanks.” Manic, Kit, and Surge said.
Aleena sat down. “You’re welcome.” She replied. She sat down in one of the seats. “How was the show?”
“Amazing.” Manic said. “Thanks for everything. We don’t have any family, except Kit. It’s just our friends.”
“Oh, they were welcome to come for the party.” Aleena replied.
“They had plans.” Manic said.
Aleena nodded. “I see.” She replied. “Well, you’re all part of our family.”
“Really?” Manic asked.
“Of course.” Aleena replied.
“Thank you so much.” Manic said, hugging Aleena.
“Aww, you’re welcome.” Aleena replied.

Manic, Surge, and their kids made it back to their home in Mobotropolis.
“Good to be back in Dad’s old house.” Manic said, putting his arm around Surge.
“Especially with a security system and a nice fence.” Surge replied.
Manic sighed. “Wish he could’ve seen all of this.”
“He’d be proud, Cute stuff.” Surge said.
“Thanks, Babe.” Manic replied. He stroked Surge’s spines.
Surge smirked. “Can you sing while you do that?”
“Yeah, Tails upgraded the medallion.” Manic said. “It’ll stay charged longer and I can charge it at home.”
“Great.” Surge replied.
Manic sang to Surge as she drifted off to sleep.
