Andy's point of view:

it's been four years since the night we lost them and we've all moved out of Los Angeles. I now live in Nevada with my wife, Charlotte. Patrick lives in Chicago and he works as a music producer in a small studio. Joe lives in Arizona with his fiancé Deanna and their two year old little girl. I looked at my watch and sighed. I had a flight to catch at midnight to be where I was headed on time. I kissed my sleeping wife goodbye and headed to the airport. I was quiet on the flight and I played with the sleeves of my jacket nervously. About an hour later I heard the captain tell us to buckle up for landing I sighed as I looked out the window as we began landing and Los Angeles slowly came into view. When I stepped off the plane I looked at my watch and quickly called a cab. I only had about thirty minutes left. I was gonna be late. The cab driver pulled up to the park and I paid his as I got out. I walked over to the playground and sighed cause I was late,The others were already there. I climbed up and was greeted by Joe and Patrick. They had already set up the candles that would light our little party and they had already pulled out that note that Pete left us. They handed me a shot of vodka and we looked at each other and sighed. This was always a hard thing for us to do, but it was something that no matter how cheesy or cliche it was, we had to do.
Joe was the first to speak when he read the note that pete wrote before he did it:
/"i'm sorry i have to do this. i can't live without her, you know that.i guess i just love her too much for my own good. please just remember, be good to each other. Never lose touch and don't worry about us, true love never dies. Even if it's not on earth, we're gonna live forever."/

When he was done reading those few simple sentences that we have each come to memorize,he sighed softly and folded it back up.
"To Wendy and Peter" he said quietly and raised his shot glass.
Me and Patrick raised our shot glasses in the air just as joe did then quickly drank them down. It was my turn to speak. I cleared my throat as we poured another shot each. i swallowed hard and thought for a moment.i was never good at this part. finally i moistened my lips and spoke softly.
"Here's to the two bravest people I ever met" we raised our glasses and drank again. Finally it was Patrick's turn.
"Here's to the only two people that ever gave me proof that true love existed" we all nodded in agreement and raised our glasses and took our last shot.
We stayed quiet for a moment out of respect then proceeded to drink more vodka and catch up with each other. We did this every year since they died. It was our way of staying in touch with each other. It was our way of honoring our best friends, and deep down inside we all knew it was our way of keeping them alive.
