Devil's Eyes
2 reviewsThis is kind of a creepy poem I wrote for school. I got a good mark on it so I hope you like it as much as my teacher did. Basically it's about death and hell.

Devil's Eyes
I left the building and turned into an empty alley.
Blood dripped down my arm as the darkness engulfed me.
I was quickly growing weak.
I dragged my feet along with great effort.
My legs gave out and I slowly sunk to the ground.
Everything went dark.
I slowly opened my eyes and screamed.
A dark figure with glowing red eyes was leaning over me,
A look of hunger on its face.
Its cold boney hand grabbed my wrist.
A piercing pain shot through my body.
Another cry escaped my lips.
It dragged me to the ground.
I flinched, expecting to hit the pavement hard.
Instead I fell right through
Flames licked at my heels as I descended downwards.
I landed in front of a dark and grand creature, its deep yellow eyes boring into me.
In a deep voice all I heard was, "Welcome."
