"Good Morning Sunshine!" Brendon said strolling into the room. Minus the fact that it was actually the evening, I was glad to see him.

"You do realize that the sun has begun to set, right?" I said laughing. I noticed he had a gift bag with him. "What's that?"

"Oh! A gift for you. I hope it's your style," he said with a sly grin on his face.

He handed me the gift bag, which was orange with yellow tissue paper. I opened it up and pulled out a brown teddy bear.

"What's this for?" I asked.

"Well, sort of a get well gift I guess," he said, beginning to blush again. He was beginning to have a permanent blush around me.

"Well, I love it," I said giving it a little hug. It really was a sweet gesture.

"Um, so, are you ready to leave?" he said shifting his weight. Gosh he was cute.

"Actually since I just woke up, could I change first?" I wasn't keen on the whole hospital gown look.

"Sure," he said, not moving.

"Well, could you leave? I may be a dancer, but I'm not into stripping infront of strangers, no matter how cute they are." What had gotten into me? I'm usually never this flirtatious! Plus, I knew that getting involved with anyone, let alone my employer was NOT an option.

"Oh, sorry," he said, blushing again and backing out the door. I had to laugh. He sure was cute. Wait, what was I thinking?

I considered my past dating experiences as I changed into my street clothes. Although I was practically 19, I had still never been kissed. It wasn't that I was horribly unattractive, I just hadn't felt the need to kiss anyone, or allow myself to be kissed by anyone. It was rather awkward, and I wasn't up for letting Brendon know about my inexperience with the male gender.

With a quick look in the mirror, it was apparent that makeup wasn't going to fix my appearance. Damn. I found myself wanting to look good for the gorgeous human being in the hall, and annoyed that I couldn't do anything at the momment. Maybe after a shower...

"Are you ready yet?" I heard him say through the door.

"Sure am!" I said a little too excitedly as I opened the door and let him in. "Oh no! I just realized that I have to be back for school. Tomorrow." I knocked myself on the head with my good hand. How could I have forgotten? I may have just been given the job of a lifetime, but I still had college to think about!

"Do you really? You can't wait until the weekend?" he said, pouting.

"Well, I guess I don't really have a choice at this point, do I?" I stated, beginning to smile. Being stuck in this fairy tale for a while wouldnt' be so bad. I could always take this term off. It had only just started.

"Are you guys ready?" Ryan said, sticking his head in through the door.

"Who all came?" I asked, confused. Where did he come from?

"Just us. We're gonna take you back to our place now, okay? Then you can shower. The girls brought your suitcases from the hotel too." Ryan said as we began walking towards the exit.

I'm telling you, going down 4 flights between these two in an elevator was pretty much heaven. On the way to the car, Ryan stole Brendon's keys and threw them to me. We continued this keep away game until we reached a very interesting van.

"Purple?" I asked, beginning to laugh.

"Yeah it looks like a huge jellybean" Ryan said.

"Shut up! I happen to like the color purple." Brendon retorted.

"Very secure with your masculinity, aren't ya?" I said, still laughing.

"Naw, he's gay." Ryan replied.

I stopped laughing, shocked. Was he really gay?

"Don't tell her that! She'll believe you and we'll be in the tabloids faster than you can say Jessica Simpson!" he said, giving Ryan a little punch on the shoulder. "Can I have my keys now?" he pouted.

Ryan handed over the keys and we all hopped into the large purple van. The city streaked by, and the conversation was minimal. At first they asked me a few simple questions, like where I was from and where I was going to school, but they noticed my distraction. I stared out the window, taking in my surroundings. After all, I had never been to Vegas before. I was amazed at the color and difference of the countryside. A million times different from my midwestern upbringing. We pulled into a long driveway, where a decent sized house lay.

"This is it!" Brendon said in an announcer's voice.

Stepping out of the van, I was greeted by a fairly large dog, a boxer, and a smaller one, a mixed sheltie sort.

"The boxer is Xander, and the mutt is Jinx." Ryan said, pulling Xander off me. I was used to dogs though, having spent some time as a dog groomer's assistant. When I told Ryan this, he looked surprised.

"Wanna wash them for us?" He said, letting go of Xander's collar.

"Sure, if you've got a tub." I was dying to get in one myself.

"Of course! But we'll let you use it first," he said with a wink.

I noticed Brendon had gone on a bit ahead, but I noticed myself not minding. Ryan was fun, and liked to laugh and joke. I could definately see us playing practical jokes in the future. We walked to the house together, the dogs running ahead.

"So what do you think of the job offer?" he said, openning the front door.

"When do we start?" I said, kicking off my shoes.

Ryan laughed. "Not so fast. Let's get you better first," he said, showing me into the kitchen. There I found the girls, who were excited to see me.

"You have to see what we bought" Ilana said, grabbing my hand.

Into the basement, where cots for the four of us were set up, they showed me the profits of their shopping spree. When they were done, Brendon showed me to the bathroom, and I took a much needed shower. I must have just stood under the hot water for 10 minutes, letting the heat wash away the near week I spend in the hospital. When I finally emerged, everyone was already in bed. I layed down on the couch in the living room, where I eventually fell asleep.

In the middle of the night, I felt someone brush hair out of my face, and put a blanket over me. I opened my eyes, but the person was gone.
