"Pancakes are-" Ryan started.
They stopped dead in their tracks, mouths hanging open. I just kinda stood there, not sure what to do. After a momment, they both rushed back up the stairs, leaving me still standing there shocked. I shook my head, awaking from my trance and sank to the floor. A million things were racing through my mind. They just saw me in my underwear! Given, they were a nice pair of underwear to be caught in, but still! And it wasn't like I was naked or anything.

"Come on Cavanaugh. They aren't the first guys to see you in your underwear, and certainly wont be the last," I told myself.

I pulled my jeans on, checked my face in the mirror to make sure the blushing had gone down. Deeming myself ready, I walked upstairs. I found Jon in the kitchen, munching on pancakes.

"Do you know where Ryan and Brendon went?" I asked.

"I saw them rush into Ryan's bedroom," Jon said inbetween bites.

"And Spencer?" trying to sound causal.

"He took the girls out somewhere," he said, shoving yet another pancake into his mouth.

I laughed at him, and walked to the back of the house where Ryan's room was. I could hear the sweet sounds of the Red Hot Chili Peppers coming from behind the door. I knocked. The music stopped.

"Who is it?" I heard Brendon say from behind the door.

"It's me, Anna. I think we need to talk," I said, my hand going to the necklace around my neck.

Brendon flung open the door, grinning.

"Whatever is there to talk about?" he asked sweetly. I could see Ryan behind him sitting in a chair, looking out the window. I could tell he was blushing though.

"Look, about what just happened. It's not a big deal. You guys aren't the first to see my underwear, nor will you be the last. In fact, during band trips, the dancer's bus would always be parked next to the percussion bus. We never got tinted windows. We changed on those busses. Need I say more?" I explained, surprised at how calm I sounded.

"Are you serious? That's, um, awful!" Brendon said. "I bet they got to see a lot more too," he added, a sly look crossing his face.

"You're probably right," I shot back, my confidence building. "And that wasn't even my most embarassing momment," I said, thinking back to a rather embarassing fall on stage.

Brendon laughed, and Ryan got up and stood next to him.

"So is all your underwear that sexy?" Brendon asked bluntly. Ryan punched him in the shoulder. "What?" he asked. "I honestly want to know!"

"Wait, what does it look like? I don't remember," I laughed, honestly not remembering.

"Well, not that I was looking, but I believe they were black and lacy. Again, not that I was looking," he said smiling again.

I laughed. I couldn't believe I was standing here discussing my underwear situation with two guys, let alone THESE two guys.

"You two are awful. Knock next time, why don't ya? Or the situation might be more embarassing," I stated.

"Is that a promise?" Brendon asked raising his eyebrow.

"Get a room! Not mine!" Ryan said. "Let's go see if any pancakes are left anyway," he said walking past me out of the room.

Brendon and I looked at each other, laughed, and followed him back to the kitchen. Jon was gone, however, there were pancakes left for the three of us on plates at the table.

"Wow, I can't believe anything is left," Ryan said sitting down and grabbing the surup. Brendon and I joined him. I grabbed the newspaper on the table and began to read. Nothing all that exciting, but I couldn't do just one thing, like eating. Brendon finished, then said something about checking out the studio.

"What do you want to do today?" Ryan asked when I put down the paper.

"I don't know. Don't you guys have to practice or something?" I asked. I got up from the table and began to wash the dishes in the sink. My mother hated a sink with dishes in it.

"Nope. Plus, it's your birthday. Want to go to a movie?" he asked, moving me out of the way to do them.

"Oh you don't -"I started.

"No, I want to," he said smiling.

"Well, if you are sure you don't have to do anything today. Let me grab a coat," I said.
