Brendon looked at Amarie as she blushed. "What are you talking about Ry? Of course this is real." Ryan smiled at her and sat up a little. "I mean, what are the odds that we'd find you, just when our bus breaks down? How is it that it broke down near your home?" She stood straight up and reached for the ceiling in a dramatic pose. "It's fate!" She looked at all of us. "It has always been fate. It brought us together, knowing that we're meant to be." She spun around in a circle and Spence caught her in his arms as she fell backwards. They couldn't help but laugh at her. She smiled and sat up. "So, where's Brent?"

~Brendon's POV~

I couldn't help but look down at the mention of Brent. Jon cleared his throat. "I'm his replacement. Brent quit." Amarie smiled at him. "Oh, well...this is awkward." She spread out in a grin and held out her hand. "I'm Amarie Mionette." Jon smiled at her. "I'm Jon Walker." They shook hands and I couldn't help but feel a little jealous. Then it got quiet. Yet again, the dreaded silence filled the bus. After a few mins, felt an added weight on my side. Amarie had moved and sat down beside me. Her eyes were full of happiness and her goofy grin made me uneasy. "What are you doin?" She shook her head and kept her grin. I pulled away because she was getting way to close to my face. "Amarie..." In one quick motion I was on the floor and she was sitting on me, pinning me down. "HEY!" When she laughed at me, I felt like all my strength left my body.

"Say it Brendon." I gave her a sly grin. "It Brendon." Wrong move. She began poking me in my sides, knowing exactly where to push to make me squirm, and laugh. The guys were laughing at me, but I didn't care. I had found one of my good friends, what more could I want? She stopped and looked at me. Her eyes, they seemed to be screaming for me to do something. I coudn't tell what. I caught her weak spot. I grabbed her arms and rolled her over, pinning her down this time. She laughed softly and wiggled around. "Bren Bren, let me go." I grinned slyly. "Nope." I leaned down till I was centimeters from her face. "Say, Brendon is the smartest and most handsome guy you'll ever meet." She shook her head and her hair fell into her face. "NEVER!!" I laughed as I tickled the life out of her. I had never heard her laugh so hard. "BRENDON...stop....I.." I kept tickeling her till she couldn't breathe. "Bren...I....have...to...peee" I let her go and watched her get up really fast. "Where's the bathroom?" I pointed to a door in the back, and watched her run.

I just sat in silence with the guys till she got back. She was glaring at me. "Brendon Urie, I'm mad at you." I looked at her confused. "What did I do?" She sat on the floor and sniffed. "You made me pee in my underwear a little." At the sound of this I burst out laughing. So did the other guys. I looked at her and found her smiling too. Everyone seemed so happy. Jon spoke up and looked at her. "So, Amarie, how do you know these guys?" I watched her green eyes focus on me a little before looking at Jon. For some odd reason, I felt jealous that she was talking to him. "Well, I moved to Las Vegas a while back. I was new and, very much picked on."

Flash Back

I was sitting in class, goofing off with the guys as usual, when this girl walked in. Her hair was in her face so she scared me a little. The teacher took her note and put her in a seat next to mine, by the window. "Class, this is Amarie. Shes a new student so be nice and say hi." The whole class said hi at the same time. "Hello." It was soft spoken, and you had to strain your ears to hear it. Ryan nudged me. "Creepy." Brent laughed. "Its a new cousin it." Spence laughed too. "Hey, we should buy her a pair of sissors." I couldn't help but feel bad. Just as I was about to say something, she moved. She took her hair and flipped it out of her face, combing it back with her fingers. She smiled at me, her green eyes shining. "No one said that it was a bit windy here." Ry, Brent, and Spence silently took back what they said. I held out my hand. "Hi Amarie, I'm Brendon. Welcome to Las Vegas."
End Flash Back

Jon watched her as she spoke. When it was over, she smiled and moved her legs a little. I coughed and she looked at me. "Bren?" Before I could stop myself, I spoke what was on my mind. "Why did you leave? How come you didn't say anything? No warnings, no letter, no hints. You just picked up and left. Leaving us without you." I regretted it because her face fell.

"My dad.." She looked down and pulled her knees up to her face. "My dad, he tried to kill us 3. He had another family, and didn't want to deal with us." She sniffed. "The day I left, was the day he shot at us. We grabbed our things and ran. I wanted to see you, but, my mom said he'd look for us there." She looked up at us and I saw the tears in her eyes. She gave a sad smile. "He never beat us, thank God for that. We we're his Trophy Girls." She laughed a little. "If we had one scratch, he'd raise hell." Thats when she broke down crying. Before I could do anything, Ryan and her in his arms comforting her. "Shh...its ok. I've been through the same things." She held on to him, and cried harder. Soon, the room was spinning as she jumped up and cried in my arms. "I'm so sorry Bren. I should've called." She held her face to my chest and sniffed. I lifted her chin to look at me and kissed her forehead. "Hey, forget about it. You here now, fate brought you back."
