Flash of light and the floorboards tremble
in their fear below bare toes and calluses dull
their fear to a rush of joy squirming between skin and bone.
Chalk running tears, violet lilacs battering
away into blue flashy night.
Leaves bulge, veins burst fragrant oils that
sizzle and flame blue fire lancing the wounds and scars to
white blindness.
Leaving the floors heaving and shuddering
under your feet,
the world fading into blue black.
in their fear below bare toes and calluses dull
their fear to a rush of joy squirming between skin and bone.
Chalk running tears, violet lilacs battering
away into blue flashy night.
Leaves bulge, veins burst fragrant oils that
sizzle and flame blue fire lancing the wounds and scars to
white blindness.
Leaving the floors heaving and shuddering
under your feet,
the world fading into blue black.
