Alright, I´m a real ass because I haven´t read your latest updates. IN FACT, the last chapter I´ve read was no. 7. However, I caught up today and I´m glad I did. I heard some rumors about Evie being pregnant with Andy´s child (mostly spread by Evie so I wasn´t sure ;) ) and I found them confirmed now. And may I add: WHOA ON THE WHOAS!
I´m gonna be an even bigger ass and just leave one review that concerns all of those chapters that I read today (8-17):
a) There are a couple of wonderful phrases/ sentences but this one´s so good I might just steal it and put it in a song (if it isn´t in one already... and even then): "Time alone is not my friend. Time alone is time to think." (chp. 10) -> That´s my life story, right there. I love it. :) In fact, this alone is worth a rating point.
b) Patrick, the 16-y-o boy on Viagra. (chp. 13) God, don´t we all picture him like that? I know Pete does...
c) Evie enters the story. (chp. 13) Well, of course. We just learned that Patrick is a sex machine. Evie can´t be far. ;)
d) Anemarie is preggers and we don´t know who the father is. I wonder how Patrick´s gonna deal with her being torn between him and Pete now that his friend is probably the father to his girlfriend´s baby.
e) Overall praise: I love how you picture Anemarie´s conflicted personality and how you render her thoughts to match: fragments, one-word-sentences, etc.
:) Amazing work.Author's response
