Doumeki stared at the school survey he had been handed in class. More specifically, he stared at the blank marked, /'Sexual Preference'/.
After spending a good five minutes wondering why the hell a thing like that mattered in any way, shape, or form, he got to thinking. What was his sexual preference? He had never really decided.
Taking into account whom he considered himself to be in love with, he nipped heterosexuality in the bud. He'd never really been interested in girls, so that took care of bisexuality.
Now/, he thought to himself. /Would I really be considered gay? In his mind, 'gay' was defined as a man who liked or was attracted to other men.
/Men/. Plural. That was most definitely not the case with Doumeki Shizuka. He guessed there was really only one answer he could possibly put in that blank. He chose to leave it blank, however.
After all, he assumed Watanuki would not like his name anywhere on Doumeki's paper, let alone in that certain blank.
