The Two P's: Psychological and Physical
0 reviewsA poem about what's important in a relationship I guess.
0Unrated
Note: I was half asleep when I wrote this and in desperate need to write something so I could sleep.
Let the words soak through your body
Let them ring throughout your soul
Give the words a place to stay
A place they can call home
Emotions are what matter
The physical world is nothing but materialistic dreams
When your mind consists of the physical
Nothing is ever what it seems
Our bodies fade away
Our souls remain forever
Let me show you the way
I can make you better
Physical comes after
All else is right
To make the impossible dream reality
Each and every night
Psychology is the realm of immortality
The physical self is weak and vulnerable
Life fades like a candle flame in a breeze
But if you try hard enough
It'll all come with ease...
Let the words soak through your body
Let them ring throughout your soul
Give the words a place to stay
A place they can call home
Emotions are what matter
The physical world is nothing but materialistic dreams
When your mind consists of the physical
Nothing is ever what it seems
