I'm not always the quickest cheetah on the planes
I'm not always the slickest frog in the pond
I'm not always the cleverest fox in the den
I'm not always the sharpest crayon in the box, or the brightest bulb on the christmas tree
I'm not the fanciest wrapped present, I'm not the tallest, or the prettiest
I don't have the nicest clothes, my hair isn't perfect, it's full of split ends
My eyes aren't perfect, I need glasses in order to see what's right in front of my face
My flesh is pale and scarred
My body is small and weaker than some, my body is also sick and has trouble healing
Sometimes I get scared and sometimes I get fearful, I usually don't laugh, and I'm far from cheerful
I have many things wrong with me, yes I know, but there is one thing right in my life, and that is the love I share with my soulmate
Yeah, we're clumbsy, and we don't always know what to do
Sometimes we even fight
But things blow over and we work things out
Sometimes without even so much as a scream or shout
But even though the nights may seem cold dark and lonely, there's always a light to pull you through
These simple words:
I love you
