I like the way you have Harry getting the upper hand on the Ministry & Voldemort. The Younger Potter Twin

I liked the bits from everyone's perspective in this chapter. Giving a bit more of a window into the minds of the major characters is always a plus. The Younger Potter Twin

Well, that was as good as usual, though i am a bit surprised we didn't get to hear of lily's letter from the founder, and that harry hasn't invited sirius, remus, and co... yet.Author's response
The letters only go to adults, so the 7th years (and oldest 6th years) plus Hagrid and Flitwick would have gotten them at Hogwarts. Remus' parents and Ellen's father would have gotten them, too.

Another good chapter. I see that you are focusing on the diary as a center point for Voldemort and his defeat in this, and you're making Harry more of a friend to Lily than James and Sirius which is an interesting twist. I'm curious how many years you plan to cover in this book. Additionally, I am also curious on whether you intend to go through with the anamagus transformations in it as well. Please update soon. The Younger Potter Twin

Another excellent chapter. During Harry's talk with Dumbledore, Harry may have quoted Churchill about "It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried. "The Younger Potter Twin

I'm continuing to enjoy this story, quite refreshing to see Harry amidst a different set of contemporaries. Plus I think you've done some (more) original thinking with the political wrangling in this one; the point of the Ministry and Voldemort sharing a common goal, the unspeakables, the meritocracy league, the home protection companies (a bit like Muggles at Bay, that), etc.
So Lily is 'like a sister' to Harry, thus putting the kibosh on his pursuing her romantically? Okay.
(Couldn't help but wince when I heard those words, thinking of my favourite coupling, H/Hr, and how that same deadly pronouncement has been used time and time again in various fanfics)The Younger Potter Twin

Harry is right about the Ministry. If they are so stupid as to devote most of their energies into investigating 'The Order' and harassing the average wizard instead of attacking the Death Eaters, then they'll reap what they sow. Even if Dumbledore doesn't like it.
Hoping that Britain will be back to normal after Voldemort is defeated, Dumbledore got another thing coming. Harry is going to make the magical better.
So the Marauders have started early. :D
