His Chemical Romance. -/part ocho./
Gerard layed in bed while Izzy stroked his hair. "How do you feel today?" she asked in a soothing voice. Lately, she and Gerard had been home alone. Frank had been working, Marilyn, too. Mikey had been aswell working, and well Erica? That bitch was out of their lives. Gerard sighed as he was laying face down, Izzy sitting near his hip. "I feel better than yesterday." he replied, as he kicked his feet a bit. "Gerard, are you sure?" she asked, in that same soothing voice. That's what Gerard loved about her. She was so calm, and she knew how to make him feel better. He nodded gently as he remembered where he was. "I'm sure. You've helped me a lot, Elizabeth." at that, Izzy cringed. "Yuck!" she exclaimed. "Don't call me that!" she said, laughing a bit.
Gerard turned over and grabbed her, pushing her down, and using her weakness against her; he tickled her senseless. "Gerard you're a fucking douche!" she yelled, as she laughed and tried to pry him off, but Gerard caught her off guard, and he was stronger than her. After a while he pinned her down and leaned down, close to her ear. "Say it." he whispered. "NO!" she yelled, breathlessly. "Sayyyy itttt." he whispered, tauntingly. Izzy laughed as she said "Gerard... is... an... amazing... du-person... and... he... owns... me!" she yelled, between laughs, and atlast, she was released. She sat in the bed, coughing and clutching her stomach. "Ow." she said, as she brushed her sleek, black hair back, out of her face which had beads of sweat trickling down her forehead. Gerard smiled a bit. "I'm sorry sweetie." he said, kissing her cheek. She smiled weakly. "It's okay." she said, as her cellphone rang.
She went over to her bag and picked it up.
Izzy: "Hello?"
Person: "Hello, Elizabeth."
Izzy: "Don't fucking call me that, Erica."
Erica: "Pass the phone to Gerard. His is off."
Izzy: It's my cellphone. you don't tell me what to do."
Erica: "Shut up and do it."
Izzy: "Leave Gerard alone you sick, filthy whore."
&she hung up.
"...Izzy..." Gerard said, as he noticed how badly she was shaking. He grabbed her and held her, trying to calm her down. "I can't stand her! She acts like her motherfucking shit doesn't stink when it sure as hell does! Like she controls you or some fucked up bullshit!" she said, enraged. Gerard turned to her and held her face. "Izzy, baby. Chill out, okay? It's fine. I know it was fucked up. I know." he said, gently placing his forehead upon hers. Izzy sighed. "I wonder what would've happened if..." Gerard knew what she wanted to say. "Me too." he said, "me too." he repeated, in a whisper. They looked into eachother's eyes. and Gerard remembered what it was like, what it was like to be inlove with this girl. Izzy was thinking the same thing.
...Gerard sat on his couch, watching random television. He was bored, and Izzy had gone to go buy herself some girl stuff. Ew. Gerard felt a bit bad. Him and Izzy had shared a kiss. A wonderful, spectacular, delicios kiss. but it meant nothing. They got caught up in the past, is what happened. Gerard stared at the TV as some reporter came on. "Hello I'm Marie Collins, and tonight we are reporting a missing child. She has short, straight black hair, green eyes, about two, three feet tall, at the age of three. Last seen in her home. She has been missing for nearly a month now. Heidi Alexandra Cohen. Please, if you have information, call..." Gerard stared at the photograph. That girl was beautiful. and Gerard was shocked. He felt as if, as if he knew her. The last name also had an odd ring to it.
Lissa sighed as she watched herself get weaker. She hadn't eaten much. She missed her baby too much. She sat at the kitchen table as she twirled a piece of her now dead, hair in her fingers. Jake and Landon were out, celebrating an anniversary, while Angie was at work. Lissa kicked her feet a bit as she heard the door open. "hey Lissa!" Jake said, hand in hand with a happy Landon. "Hey boys." she replied, a bit weakly. "Oh hunnie have you eaten? you look terrible." Landon said, concerned. Lissa nodded her head. "Don't worry hunnie, they'll find her." Jake said.
"What if they don't?! What will I do?! What if she... what if she..." she began, but her eyes rolled to the back of her head, and she fell back on the cold tile floor, unconcious.
Gerard sat at the kitchen table, eating a tub of ice cream, alrady halfway done. "Gerard! What's wrong?!" Izzy asked, walking inside. "Nothing. Just been thinking." .../about lissa. and our delicious kiss./ Izzy frowned. She got a spoon and began to eat. "Come on Gerard, let's go sit and talk." she said, putting her poon back in the tub. "Can I bring the ice cream?" he whined. She laughed. "Yes, yes. come on!" she said, as she took his hand and they went to his room, sitting on the floor in their pajamas eating ice cream. It was late midnight and they were waiting for everyone to arrive.
It basically sucked to be un employed. They stayed up till 3 in the morning waiting for the others, and they all went to sleep, agreeing to have a nice dinner the day after.
Lissa ran to the phone as it rang, late at four in the morning. She had temporarily passed out.
Lissa: "Hello?"
Person: "Miss Cohen. We have information on your daughter."
Lissa gasped.
Person: "Please, coem to the police station.
As soon as possible."
Lissa: "Thank you."
Person: "Your welcome. we'll see you in a bit."
Lissa hung up and ran to Jake and Landon's room. She walked in on them having sex. "LISSA! DAMMIT." Jake said, getting from inback of Landon and covering himself. "I'm sorry but they have information on Heidi!" she yelled. Jake and Landon got dressed and in a few, they were in Jake's car, driving to the police station, Lissa's heart beating fast.
They arrived and went up to the front desk. "I'm Lissa Cohen, I got a call about information about my daughter." she siad, Landon and Jake at her side. The girl nodded. "Yes, right this way." she said, leading them to a room where some people were waiting. One of the men got up and introduced himself as Detective Harris. He told her how they had gone on about looking for her.
"Well, did you find her?" Lissa asked, a bit frantically. The Detective sighed and began to pace around. "She's not in the best conditions..." he said, a bit uneasy. "I want to see her, dammit." Lissa demanded. The Detective nodded, and what Lissa saw next made her cry.
There she was, her pretty little Heidi Alexandra Cohen, with bandages aronud her head, and in a wheelchair. "Mommy!" she said. "Heidi!" Lissa said, crying as she hugged her daughter. "Miss Cohen, your daughter... the kidnapper, he beat her. So bad, he hurt her leg. She may... she may never walk again..." he said. Lissa stopped and looked at him. "She..." she began, as she put her mouth to her hand and gasped.
"I'm sorry, Miss Cohen. It's a possibility she will. We all pray for the best. We will give her therapy to help in the recovery." Detective Harris said. "She's only three..." One of the female police officers, who was making Heidi laugh, said. Lissa nodded. "Miss Cohen, you will also have to go to court. We have the kidnapper. We're sure he'll be charged with kidnapping and violence against a toddler, but we'll need you there. For sepcific reasons." he said, nodding a bit and smiling as Heidi smiled at him.
"How'd you find her?" she asked. "At the kidnapper's house. after a long search we fonud her. and that's all that matters." he said.
Lissa nodded. "Thanks... so much.." she siad, throwing her arms around him. He hugged her back, and she took Heidi, and signed her release papers as she sat in the back with Heidi. "Baby, what happened?" she asked. "A mean man, mommy. he hit me and pushed me down the stairs, i have so many boo boos!" she siad, pouting and crying. Lissa held her. "Don't worry." she whispered. "The mean man will be having a long time out." she siad, as she rocked Heidi back and forth, who was happy to be in the arms of her mother.
Everything seemed to be going right.
