{Yep, I decided that at 01:44 in the morning I will write the next chapter}
Mikey fell to his knees as Izzy cried, on the floor. "I'm... so sorry but I can't..." Mikey said, breathlessly. Izzy cried, louder. "How could you?!" she said, as she felt herself losing her breath. "Izzy... I'm sorry... it's just..." he began, but he didn't know how to word it. How to word the fact that he wanted to leave her, when they had been strong for a long time. "I just think it's best for us." he whispered to her, putting his hand on her shoulder. She shrugged him off and got up, grabbing her bags. "Where are you going...?" he asked, shocked. "I don't know, but I do not wish to see you right now, Michael." she said, angered. "Ouch." he replied. She had never, ever in their whole time of knowing eachother called him Michael.
She stormed out and Mikey helplessly watched her get into her car and ride off. He sighed as he wiped his eyes, God he was crying. He must have sat there, staring out the window a long itme because when Gerard tapped him back into reality; it was dark outside. "Mikey... what happened?" he asked. Mikey shook his head. "Where's Izzy?" he asked, a bit more concerned. "She's gone." Gerard panicked. "What?! Why?!" he said. "I left her. because she's better off with someone else. it's best for both of us." he said, softly. "Oh man, Mikey. You really wrecked her." Gerard said, it wasn't his intention to make Mikey feel bad, but hell he knew he was right. Izzy never left situations unresolved, even when herself and Gerard called off the engagement. This; worried Gerard more than anything.
A week had gone by, and Gerard hadn't heard from Izzy. He finally got his cell and called her.
Izzy: "Hello?"
Gerard: "Sweetie!"
Izzy: "Hi Gee. Listen I'm in a hurry..."
Gerard: "Where the hell are you?"
Izzy: -sighs- "At Andy's."
Gerard: "...Andy?"
Izzy: "Andrew, Andrew Hurley. Remember? From calculus class."
Gerard: "What the hell are you doing with him?"
Izzy: "We're friends and he's letting me crash at his place."
Gerard: "Oh, Izzy, about Mikey, he's worried sick..."
Izzy: "Yeah, right. I have to go. Andy wants to take me for food."
Gerard: "Izzy..."
Izzy: "Goodbye, Gerard."
Gerard sat in silence as hot tears gently rolled down his cheeks. She only called him Gerard when she was angry or concerned, and he sure as hell knew she was nowhere near concerned. Mikey must have hurt her bad. She did seem happy to be with Andy. God that kid was a blast. He was like; top of the class, such a nerd, but really sweet at the time, and good on drums. Gerard sighed as he wiped his eyes, figuring he'd called her sooner or later. Atleast he knew she was okay.
Lissa sat in the car as Heidi kicked her feet. "Mommy, why isn't Uncle Landon here?" she asked. She was now five years old, and beautiful. The therapy had worked, she was perfectly fine. She could walk. Jake turned to her. "Oh Munchkin you ask so many questions." he said, rubbing her back as he hugged her. The truth was Landon had gotten into a fight with some bullshited shit talkers that made fun of his sexuality. So, while Landon was in bed resting, Lissa and Jake decided to take Heidi to the mall. They got out of the car and eidi walked in between them, holding their hands. She giggled as they passed the candy store. They stopped and got some cotton candy.
Gerard laughed as he exited the car. Him, Mikey, Andy, and Frank had decided to take a boy's day out. After a month Izzy decided to talk things over with them, and they agreed that she'd live with Andy but she'd still visit. Now, two years later, Andy and Izzy are in a very serious relationship, and her and Mikey are on okay terms. Gerard was happy for he. She deserved a good guy, after being hurt by the Way brothers. Today, herself, Marilyn, and Mikey's new girl, Katt were having a girl's day. They passed by their favourite toy store and went inside, acting childish. Gerard laughed as Andy pretended to ride a horse. He was usually shy, but with the boys, he would let lose. It's like the way Frank never epected to walk in on Izzy and Andy having sex. I mean, Andy? Psh.
They walked aronud as they ate some candy. "Oh gosh, we should go in there!" Andy said, excitedly, pointing at a 'build-a-bear' workshop. The boys agreed and they walked inside, looking around. Gerard was holding a teddy bear he had made when he felt someone bump into him. "Oh, I'm sorry." he said, as he noticed it was a little girl. She had long black hair and green eyes. They looked so familiar. "It's okay mister. Oh what a pretty teddy!" she said, bouncing up and down. Gerard had seemed to ahve a soft spot for this little girl. She really reminded her of himself. "You want it? I don't have anyone to give it to." he said, handing her the teddy bear. In an instant; her face lit up. "Thank you!" she said, smiling as she hugged Gerard's legs. Gerard smiled as he kneeled to hug her, too. He knew it was wrong to speak to random kids, but there was something about her...
Lissa looked around and saw Heidi had slipped out of her sight. She was too busy decorating her teddybear to notice. She sighed as she then spotted her; talking to a man. She went over by Heidi. "Sweetie, why did you leave?" she asked Heidi, avoiding the man's eyes. Heidi said sorry. "I'm sorry if she bothered you," Lissa began, as she looked up. "it's just--" but she was caught off by the look on the man's face. A look of shock, yet happiness. She gasped as she realized those eyes, that hair, those lips... "...Gerard...?" she barely let out.
Gerard felt his heart beat faster, and faster. "Lissa?" he responded. "Oh, wow, uhm..." she began, as Heidi climbed into her arms. "Lissa... who's kid is this?" Gerard asked, a bit worried. "Uhm, she's my daughter, Gerard." she replied, as she looked at him. "She... she..." he began, but no words came out. "I know. She looks like you..." she said softly, as Jake came and took Heidi away, knowing it wouldn't be pretty. Gerard sighed as it clicked in his head. "You mean... to tell me... that, that's... that's..." he began. "I think she is." Lissa said. "Why the fuck didn't you tell me you were pregnant?!" Gerard hissed, so nobody could tell anything was wrong. "Gerard, I don't know, okay! I was scared she wasn't yours, but then I saw her and knew..." she began, tears in her eyes. "Lissa..." Gerard said, as he put his han on her cheek. "I'm not happy that I've been having a daughter for ages and didn't know. Or that she was kidnapped or that you made me miss out on one of the best things ever! and the fact that you ran away from me..." he began. Lissa sighed.
"Lissa, don't feel bad, though. I understand." he said. "You do?" she asked, shaking a bit. "I do." he said, as he leaned in and gently brushed his lips upon hers. Oh, that felt amazing. Lissa pushed him away. "You should hate me..." she said. "Lissa, I never stopped loving you." Gerard said, as he looked her in the eye, and she knew, Lissa know he wasn't lying. "I didn't either..." she said, as she smiled, too.
Somehow, Gerard knew things would be okay. Him and Lissa decided they'd go their own ways, but would definately keep in touch, and Lissa would be telling Heidi about her Father; very soon. They both knew they were still inlove, but this time they decided they'd take things slow.
