  I know I've already read this but not sure I've reviewed. I love how them they are, how things aren't all fluff and bunnies but they're damn good anyway. Very well done.

  Heheh, niiice. ^_^ You know, before the revelation that every single one in that regiment was female, I thought it'd be nice if Polly and Mal did get together somehow. This story sort of...filled in the details really well. Urk. I hope Terry Pratchett ain't looking.

  Wonderful. You've kept to Pratchett's style without being way too "over Pratchetty." Trying to statirize what shouldn't in all conscience be satirized. And you've kept the characters in character. Fellow Discworld fan gives you the grin.

  um . . . what? i didn't quite follow that . . . what was going on?
  
  who else thought that mal should have turned out to be the only guy? i definitely did. that was the only disappointing part of that story. good book, otherwise. thanks for posting a fanfic!
