So, we had this big ball at school, right? Whole school there and everything? And you know, I really liked this girl, but there's things you say to your mates and there's things you don't, and "go to the dance with me" is one of the things you don't say.

Sometimes you don't realize how stupid you are until you see your second-best friend with some idiot who doesn't know what he has. He has everything. Talent, fame, and now he's taken one of my friends.

It makes your night suck, doesn't it? It's a good thing there aren't any more school balls. This one was bad enough. Just pull me apart and let me lie there, all right? Without Harry...damn it. Sometimes it's better just to hang out. Wish Hermione would understand.
