It was Friday morning Amber hit the annoying ringing of her alarm clock. She rolled out of bed and went straight into her bathroom turned on her
shower and stepped inside. Half an hour latter the bathroom door opened and a cloud of steam escaped as she went into her room to get dressed and head off
for the beautiful prison her parents called high school. She ended up picking out black pants, a pink tank top and black sweater. She grapped her Nightmare
Before Christmas messenger bag said by to her parents and was out the door.

"About dam time you were ready" a cold voice said behind her. She instantly turned around knowing exactly who it was. "Hi Hun" she mumbled as she
went to give him a hug and kiss on the cheek. "Where were you last night" he said pushing her away. Amber knew she couldn't tell him she went to the concert,
Jeff hated the guys. But they were her best friends. Especially Pete. They had been friends since she was little. Their parents were friends so it wasn't like
she could just drop him like that without her parents noticing. "I was sick" she said lying through her teeth. She knew if she told him she wouldn't be the
only one that would pay for her actions. He glared at her she just looked away and asked him what they were doing tonight. He said that she was going to go
to his house and they would have a "good time". She just nodded as she looked up noticing that they had finally arrived at school. She walked into the school
ignoring Joe, Pat, Andy, and of course Pete. She just watched her feet as they walked up the stairs and out of sight.

"Dude he's changing her" Andy said noticing that she walked by without even looking at them. The guys just nodded. "Did you talk to her about it last
night Pete?" all the guys looked up at Pete. He just nodded. "She told me that she knew what she was doing and that this wasn't any of my business...and then
we got into a fight and she told me that she hated me and she never wanted to see or hear me ever again". As He finished telling them he got up. Andy
following him. "Look dude my cousin didn't mean it. She knows how much you ca-" he was cut off" No...that's exactly it she doesn't know how I feel about her.
She doesn't know how much I think about her. No one does." He said walking away. Andy stood not knowing what just
happened. Does Pete love her? But more importantly did Amber love Pete? I mean I'm sure she loved him but did she love him like that. He was just in the
middle of trying to figure out what happened when Joe jumped on his back. They asked what happened and he told them and they just all stood there as the bell
rang. They just decided to talk to Pete about it at lunch considering that none of them had any classes with Pete...except Amber, she had every class with him.
