I heard the doorbell ring, and I immediately ran to answer it. Seeing his face, made me realize how much I needed him.

"Hey." I whispered.

"Hey."

"Are you ready to talk?"

"Yeah. I'm ready."

We stepped into my room, and I felt his hand on my leg.

"Why?" I asked.

"Why, what?" he said looking into my eyes.

"Why did you cheat on me?"

"She came on to me , plus I was drunk."

"Really?"

"Yeah, why else would I call you?"

"I don't know."

"Well, I didn't want to lose you."

"Ok."

I hugged him and kissed him hard on the lips.

"Do you promise to not ever cheat on me again?"

"I promise."

Then, I got a kiss on the lips. Everything was back to normal, but things were going to be different. I had just a huge feeling about it.

"What do you want to do?" he asked.

"What we were going to do earlier."

"Alright, let's go to my house."

"Did I mention how much I love you?"

He blushed.

"I love you too."

We walked to his car and soon drove away. At his house, we watched movies, while it rained. It seemed perfect, not to be cliche or anything, but it was. The first one was Titanic. What else? He's not like other guys in Chicago; he'll watch these sappy movies with me. I ended up sleeping at his house with his arms around me.

"Patrick?"

"Yeah?"

"Please don't ever let me go."

"I won't ever let you go. I care about you too much."

"Night Trick."

"Night Jenny."
