Send me an Angel

By I. B. Tryster

Written in song format. Another CC song; if you want the full explanation of what CC is, go see the other song 'Creature of the Night' on my homepage. Further notes at the bottom, but I gotta say; of the two songs, this one is my favorite. And once again, I don't have a tune to it, sorry...

This is another song that I wrote a while ago, so it's lacking in structure and such, but I hope you still like it.

Italics are backup singing

/Bold Italics/ are both singing at once

Send me an angel
With wings dark as night
A corrupted pureness
To help me through this fight
Send me an angel
With a crooked smile
Beautiful in the thick darkness
While I'm ugly in my white denial

I've come to see
Your face in place of my own
This dirty mirror reflects my desire
And my darkest fear
And you smile at me as I scream

You're just a dark angel eating away at my soul
A beautiful corruption in this ugly world
I wish you would just eat me whole
So I don't have to listen to my fear

Send me an angel
With wings dark as night
A corrupted pureness
To help me through this fight
Send me an angel
With a crooked smile
Beautiful in the thick darkness
While I'm ugly in my white denial

I've gone blind from the light
I was a fool to think you would help me
All you've done is fuel my desire
For the other side of white

/I'm drowning in your darkness/
/And no ones here to hear me scream/
/The only one to help,/
/Is the one who left me here first/
/My angel of dark/
/Your wings dripping blood/
/And I don't believe that it's yours/

Send me an angel
With wings dark as night
A corrupted pureness
To help me through this fight
Send me an angel
With a crooked smile
Beautiful in the thick darkness
While I'm ugly in my white denial

I'm not really sure what I was thinking of when I wrote this. Once again it is angst and totally not my usual happy funny stories. I blame it on whatever muse thought of it -__- (Stupid angst period)

The really ironic part is that the 'Send me an angel' bit is from some picture I saw and it wasn't depressing at all. The picture itself made me feel happy, actually O.o

Also I was trying to actually rhyme some stuff, but it's harder than it looks. It just didn't fit how my mind went. So the rhyming isn't consistent, sorry.
