This prologue is rather intersting and it does intrigue a reader into wanting to go on and find out what happens next.
I don't usually read fics that are OC-centric, because I hate how they overshadow pretty much every canon character. Just make sure yours doesn't become a Mary Sue and therefore too much of an OC for people to enjoy her. I really like her so far, even though I don't know that much about her. Perhaps I feel empathy for her situation.
I like the flow of this prologue, it's different and has a stream of consciousness feel to it.
Also you said you would take suggestions on pairings, so could Sasuke be either asexual or gay? At this point and time, unless you have a great way of writing, I can't see him getting into a committed relationship with a women, unless it is backed up by the duty of reviving his clan. At the same time, the one person who Sasuke had the closest bond to, without it being Itachi and therefore rather twisted, is Naruto. Liked him so much he couldn't kill him, and didn't 'like' Sakura enough to consider killing her at all. I hope I'm not sounding pushy, just trying to make my 'suggestion' sound convincing. I'm extremely thankful you reviewed. I don't like Mary Sues either and that's why I'm trying the opposite and different approach with this girl and basically this story. Really I haven't found oc fic summaries that don't have the 'powerful and skilled' undertone.
I was contemplating Sasuke as an asexual - because it's different to my usual SasuNaru writings - but now someone's suggested it I've have some good scenes involving SasuNaru running through my head. So I'd say your suggestion was extremely convincing.Tsuriaichi
