As a first attempt, it's good. As a poem, it's fairly standard.
Don't worry about using the same words again... in poetry you can use repetition for emphasis, effect, or rhyme. At times, the repetition can enhance your poem. For your poem, it does feel a bit off, but maybe you can modify the tenth line to fit the meter of the rest of your poem. It's a bit long... hence probably why it feels off.
