Why is it the things inside you just can't see?
Here I am alone.
But your standing right infront of me.
I know I'm not the girls that you see in magazines.
But I promise theres more beauty to me than it seems.
I'm not beautiful, or thin, or shaped with perfection.
But because of my flaws, I sense harsh rejection.
My shell is dull,
But my personality is bright.
Can you really not see through,
for your heart is dark as night?
I really thought there was some good within you...
The diets, tears and makeup I've been through.
Then a little voice told me,
One day someone will love me for me.
So, obviously me and you could just never be.
