The True Haunting

This poem makes me wonder if the house is a metaphor for something, particularly because of the line "Once you enter you'll never see light". There's the possibility this could stand for a perilous situation or a situation that's beautiful but too addicting that you won't see the horror until it is too late.
Or a cigar can just be a cigar and I can take this as a literal poem about a haunted house. That works, too. Good use of words here, though if it's a literal poem, it could use some added imagery to make the scene more frightening. :)
